11th of winter 511 AV At this very moment, coren was not very happy as he pushed himself out of the thick layer of snow that he had met face to face only a few moments earlier, grumbling as the huge amount of snow stuffed underneath his robe dropped further down his back and some slipped into his breeches he was wearing underneath thim. Did they really have to be such hardarses about a simple joke he played on them? Sheesh, old people these day's they really are a humorless lot. Coren tapped his gnosis and melted down the snow stuffed down his robe, hissing as the cold water ran down his back and soaked everything he was wearing underneath his robes. Cursing his own stupidity at that move and blessing morwen for the fact her mark made him more resistant to the cold. Still he rather heat himself up a bit and get some fresh clothes before he got frostbite. He quickly scrambled towards the edge of the roof and looked over the sides, looking for the ladder that he should have left standing on the edge. Only to let out another growl of frustration as he saw it lying on the ground, those bastards having thrown it down so he would be stuck. Coren snorted as he sat down on the edge of the roof and shoved his hands in his pockets and closed his eyes concentrating on the steady glow of his djed as he slowly pushed the astral body of both his arms out of his real body. As he opened his eyes he took a look at the ghostly hands only visible to his own eyes and flexed them out of habit to check if they worked right. As he had done that he quickly stretched his projected arms to the ladder lying on the ground and began dragging it upwards and lifted one part of it up and slowly, but surely began dragging it over towards the edge of the roof. As his entire mind was focused on that single task he didn't keep an eye on anything else. |
