"Thank you..." Runas smiled slightly as he poured her wine, something she'd wanted to see if he would do. She wondered how he'd treat her after the sun set. Maybe he couldn't get any more courteous, as he was quite polite already.

"I think you'd have to be very, very good at making it happen if it's possible. But there are no Eypharians with eight arms, and only half-Eypharian children have two. Real ones have either four or six." She sighed softly in her displeasure at the continued topic, but when he stated his profession her eyes glittered ominously. "A Knight? Now, that, I'm quite certain isn't true. I'm sorry, Lucas, but I think you're too young to be a full Knight. So... You're a Squire, or an older Page." She wasn't certain if her terminology, but she didn't care. "Now, an artistic Knight-to-be is not something I've seen much of. What form of art do you prefer? I play the harp."

Her smile only widened at the expression he gave her after she mentioned spending the night with her. She wouldn't have thought they were sharing a bed, however, as she slept outside Syliras on most nights in a tent, but she would have had no aversion to him buying a room somewhere after she had her amusement with him. If he was interesting enough, that was.

"After we eat, we should leave and go somewhere private where we can talk for a few bells. I don't usually enjoy my time inside Syliras unless I'm doing something I enjoy." She lifted a gilded hand to her glass and took a drink of it. Not one of those dainty sips that some women were fond of. She figured that if she wanted to have wine, she might as well as enjoy it however she wanted until the time came when she wouldn't enjoy it at all. After placing down her glass, she ate some more of her fruit, watching him out of dark green eyes.
All the heavens cried when the angels fell.

The Rearing Stallion: Aren't You a Little Young? (Lucas)

„I’m not a page!“ Lucas complained. He sounded a little offended. „I’m seventeen. At seventeen you are a squire and almost a knight. The quest usually takes place when you are eighteen.“ He tried to sait a little straighter and raised his head a bit to make himself look a little taller. Maybe she would believe him that he was really almost a knight then. „I draw, and I play the lute. I’m reasonably good at both.“

He really was comparatively good at drawing – better than he was at all those knightly things in fact - but his skill with the lute left something to be desired. He had once gone to a tavern to play for the patrons and earn a lot of money, but it had only resulted in them bombarding him with foul eggs and rotten vegetables.

„You play the harp?“ he asked, wondering if she used all her six arms when she was playing. „I’d love to hear you play sometimes.“ He smiled at her, and then he concentrated on his food for a little bit, because he suddenly wanted to be done with it faster. Runas would most likely be pleased to notice that he had dropped the topic of Eypharian arms (although he was still secretly thinking about it – he was really tempted to try and transform himself into an Eypharian now).

„I agree that we should leave and go somewhere private“, he said to her. He had recovered from his shock somewhat. His eyes looked normal again, and his mouth was closed, but his cheeks were still a little redder than they normally were. „Are you doing something that you enjoy now, Tawna?“ he wanted to know.

"I don't believe I called you a page, Lucas." Runas said coolly, chiding him with a small smile as she continued to eat, speaking when her mouth was empty to avoid the unsightly appearance of speaking through a mouthful of food. "You should play the lute for me one day, if you are able to. Or draw me something." Her eyes glittered even more intently after she had spoken.

"Yes... I took up the harp during my stay in Mura." She allowed herself to divulge a piece of her past. She'd not done so in a few years. It would be amusing to see if he knew of the beautiful isle. To her, Mura and Lhavit were the closest in appearance -when combined of course- to that divine realm she had tumbled so carelessly from. "A Konti put the idea into my head. She said that music was soothing and that it would stop me from being so angry all the time." A quiet chuckle floated softly passed her lips.

A much more sinister, playful smirk curved her gilded lips slowly as he agreed with her, and she finished her fruit at a painfully slow pace, drawing out the meal. "I figured that you would agree, Lucas... But don't eat too fast. You have to let your food settle, and it will take longer, I'm certain, if you stuff your face like that. I only want to be out of here before sunset. I think we have time."

„You mentioned something about a page though!“ Lucas insisted. The words came out sounding a bit weird since he still had a bit of food stuffed into his cheeks. „Sorry“, he murmurred as he realized that he’d eaten and talked at the same time and quickly swallowed. „I have bad manners today, but I assure you I don’t normally have bad manners! And I could certainly play the lute for you. I could also draw you. I would love to do a portrait of such a beautiful woman. When I’m done, I would give the drawing to you as a gift.“

He smiled as he said this. Women liked when you offered to paint them and called them beautiful, right?

„Mura?“ he asked. „That’s where all the Konti are, right?“ The Konti fascinated him. They were so beautiful and gentle, and they were an all female race. He often wondered what they did when they were alone. Since there were no male Konti, did that mean they were all lesbians and only were together with men when they wanted children? For a moment he was almost tempted to ask Runas that, but even he realized that the question would be inappropriate.

Instead he wanted to know, „Did it stop you from being angry?“

As she advised him not to eat too fast, he looked very, very embarrassed, but then he nodded and made sure to eat slowly and chew each bite carefully. He also tried not to talk and eat at the same time anymore. He wanted to please her.

„Why do you want to be out here before sunset?“ he asked.

Runas couldn't help but laugh at the gross display at what he was eating. It both repulsed and amused her, and kept her attention directly on him. She continued to eat, of course. She wanted to finish her food quickly as well, but she had to follow the advice she'd dispensed for this harried boy before her.

"I don't mind bad manners, Lucas, but I like the fact that you can admit you have them." A smile curved her gilded lips again. He was doing quite well at flattering her. "I would love that, squire... No one has given me a picture they created themselves before. I would appreciate it greatly."

At his questions about Mura, she nodded and smiled again. She would have been surprised, had he not shown a deference to women. "The Konti, yes, but so do some members of other races. Some travel as well. There have been rumours that there are Konti here, in fact."

His next question made her pause, and shrug. Was she still angry? There was always anger, but now she'd directed it to other things. Emotions could fuel her music, could coax her into taunting and making tools out of men. She wrote to lay down her memories from her former life, so she wouldn't be as angry as she had been in the beginning, and so she would not go insane. She was probably insane anyway. Like, look at her trying to seduce a young man.

"I just don't want to be... Gaped at." She said uncertainly. "I like privacy when I'm with people." She smiled again afterwards. "Tell me, do you like living in Syliras?"

The Rearing Stallion: Aren't You a Little Young? (Lucas)

Lucas looked at Runas a little strangely as she told him that she liked the fact that he could admit he had bad manners. So she didn’t mind if he spoke with a full mouth? That was unusual! If it weren’t for the fact that she she admitted that she’d love to be painted, he would likely have pondered the issue a bit longer as it seemed quite interesting. But as it was, he informed her, „I could paint your portrait right after we are done! I’ll even sign it if you want so that you’ll always remember who you got it from!“ He grinned. It would be just as if he were a real artist!

„There are Konti here?“ he asked and his eyes widened. He had yet to meet one of them. For a moment he wondered if he should go looking for Konti, but then he remembered that they were an all female race and that they likely wouldn’t be particularly interested in a man. He wasn’t sure what he was supposed to do with a potential lesbian that had all kinds of visions. He didn’t want them to tell him what the future had in store for him or what a bad boy he had been in the past.

„I won’t gape at you!“ he assured her. Of course he didn’t have any idea that she had horns and was even more beautiful than she was now for about half the time. „And I’ll give you all the privacy that you want!“

As she asked him if he liked living in Syliras, he furrowed his brow a little and made a face. He didn’t look entirely happy. „I’m not sure“, he murmurred. „I mean, Syliras is a nice city, and it’s very safe here. I’ve never had to fear for my life, and I kind of want to become a knight. But sometimes it’s also a little boring, if you know what I mean. I’d like to visit another city sometimes, meet other races, get to know other cultures. But I don’t think they’d let me leave if I asked. As a squire I’m pretty much forced to stay here.“

Secret :
Ha, what can I say, Lucas asks questions and people just love to answer them, even if they're not completely the truth. I though some seduction was noteworthy here, although it's more of boyish charm than Don Juanisms.
