A half-collapsed city of alabaster and gold fiercely governed by Eypharians. Even partially ruined, it is the crown of the desert and a worthy testament to old glories and rising powers.

Among the rich lie the destitute (Faroul)

Postby Haben on December 18th, 2011, 4:29 am

It was yet his second day in the city, and his time previous still waited freshly on the edges of his mind. With that visit he had finally seen the wisdom of why his father begged him to have accompaniment every time he found himself near the huge city, finally understood his fathers reluctance was not based off of lack of trust but keep someone near the young benshira to translate for he knew nothing save for Shiber, and some Tawna. Lucky he had been to meet a Chaktawe among his first time alone in the city or truly lost and fruitless would that self exploring journey have been. A day separated him from then and he didn't expect to run into the young man this day to so help him, so upon his father's bidding he brought his younger sister along to help him better communicate with those that ran the markets. The day had proven rather fruitful so far finding him getting many things his father needed back at their tents as well as some figs to add to the olives, and cheese he had brought with him to eat in the city.

For the moment the young benshira's eyes scanned the crowd for the woman who had disappeared off on errand for their mother, but instead his eyes settled upon a sight he hadn't expected to see. Sitting cross-legged upon the ground in dusty fraying clothing similar to his own was a benshiran man eating in solitude upon a colorful stripped mat. Haben's eyes darted around for a moment to see if he might catch a glance at another that was traveling with the man for he knew this one was not from his father's tents and if there was another families tents around he knew not of them or their arrival. Perhaps this one found himself here much like Haben did, but intended to stay just long to arrange to go back to Yahebah where might he had a home.

The benshira shook such speculations away though quickly fully intending to find out for himself but in proper fashion. His sandaled feet sidestepped their way past a throng of people crowding to find one thing or another to bring him on the side of the street the benshiran man was taking his lunch, and with a few more steps he found himself at the man's side.

"Falim, mind some company for your meal?"
