Home of the Konti people, this ivory city is built of native konti stone half in and half out of the sea. Its borders touch the Silverwood, and stretch upwards towards Silver Lake, home of the infamous konti vision water. [Lore]

Winter 23rd 511AV

It was a calm and cool afternoon. With a Constant, yet gentle fall of large, individual flakes of snow falling from the sky. During the winter, the Konti isles were oh so very white. With the ferns of the tree’s all a light blue and white, and small clumps of snow resting neatly on top their comfortable tree bed. Hoping the branch would not give under the weight, and cause it to tumble onto the ground. The ground itself, also very white, had a fresh, thin layer of snow layup top. It’s velvet look, undisturbed by anyone.

Even the silver lake lodge, which was but only a few dozen yards away, was just another white building, which dissolved into the white ground. The only thing that stuck out slightly was the Silver Lake. Which laid still, only rippling slightly with every snow flake that fell. But even the lake showed a grayish tint, as it only mirrored the overcast sky. With a slight white spot where the sun tried to break through and express it’s yellowish rays. Which was being blocked, as if the sky was trying to void the land below of any chance of color.

White, white and more white! Neve walked around the scenery, wishing for a slight change, wishing for more color. Even Neve herself steered clear of the lake, for it would only show an image of which she would dread at the moment. With her white and silver hair, and pale complexion, she too would just fade into the vast nothingness of white that lay across the land. The only thing that made her stand out ever so slightly amongst the scenery was her cream colored dress against her white cloak. Which laid across her petite figure casually in a seeming less flow.

she stood there for a moment, looking around her surroundings for something, anything that would stand out and disrupt the constant scenery. She contemplated her options over and over in her head. Wondering if she should head towards the Silver lake lodge and see if anything interesting was there that could catch her attention, or if she should just return to the Opel order.

It has been another peaceful day for the young Konti, Zharya. She was in the middle of taking a short walk to think. Soon all of that changed once she spots another being. Now, Zharya has never seen any other race before. It was weird to her, she didn't want to bother the being but she did feel curious. Zharya starts to rub her long white hair with both her of her hands, she had a purple strand. Still without a single word she just kept her eyes on the being.

The woman from another race was looking around, Zharya knew the woman would spot her sooner or later and Zharya couldn't be so sure that the woman was friendly. Did she know Kontinese? That was the question because that is Zharya's main language. Soon Zharya felt herself sit on the ground and relax. Still thinking about the other woman she stares at her wanting to know more.

This woman obviously looked much different from Zharya. So many questions ran through her head, Zharya's mother told her many things about different races but Zharya had no idea what this woman was or why she came to Mura. Zharya went back to rubbing her beautiful long white hair while staring at the strange woman.

Shortly after surveying the area around her, Neve’s eyes locked onto a petite figure that sat not far away. Intrigued by the sudden new appearance that was obviously staring towards her, if not directly at her, she greeted the stare with a returning gaze. With her silver hair, pale complexion, and obviously small build. It was easy to see she must have been a Konti. It wasn’t until Neve paid closer attention that she noticed the sudden flash of purple appear. From afar, Neve’s eyes widened at the color, as if a child had spotted a new toy.

Never breaking eye contact from the strands of purple that rested between the konti’s fingers, she continued to march forward towards her until finally she stopped abruptly in front of the stranger who sat in front of her. Staring down towards the Konti, she quickly flopped down onto the snow, to get a better look. Completely fascinated, Neve resisted the urge to just reach out and grab the konti’s hair.

After a few moments had passed, Neve’s eye contact eventually broke free of her hair and down to her Light blue-eyes. As she stared into the strangers’ eyes with her head cocked slightly to the side, She smiled widely. With a large grin on her face, she continued to greet the person who sat across from her in Kontiense. “Hello! Nice to meet you, I’m neve, I hope we can get along. By the way, is your hair always purple like that? Do you do something weird? I wonder if I can get purple in my hair…But it’s always nice to see a new face!

After the sudden bombardment of questions, neve then took in a deep breath of air and sat in wait, wondering what the Konti’s answers would be.

This was interesting, the woman knew Kontinese. Now Zharya was even more curious, how did she know the language? Where did she learn it? Has she been here before and if so how come Zharya never met her anywhere before? All of this didn't add up, Zharya was the type of Konti that wanted to know EVERYTHING. Zharya's grandmother taught her many things when she was younger, some of those things Zharya wishes she could get rid of, like magic for example. Zharya wasn't a hostile Konti so why would her grandmother feel the need to teach her this kind of stuff?

Zharya feels her face change, she starts to smile slowly at the woman, Neve. It was a nice name Zharya thought. Neve also wanted to know more about the purple strands in Zharya's hair, it was something her grandmother did to her. Zharya didn't really know what it was so she wouldn't be able to give Neve a good answer on that one but all the other ones she could answer them.

Zharya began to reply in Kontinese "You can speak my language?! How did you learn? And i'm sure we can get along. My purple strands are the result of something my grandmother did i'm not so sure. You have a nice name, my name is Zharya. Not to be rude but what is your reason for coming to Mura?"

Zharya really didn't want to be rude, she was just curious again as to why someone would come to Mura randomly. To others it might have seemed like a new and beautiful place but to Zharya it was normal. She has never been anywhere outside of Mura so she didn't think of Mura how outsiders would. But this new one, Neve, sure was friendly Zharya thought. She wouldn't mind having a conversation with her.

Zharya spoke again "And if you don't mind, what race are you exactly?"

OOCSo I'm going to make neve a little bit younger then I originally intended, just because I thought it would be more fun to watch her grow from the ground up. So she may seem a little more daff to the world at first :P bare with her, she'll gain more life experience the more threads she does :)
Upon seeing the smile form over the Konti’s face reassured her that she had not been to over-whelming. For she has been told by multiple Konti alike, that her personality can sometimes be…a bit much. But to Neve’s delight, The person who sat across from her appeared not to be taken aback, But instead just as enthused as Neve herself.

Neve’s smile continued to glow as she listened to Zharya’s introduction and questions. It wasn’t until there was a pause, where Zharya waited for a response from the young kelvic, did her expression change. But Instead of answering her questions right away. Neve’s head lowered as she looked down to the ground, whispering just under her breath. “Zharya, Zharya, Zharya...” She said three times, as if trying to make sure she will never forget the young Konti’s name. Then with a quick snap back up, she looked back at Zharya and said with a smile. “ Zharya, I think your names pretty too. But I’ve always known Kontinese, Skyla Nivan taught me at the kennels.” She replied quickly.

The concept of names still seemed a little fuzzy, for she never really gave her own name much thought. It was a name the opal Order had given her when she was born, and had always responded to when called out. But she liked being complimented and knew it would be rude to not respond back to the kind gesture. But she could not help but stare at Zharya’s hair as she contemplated the response over in her head about how it turned purple. But after a few moments, She knew that she wouldn’t be able to hear an answer that would satisfy her immediate interest and continued to speak.

“Race?” She asked, her head now cocked the other way with a slightly puzzled look. “I like to run and I have had races before.” Neve replied, still looking towards Zharya, puzzled. “But I am not sure what kind of race I would be…” Neve does love to run, but she’s never been asked what kind of race she is. Again, her head lowered as she fell back into deep thought, wondering what a better answer would be. For most other Konti who knew her, had already been told that she’s a kelvic. And the ones who didn’t, normally didn’t really bother to learn, and figured her to be human.

The young Konti Sorceress didn't give the strange human, well at first sight Zha'iva thought it was a human. And she never EVER gave her birth name out to anyone that wasn't a Konti. If she was ever going to just give her name out that human needed to become a good friend. This human did seem interesting though, a bit childish. That wasn't bad though, childish wasn't the worst type of person to Zha'iva.

Slowly, the young Konti reached her left hand to the left and grabbed hold of her back pack. After that she zips the bag open with her right hand and removed a seer's deck of cards from inside the bag. Lifting the deck up slowly she brings it back down and shuffles it with both off her hands. Zha'iva starts to hum "hmmm mmm mm mm." After finishing with her shuffles she rests the deck down onto the snow and looked back up to face the young Human.

The young human didn't seem to understand what Zha'iva meant by race. The young Konti started to giggle, maybe this human wasn't much of a threat after all. Zha'iva began to speak softly again in her native language "No, i mean are you a...Y'know, human?" Zha'iva was curious to know that this female was she really wanted to know. Drawing a card from her seer deck she placed it on the ground.

The card picture was hands holding, meaning friendship. Zha'iva looked shocked, she knew this would mean that she would become that human female's friend. Zha'iva left it there for the human female to see, what would she think of it? Zha'iva didn't expect the human to know anything about what she was doing with the seer cards. If this human really knew more about the Konti race than she probably would have a hint of what she could be doing.

Zha'iva started to talk once again "I don't do this, well i've never done it for a human but this card gives me a good feeling about you, my birth name is Zha'iva. Tell me, where do you come from? And what is it like in other places?" Zha'iva has never left Mura so she wanted to know more about other places.

OOCSorry, this post was rushed on my aunt and uncles PC because i had to leave like, now XD
Neve’s eyes followed Zharya’s left hand as she raised it up and over into her backpack, revealing a bunch of rectangular shaped cards. Intrigued by the item, Neve’s thoughts drifted off into the back of her head as she watched. Upon getting a closer look at the cards that Zharya had been shuffling, Neve realized she had seen them a few times before. It wasn’t all that uncommon for others to use them at the Opal temple. But when Neve would ask if the cards were for a game, they would reply with a no and Neve would generally walk off before hearing the full explanation. However, with Zharya now playing with the cards too, the Kelvic’s interest peaked.

Neve set her hands onto the ground as she leaned slightly forward, wanting to get a better view. Her face showed no real defined emotion, as her eyes carefully followed all of the Konti’s movements, wondering what the purpose of the cards were. But shortly after Zharya had finished shuffling and rested the cards onto the snow, she laughed at Neve in a kind, but amused way. Her soft voice resonated inside of Neve, as she felt herself begin to sink into the Konti’s pace, feeling calmer and more relaxed.

It wasn’t until the Konti’s question reached Neve’s ears did she lift her eyes to Zharya’s face. But before Neve could reply, Zharya continued to speak. The Kelvic’s face turned to a slight frown upon hearing the Konti’s second name. You have to many names… replied Neve, not really thinking about what exactly was said. But as it sunk in, a smile then came across her face once more and she continued But I like it, it sounds prettier then Zharya…Ok! Then I’m going to call you Zha’iva from now on.” She expressed. But I’m not a human. No, no. I’ve been told that I am what everyone calls a Kelvic.” replied Neve, in her usual, slightly upbeat tone.

Neve, still leaning slightly forward, brought her attention back to the cards that rested on the snow. With her face lowered, she continued to answer the Konti’s questions. I’ve always been on mura. But I have heard of other places at the Kennels. There are people from everywhere that go there. But what are these cards for? You seem to like them, I’ve looked at a few of the pictures before…They’re pretty. I like the color. Do you like them because of the pictures too? Continued Neve, her foot moving slightly as she bounced her leg.

What was a Kelvic? Zha'iva still had no idea. Was it like a clan of human females? Was it a group or something? Zha'iva really wanted to know more about these Kelvic people. She's never seen anyone out of the Konti race before. Zha'iva just watched Neve with a huge smile on her face, she was really getting to see something alot of Konti her age doesn't. This young Kelvic sure asked alot of questions but that was alright, Zha'iva one of the peaceful ones of the Timandre family.

Neve didn't know what tarot cards were, she didn't expect the Kelvic to either. To some people all they looked like were "pretty cards" or a card game but it was much more than that. Zha'iva pointed down to the card, she guess she had to explain what she was doing to her new friend. The Timandre really wanted Neve to get something out of what Zha'iva was about to tell her. The Konti would press her pointer onto the hand in hand tarot card and begin to speak again in a voice that would calm anyone down. "This is a tarot card, i'm using something called fortune telling. What i did just now was shuffle the deck and drew a card. This card is your fortune, Neve.

Zha'iva takes a deep breath and then starts to talk again "They do have pretty pictures but i don't like them because of that. I guess you would like to know your fortune now. The card says you're going to make a good friend. I don't know much more than that." Zha'iva hoped she explained it well, she didn't want to leave the Kelvic clueless or confused. Based on her past question she knew there was a chance that Neve would be confused.

"Hmmm so Neve, if you were always here than how come we never met? I'm of the Timandre family. Surely you've heard of us somewhere." Zha'iva knew alot of people in Mura due to her family, they were pretty popular in Mura. Zha'iva starts to rub her white hair again, Neve would notice a tatoo on her right arm. "I would call you family since you've been in Mura all your life."

A question poped up in Zha'iva's head "So tell me more about the Kelvic race if you know anything about them. Are they like a clan of humans or something? A family last name? Sorry if i seem clueless but all of this is new to me."

Neve’s fidgeting came to a halt as she listened to Zha’iva talk. She wasn’t sure why, but her voice seemed soothing to her ears. It was all just such a nice setting, with the light rustling of the wind through the trees, the gentle snow fall that casually fell around them, and the lake, but only a dozen or so yards away. It all just seemed so nice. Neve then realized that she didn’t dislike all the plain white around her, for it was a beautiful gift from Caiyha and Morwen themselves. Neve just longed for somebody to share it with, and she now had that.

My Fortune? she thought to herself, puzzled by the Konti’s words. It’s not that she didn’t have knowledge of such things, but normally it was always a patient at the Opal temple that asked for their fortune. As the sick would normally wonder what would come of their fate. But Neve wasn’t sick, and never really thought about asking what her fortune could be, for Neve had never fallen ill before in her life. But as the Konti continued to explain, Neve’s face loosened from a puzzled expression, to a smile. Well of course I’m going to make a good friend! giggled Neve, as she grabbed hold of Zha’iva’s hand. With her eyes staring directly into Zha’iva’s, and a large smile on Neve’s face. I mean, you said you only told friends your real name, and you told me. And even if you hadn’t, you’re nice, so I think we’d be friends, no matter what the fortune would have said, that’s what I think, I do, I do. She expressed, letting go of her friends’ hands as she re-adjusted the way she sat.

Neve stood up as she tried to wipe off some of the snow off her bum and dress before sitting back down. The snow had begun to melt where she sat and it was most uncomfortable. Bringing both arms down along her legs, she flattened the dress so it wouldn’t ride up as she sat back down on her knees. But upon sitting back down, she heard Zha’iva mention the Timandre family. Neve’s head cocked to the side once more as she looked up towards the sky, her hand resting casually over her mouth once more. As is her usual thinking face and gesture. Mmmm…I’ve heard the name, yep, yep. But I don’t know much about Timandre…Is that ANOTHER name of yours? She continued, wondering just how many names the Konti had.

But as she looked at Zha’iva part her hair casually, Neve noticed a tattoo on her friends arm. Intrigued, Neve’s eyes followed Zha’ivas’ arm as she rested it back down once more. Neve didn’t get the chance to have a good look at it, but for now, she would need to wait to ask her question, for her friend still had some more of her own that she needed answering.

Family? Neve grinned at these words as her entire body straightened up to attention. I kind of have a family too, but more people is always fun. Maybe I can meet your family too! It would be fun I bet, I’m sure they’re all as nice as you. expressed Neve in a happy, upbeat tone. The idea of meeting more people excited Neve, Especially if they were nice, nice people were Neve’s favorite kind. Mmmm…I don’t know why we’ve never seen each other before. I’ve lived in Mura my entire life. But you should visit the temple sometime, or maybe we can go into the forest. The Forest is where I normally go. she said, wondering if Zha’iva had ever ventured into the forest before.

Upon listening to Zha’iva’s question about what a Kelvic was, if they were a clan, or a name of sorts. Neve frowned slightly while in thought. A Kelvic is… She wasn’t completely sure how to respond. Neve had never really seen many other Kelvics before, minus Skyla. Neve knew more of what a kelvic is not, then what a kelvic is. I’m not Human, or Konti…I’m not an Akalak either, they have purple skin, it’s funny She thought, giggling weakly as she recalled an Akalak she had once seen at the Silver lake lodge. Mmm…It would be easier to show you, then to explain it. But I can show you later, I wanna know about what’s on your wrist? Neve said, deflecting slightly as she pointed too her friends wrist. A grin on her face once more as she pondered what it could be.

Neve really was an interesting one. She behaved like a child but Zha'iva could over look that. Maybe the young Timandre could teach Neve more about the Konti if she didn't know much. Still wanting to know more about the Kelvics, Zha'iva put it off for a while. When ever Neve was ready to show Zha she would. Zha'iva's eyes gazing into Neve's now Zha was making full eye contact with the Kelvic.

"So Neve, you think we'd be frienda anyway? I didn't really see this one coming. Probably because i don't read my own fortunes." Thinking off, she never really wanted to know her own fortune. What if something bad were to happen? Neve also wanted to know if Timandre was another one of her names. No it wasn't, it was her family name. But Zha would be happy to tell Neve that. After opening her mouth, Zha let a yawn out and then prepared to speak again. This is the most she's spoken at one time in a while.

"Hmm, no. Timandre is my family's name. And you have a family you say? Are they in Mura? I may know them if they are." Other races didn't live in Mura really. It was rare. Zha'iva moves her right arm, the one that had the tatoo on it. On her arm the tatoo read "Adhira." It was a group of Konti Sorceress. Normally, Zha wouldn't be open about talking about things like this but since she was in Mura it didn't really matter to her. The young Kelvic didn't seem like a danger.

"Neve, the mark on my arm says Adhira." That's the most Zha'iva says at the time. Maybe Neve would want to know more about it. Based on the past few questions Zha prepared to answer any questions that had anything to do with the Adhira. Letting out another yawn placing her left palm against her mouth Zha thinks back to another question Neve asked her. Has she ever been to the forest.

"No Neve, i've actually never been in the forest. Maybe we can go in there sometime." Zha'iva wouldn't admit that she was a tiny bit afraid of the forest. It's something she always kept to herself. But now that she has someone with her maybe she wouldn't mind going into the forest. "But Neve, why go into the forest? I'm curious."
