Distrustfully, he watched as the crowd parted around her, clearing a path to her destination. She was young, younger than those who milled about her despite her command over them. Young and he did not know a thing about her.

Or about this place they landed in. A faint smell of mildew and ink lingered in the air and the sound of rustling papers and soft whispers reached his ear. It was still well-lit, despite the lack of windows. The room could be underground for all he knew--Laute's senses were useless in this room. A quick observation informed him that there were no exits from this room, oddly enough. Perhaps the only way in and out was through this circle he stood but he knew not of how to activate it.

Unable to detect if there was any danger here, he gritted his teeth before finally making a move.

He would have to follow the woman, then. Just as the others who arrived with him did. Making sure Aditi was beside him as he moved, he kept alert as they walked behind her. As it was, he didn't like the chances he had in this room--there were too many for him to take out should an attack occur. And if an attack were to happen from an outside source, there was no room to maneuver between people and the papers.

Facing forward once more, he watched as a door sprang from the brick wall, as though drawn there by an invisible hand. It opened without a word, silently swinging on his hinges, and he watched as the others stepped through eagerly. They trusted her too easily, he thought as he watched them enter the room.

Not that he was much better. Driven by curiosity, he cautiously approached the door.

A single hand glided over the wooden surface, his hand on the knob. A real door, then. Alvadas had a way of surprising him and this was just the latest trick played on him. The others seemed safe enough inside and as they sat down, he crossed the threshold. Aditi wasn't far behind him as they entered the rabbit hole.

The door closed behind him and he stared at it for a moment, before ignoring it. Laute had long since learned the buildings had personalities of their own and the door wouldn't open until it was inclined to. Instead, he focused on the room itself and its inhabitants.

It was surprisingly dark in the room, though that didn't seem to bother anyone. A trick of the light, then, most likely. His feet sank into the plush carpet as he walked to the table. The walls were draped with cloth and unless there was another door under all that purple, there was only one entrance.

One exit.

The seat closest to the door was taken and he moved to the other side of the table. At the very least he could keep an eye on the door, then. Motioning to his slave to sit, he remained standing, not quite comfortable with sitting around a small table.

It seemed he had no choice in the matter. In a blink he found himself sitting, the chair tall enough for him to easily stretch his legs. Despite his efforts, he was unable to rise, and with a hiss he resigned himself to his fate.

Tea rose in the delicate cups and small mounds of biscuits appeared near his hands. Waiting until the woman ate, he then nodded to Aditi's questioning gaze, allowing her to sip the tea set before her.

The woman's words were long to the point. In essence, the city was being attacked by illusions. Solid illusions, but illusions all the same.

But that didn't tell him much. Who caused these illusions? How? Why? Did the woman in green work alone, or with a group? A curious beast, questions formed in his mind one after another at her words. If this was all she knew, then it was next to nothing.

As the door opened, he sipped the tea himself. It was still warm, pleasantly slipping down his throat, brushing his taste buds with a hint of jasmine. The biscuit was better, crumbling easily as he bit into the pastry. Listening to the exchange in front of him, he continued sampling the wares in front of him.

With the chaos above being what it was, his next meal might be harder to find.

At the sound of a dragged chair he looked up, taking note of the new man who entered the room with nary a sound. An arrogant man, overly confident in his power, he sat down with a thin smile. As he spoke, Laute felt his words slip in his ears like poison. A dangerous man to cross, then.

At the man's words, he gave a derisive snort and finally spoke. "It doesn't seem like you're capable of much up there." The woman had left by the time they were brought here--there was no saving done in the least. If this was a staged scene, it was poorly done.

Paying the man no more mind after that, he waited as the woman--Alluvia, if the man was to be trusted--returned to her position. It seemed the time for serious conversation had started and Laute was bored of waiting.

"What do you want from us?" he asked Alluvia.

Alric remained leaning behind his column, wiping away the blood that flowed over his eyes and taking deep breaths. He clutched the bolt he had plucked from the pillar with fumbling hands, his knuckles turning white from the effort. He was exhausted, and didn't know if he could survive anymore excitement. He slid down to his haunches, and attempted to catch his breath.

What was going on? It was not the first time the thought had entered his head, and it was not going to be the last. He had stuck around this long because his curiosity had bid him to stay. After all, he wanted to learn everything, to understand it. And to understand something, one had to experience it. And so he stayed. However, he was beginning to think, that understanding everything was quite useless if you were dead. And if he continued as he was, he was quite sure that would be the outcome.

The air was filled with a sharp whistle, bringing Alric to attention.

"I'm alive, if anyone was wondering."

Alric did not recognize the voice. But it was male, which indicted that it was most likely one of his makeshift companions. Or, at least, he hoped it was one of them. He decided to take the chance, the blood loss possibly helping him make the decision.

"H-hello? Who's there?" Alric's voice was hoarse, and his throat hurt. He didn't want to continue to speak, but if they were an ally, then he wanted them to know where he was at least. "Are all the golems gone? Finally? Please, tell me they're gone." He stopped speaking then, the blood dripping down to his mouth prevented him from doing so. He gave out a sigh, and decided that since his outfit was ruined anyway, it didn't matter if he tore them a bit. The blood stains wouldn't be coming out any time soon anyway.

He tore at his frilly sleeves and ripped them up to create more makeshift bandages. Alric did not know much about medicine, but he thought some more pressure on the bleeding might stop it. Or, failing that, the added bandages would soak up enough of the excess blood that it would cease bothering him for a few more minutes.

Jaeden looked to the front and rear of the group, seeing the large massing number of golems closing in on them. He looked for paths of least resistance. With on of the group he was with injured, Kamalia already having exhausted some of her energies, a child and his female guardian(while ferocious and determined looking) who seemed not to be a full strength herself, it left Red and Jaeden who were at essentially most ready for confrontation. And while Jaeden trusted Red above all others to have his back in a fight, this was a confrontation that was essentially alien to her. She kicked hard, that was true enough, but there was a hesitation in her to directly confront a construct made out of metals. Chances were, she would only lose any hesitation if Jaeden’s safety was at stake, and then only to take a hit for him. Which is something he didn’t want in the end.

Jaeden slowly raised his sword up at the smaller group of golems, his gaze shifting over the numbers. His ear then twitched at the sudden bellow of laugher from above. Jaeden slowly looked up to see the medium, stocky build dive striking into the pit of the main group. Scraps of metal and battle cries then ensued as the Myrian slashed his way through hoards. “Well,” Red said with a pause to look over the onslaught, “he seems energetic.”

“He also seems like a berserker.” Jaeden said, giving an exhale. “Don’t get too close. He may seem like help, but he’s diving into this for the sheer enjoyment of battle alone. He’s liable to take your head off and then say, “Petch off, get your own you twat” before using your corpse as a springboard.”

“So we go the opposite direction?” Red then asked.

“Around.” Jaeden simply said as he began to move forward, looking to the others. “Watch the flanks. I’ll try cutting us a path through their thinnest parts, but I’ll need the rest of you to try and keep us from getting surrounded.”

Jaeden and Red then moved forward, their cohesiveness and time spent together showing as they moved forward, side by side. As they approached the first golem, slightly separated from the bulk, Red gave a small leap upward. Jaeden’s hand swept under her feet, catching them in his palm as he anchored his feet for a moment, lunching her upward. Red pushed off with her legs while doing so as well, he body leaping over the golem as she landed behind it. Her foot quickly swung around, the heal thrust firmly into the knee joint of the golem, focusing her smaller attacks on the weak points announced.

The joint broke under the pressure, as Red began to spin around the side of the golem while it began dropping to one knee, starting to focus on her. Jaeden’s attack came next, his body leaning forward as heavy steps brought him rushing towards the injured construct. His sword thrust forward, piercing through the neck joint of the golem. Metal scratching along metal then cried out as Jaeden’s sword was then turn, cutting through the neck metal of the golem, before a quick twist of the blade sent the head of the construct popping off.

“Okay, that’s one down!” Jaeden said in a moment of victory.

Then Jaeden looked to see how many more were left, and the numbers that had turned their attention towards him and Red. “Aw shyke.” Jaeden grumbled looking to Red. “I’ve the feeling this is going to be a long day.”

Petch, he cursed, dark eyes scouring over yet another wave of the golems, their heavy metal plates clanking, sooty discs of iron jouncing, bronze gears harshly grating, squealing in a simulacra of anger, lead pipes beating on the rocks. He lurched back, grimacing as he turned the barb of a spear with his shield, whirling away from another that swept just by his ear, nicking the flesh. There was a surge of agony in his shoulder, ruddy smears leaking from the joint, wetly pooling in his gauntlets. The elbow began to dip again, but he didn’t force it back up again, just let the arm hang lankly.

Reluctantly, he began to yield ground, trying to lure the golems away from the boy.

And then, there was slither of cloth, metal, leather, taking over the sky. The crack of rocks, erupting away in jagged shards, carrying twisted edges of metal, bent wires. He coughed, bending away from a spear, and swept out the leg joints, swaying slightly as he danced back. There was a jarring scrape, yet another spear dragging at his skirt of scales, delving to rend at the layer of leather, send yet another bead of blood coursing down his thigh. The smoke cleared, and he vaguely gazed upon a braid of jet, the tawny skin and hard, coppery eyes of a warrior who wasn’t just wrecking the golems with his large sword, but crushing them with his hands. The man was faster, stronger than anybody he’d ever fought, and he was presently ringed by scorched, devastated heaps of rubble, twisted cogs and plates of metal.

Ulric clenched his jaw, began to slough away, knowing that he couldn’t keep dredging up reserves of energy. He lashed out, crunching the edge of his axe through the neck joint of a golem, and went low, driving a pauldron just above the knee joint, so the thing crashed over. The impact sent another jolt of agony through his other shoulder. “Keep away,” he growled, breaking from the fighting to stand just before Naama, Squirt, and the Konti sorceress.

He was weary.

For now, he’d just be a spectator.

Postby Antar on January 17th, 2012, 11:04 pm

Standing on the lump of mishapen rock and rubble glassed over from the initial fires and explosions which rocked the temple, all antar could do was sit and breathe heavily, and think.

Time.

Voices...

Voices... not the whispers...

...Relief...

If the two others were alive and talking, that meant the golems were destroyed, and perchance the man who had been taking cover behind the stalagmite might still be alive somehow. His throat felt parched, dry, and as the others continued speaking he would not answer them. Instead he would reach one handedly to his belt and pull out his waterskin to take a long stout drink before another pocket of his belt pouch would be drawn a bit of salted meat to tear at and gnaw upon.

When one was close to overgiving, it was important to eat, drink and conserve energy as much as possible in ones movements, just as if with severe exhaustion, even if exhaustion wasn't a clear cut sign of cusping the ledge into overgiving. Reaching down towards the ash he coated a thumb in blackened coal and began to draw a series of crude glyphs upon his forehead, and at his temples, things which would help remind him of calm. It didn't take long, it was a crude display of sorts, but it might help his mind should any of the whispers begin to speak.

But what of the other mages?

Trudging, and half stumbling down the slope, Antar would reach Alric's side and pull him to his feet. He could see the blood from his mouth dripping, and would push him to stand back against the pillar, and take note of the man's predicament as two fingers pressed into Alric's neck to take his pulse. The man's eyes were dilated slightly and even though he wasn't much inclined to speak, Antar's lips would stumble out the words, "Close eyes, rinse then drink. Don't use any more djed."

Tilting Alric's head up via force, he would pour some water from his waterskin across Alric's eyes, which seemed almost red, and then a bit into Alric's mouth, allowing him to spit and clear out the blood a few times before Antar would see him guzzle a bit down. The rogue would stop him before he drank too much and press a bit of the rations into the other mages hands, telling him to eat before he brought Alric's arm about his shoulders and half dragged the mage towards where he'd find the dhani, Along the way he handed the oversized crossbow mechanism towards Alric, and had him hold onto it.

When he got there, he saw Nyahna was still half-covered in rubble , yet rising to his feet. "Good to see someone else alive, you're rather useful to have around. you know" he'd croak out before reaching out a hand to help pull Nyanha up. Antar would grunt with effort to shove the rest off of him as the dhani regained his feet, so to speak. He wasn't quite sure what Nyahna was, as he never met a dhani; only heard vague rumors about them.

Whatever the case, nyahna in dhani form was rather large, and that counted for something. He'd hand over his waterskin to let the man drink a little too before looking for Shale.

Antar would spot the man taking shelter behind a column and the three would soon become four and soon the introductions went around. To speed the intro's up; since I hate short posts.

"Anthony."
"Alric, as I said before."
"Sassin... Nyahna Sassin well met I guess. I should of stayed asleep."
"Shale."

He'd kneel down to take a look at the arrow piercing the kelvic's shoulder, the man was looking at him strangely, yet with a feral grin, just wheezing, as Antar appraised the wound with what little experience with arrow wounds he had... which equated to rather alot. "You need a surgeon to get this out, its pierced the lung. I could pull it out but I don't have any needle or thread to sew you up. Nor would cauterization fix your lung... it's deflated. Best I can do is bandage it to hold it in place until we find a doctor. If we can do that- you should live so long as there's no infection. Make them use honey; its the best for organ damage."

Taking a strip from Alric's shirt, as the man had already ripped it into rags, Antar would bind the arrow in place as he asked Shale a rather interesting question for the kelvic to answer. "If you can Shale, Can you tell us a little of what happened here, and what you were in the temple for?"
"I am the Shadow and the smoke in your eyes, I am the ghost that hides in the night."

More and more crossbow bolts were being accumulated on the scrapped golem that Bob was holding up with his body as he tried to figure out how the crossbow worked. It was like any other crossbow but Bob was actually so suspicious of the golems that he thought there was some advanced way to work it. Again more bolts pierced the golem's body and the pressure just made it harder for the midget to hold it up. Fortunately, Bob has toyed around with mechanical weapons before and saw the way Xalet handled his own crossbow in the past. With his knowledge he identified the firing mechanism at last and aimed at the golem that was firing at him but with the bolts coming at him he ducked back behind the body over and over right until he noticed that the time it took for the golem to reload was almost like clockwork. Right on cue at its next attempt Bob held the crossbow straight and fired completely missing the mark when his bolt hit another golem.

"No one is even looking or I can say I am a sort of hero..." he complained to himself as he got ready to fire another shot. At the chance Bob peeped out and pulled the trigger again at the golem but nothing came out. "Petch, I need to reload!" he screamed out just as another bolt smashed into the chest of the golem he was using for protection. It was not going to hold out long enough until Bob needed to make his escape. He grabbed one of the bolts from the ground which did not hit, staring back and forth between it and the crossbow to figure out how to reload it settling for just putting the bolt on the top of the crossbow before going for another shot. Again nothing happened forcing Bob to hide behind the golem to think what he was supposed to do. "I know that its supposed to go here..." like he has seen it so many times and another bolt pushing the golem he was using for cover reminded him about the situation that he was in.

While he was looking at his attacker, Bob toyed with the idea of making peace since it was Ulric who pissed on the statue but then he remembered that he already had a fight with the creator in a very entertaining way "but that idea is out..." It was then he saw the way the golem was reloading. It did put the bolt at the same spot that Bob did but before that it was pushing a button and pulling back the string "of course..." He would have hit himself right there and then if the golem was not going to do worse to him. Trying to mimic the motions, Bob recited that "I have to push the button here..." but there was no button. Only some weird thingy which Bob flapped around until it clicked both on the crossbow and in his head that there has to be something which the trigger affects. The next step proved even harder. Even with Bob's slightly trained body through akalak methods it was not enough to even pull back the string which the stronger golem could do so easily.

Finally with the help of his legs to whole the crossbow in place so that Bob could use all his strength to pull back the string, it was "time for you to get scrapped!" he announced taking aim at the golem while it was reloading. He just wanted to shoot that golem so much that as soon as it was right in between the stretch at the front of the weapon, he immediately fired. It was so in his mad battle rush, Bob flinched and the bolt flew away again hitting nothing at all. "Enough!" he yelled and took a step forward to charge. With him he pushed the golem body he was using as protection as a shield while the other was still shooting. Once he was close enough, Bob gave a grunt as he threw the body forward at the golem as a distraction and after that giving an overhanded throw with the crossbow at the head since it was nothing more than a "useless weapon" in his hands. While the golem was recovering from that assault and trying to get unpinned from the body, Bob took the chance to escape. "Better luck next time!'

And next time would come way too soon if Bob was together with everyone else. It was Ulric who triggered this golem attack and therefore Ulric who is the target, he hoped. Keeping in line with his intentions, Bob looked around for the vagik who is already with a party of his own. There were at least two others that he could identify on the ship ride but Bob did not know them well enough to trust them and the others he was with were all gone. He was alone and that suited him perfectly as he headed to the opposite direction, around the battle crazed myrian who was now at the center of a mess of wrecked, ruined and destroyed golems. At least he had most of their attention now. Once the battle was done with either side gone, Bob will go and try to work on his escape.

Postby Alric Wilmot on January 23rd, 2012, 12:37 am

Alric felt dizzy, and thought that he might pass out at any second. Despite this, however, he was glad to note that his makeshift bandages had done their job and prevented anymore blood from seeping out. Although, Alric speculated that part of the reason was that he had ceased using magic. Which might have been the reason his bleeding had worsened in the first place. His musings were brief, and sporadic due to his injuries. And, in the end, he was fading in and out of consciousness.

However, much to Alric's relief, he was saved by the white-haired man from before. The man pulled Alric to his feet, and helped him support himself. Alric wanted to thank the man, but he was just so tired. It took almost all his effort to keep his eyes open, and remain standing. Alric could feel two fingers on his neck. Apparently, the man was checking for a pulse. Alric might have laughed if he had the energy, who would have ever thought that he would be in this predicament?

The man spoke then while Alric was wishing he could laugh despite his dire circumstances,"Close eyes, rinse then drink. Don't use any more djed."

With that, the man tilted Alric's head by force. Although Alric offered no resistance. Alric felt the cool water being poured onto his face, and closed his eyes reflexively as the liquid stung his eyes. He spit out the first bit of water that was poured into his mouth, though he greedily gulped it down when he was given the water skin. Although Alric still felt rather poorly, he no longer felt as though he where at death's door. His savior pulled the waterskin away before Alric guzzled down all of the water. Afterward, Alric was given some flavorless rations, that honestly tasted wretchedly. But Alric didn't mind, he wasn't eating slowly enough to taste them anyway.

With that finished with, the man half-dragged him toward the Dhani from earlier. Along the way, Alric felt a large heavy object being forced into his hands. He was surprised to see one of the golems' crossbow mechanisms. Antar left Alric then, to help the Dhani. He said something to him, but Alric couldn't catch it. Alric and his new-found cohorts then went over to Shale, who was resting behind a column. Alric sat on the floor as introductions were made.

The man, it turned out, was named Antar. The Dhani was named Nyahna Sassin. And they all seemed as exhausted as Alric himself. Although, Alric was quick to notice, he was far from the worst off. Shale had an arrow piercing his back. Despite Antar's knowledge of arrows, and the injures they made, he declared that he could not help Shale at that moment, and that he'd have to make due. Alric was suddenly very glad that he had hid for the majority of the encounter.

Antar took a strip from what what remained of Alric's ragged shirt, and used it to patch up Shale just a bit. So he could hold out until a professional with the right tools was available. Alric didn't bother to speak up. His shirt was ruined anyway, and it might as well prove useful. As Antar finished, he asked what Alric had been wondering since he woke up this morning.

"If you can Shale, Can you tell us a little of what happened here, and what you were in the temple for?"

Ryce watched as the dog offensively devoured his regurgitation. After hissing, he made his way off of Verlyna's lap and over the arm of the chair. Easy enough, he dropped to the ground with a small thud and immediately went into smelling the area. The lady in the green dress, who had noticed him and caused his sudden unnerving movement from across the room. Spokeand as she did so she held a certain sense of importance in the eyes of the ferret compared to everyone else in the room.

For the others in the room were listening with intent and excitement in her words. Ryce felt drawn to this certain power and leadership she was holding over everyone that filled the place, other than the mindless dog as it now lay at the base of Verlyna's feet. As the short moment passed the ferret became restless with the crew, it was time for him to release some reserved energy.

As he started small bounces soon lead to full hops. Small circles lead to larger as the kelvic hopped around, and then twisting and turning as he went through the air. He dooked as he did so sounding just as such small quick clicks repetitively.

"Dook, dook, dook, dook"

Halting in his hopping, immediately he hit a dead sprint, back and forth on a small portion of ground the ferret ran as quickly as he could. Thoroughly enjoying himself he continued for a few short moments, and as he began to slightly tire. The ferret suddenyl plopped on the ground coming to a skid along the way until his momentum had ended. Breathing heavy the ferret laid his head down; now enjoying the cool floor mixed with the sudden rush of warmth provided by the fireplace, after a small sigh he perked up and gazed at Drysalla.

The Department of Illusion

Alluvia would wait as everyone stated their questions, opinions, and assessments of the situation. This whole situation has been a mess. Shaking her head, she turned to the young man, who really was about her same age, when he challenged her with a silly request. She guessed humoring him couldn’t hurt. ”You say that you met two individuals with interesting abilities. Why, I would have to hear more about them to determine if they share the same gift which I possess.” she said, ”But we are far beyond childish games and parlor tricks” she waved a hand as if dismissing the challenge, but in response the ball ice split apart, growing wings, and split apart, again and again and again the ice was split at the same time growing little fae-like wings of water. The ball presented to her was no longer ice, or no longer existent, but turned into dozens of tiny little butterflies that fluttered about the room, glowing slightly in all their wonder, born from the mind of Alluvia herself. That was the illusion she wove, and then they all gathered at a single point above Miros head and once more turned into the ball of ice, the illusion dismissed from mind.

”What do I want from you? What can you do to help?” she asked looking at all of them, ”Alvadas is under attack.” she stated, ”and to fight we need something as strong as the enemy.” she said boldly, ”We have reports on that the illusionary integrity of the city has been tainted. We can only assume that this is due to whoever is attacking the city. You see, the Department of Illusions monitors the illusionary quality of the city. It is there job to know the in’s and out’s of Illusions, their purpose, their power. Not one illusion is crafted within Alvadas without the Department knowing.” she stated the truth as she knew it.

Getting to the point she smiled, ”This is the most interesting thing about this is there seems to be a kind of rift forming between the Illusions of the city and reality.” she tried to explain, but was cut off.

”This rift.” Corenlius interjected ”Is the result of an extremely powerful illusionist. Reports from the Department agents who have infiltrated the illusionary anomaly state that it is as if another world was created between and within the Illusions of Alvadas. Although there are no physical changes with the city thus far reading indicate that this new illusion is highly adaptive and slowly leaking into Alvadas, becoming a part of it. If this happens then there is no telling what might befall the city.” he fell silent once more, again looking to his nails as if he were bored of this conversation. He did not know why they needed outside help, especially from this trash, but if Alluvia says so…

”Right.” Alluvia picked up where the Head of the Department left off, ”Thank you Corenilus.” she said, ”So, as I was saying,” she smiled taking another sip of the tea, ”We have to stop this rift from forming any more. To do that we need to find the illusionist who is casing such an illusion and put an end to the person.” she explained, ”First though, we need to stop the exponential expansion of the illusion. This is where you can help us, and your first task comes in.” she pushed her chair to the side revealing a door behind her, which may or may not have been there before, ”Beyond that door is an ancient place called the Ristage Caverns.” she explained, looking at the door briefly before back at them, ”Deep within the passageways you will find the four.” she said cryptically, ”The four beings of such myth and legend that it is said they are able to destroy in a single blow. Ap of the Water, Vayu of the Wind, Prithvi of the Earth, and Agni of the Fire, they are four beings which reside in the Caverns. I need all of you” she said looking at each and every one of them present, ”To go petition for their help to stop the growing rift within the city.” she told them, ”Will you do this?” she asked the group before turning to Illiana.

”You girl.” she said with a smile, getting up and grabbing her by the wrist, dragging her out of the chair, ”I have something special for you to do.” She told her before leading her to the door and pushing her out of the meeting room back into the main department of illusion. Sighing a little knowing that Illiana would be nice and taken care of, she sat down, and if the people present have not answered her she would look at them expectantly. ”Please, feel free to take a biscuit with you on the way out.” she would say if they agreed or not to the quest which she is sending them on.

OOCFeel free to agree or disagree. If you agree feel free to venture though the door behind Alluvia and go to the caverns. If you have more questions for her don’t be afraid to ask them :) Ill answer them in the next post

The Temple

The malediction master would nod to Eridanus when he accepted his quest. What a nice change of pace. There would be a silent laughter in his eyes as he watched the man depart. ”May the Sealed Grounds treat you right.” he said after the pair, the eth and the pycon. ”This is going to be fun Menna. he said, ”Go on, I know you want to go.” he told her, watching the girl as she nodded and once again disappeared by the gift of Illusionism and a little help from a power all her own.

The girl would follow silently behind Eridanus, observing his movements and then catching eye of the two other people going towards the school. Seeing the limp girl in the mans hands Menna would let out a gasp, silenced by her shields. Clutching her doll closer to her she went up closer to the limb body and poked at it. Seeing the wound she looked up at it, ”She is hurt.” she said, and then she brought her teddy bear up to the woman and waggled it in front of her face before eventually letting it touch unconscious Sym. Nothing… Frowning Menna continued to follow behind the group.

Soon enough they would be brought to the entrance of the blown up temple. Debris thrown everywhere and golem bodies mingled with humans, it was utter chaos, and just beyond the doors Eridanus and the group would find Antar, Shale and the group with them…

The kelvic would jerk a little bit as Antar used the piece of the shirt to patch him up a bit, ”I came here in search of the Womiyu.” he coughed and looked down at the red substance that came out, ”I didn’t expect this place to be targeted.” he told them, trying to get up, ”The Womiyu lays under this temple.” he said looking at the destruction which abounded from this place, the bodies, the gore, and the horror, ”I have to find it.” he said stumbling over to a wall. Knocking on it, nothing happened, and so he moved on. His hand traced the walls edges and soon enough he could find an inverted triangle carved into one of the lower bricks. Kicking it with a grunt the wall would shake and then altogether disappear revealing the entrance, ”The Womiyu holds the secrets of the bones.” he gargled stumbling down the stairs expecting the group to follow him, ”I came here in my search for the bones of Drysalla.” he explained, walking down the stairway, it twisted and turned in random directions, even some stairs going up before dipping back down, though all the same even when they were walking ‘up’ the stairway the light from the Temple doorway would get dimmer and dimmer, smaller and smaller, and so even if they are perceiving that they are walking up they are really going down. Interesting indeed.

Soon enough the group would find themselves in the first level of the Womiyu, the home of the silencers. Creepy and grotesque painted would be hanging on the walls of dull grey stone as the stairs lead them further into the headquarters of Alvadas’ infamous guard. Leaning against the wall to support himself Shale would grin, ”We made it.” he said, ”The Womiyu, our first destination.” he coughed again, groaning in pain from the arrow. Steps, click, clank, steps could be heard coming through the halls soon followed by figures, ”Master Shale” they rushed to him, ”What happened?” one of them asked as two others helped him further into the building. A doorway would be present in the hallway and they would enter setting Shale gently down on a stool, ”We will get someone in here right away” another said and rushed out of the room to fetch a healer. The other two would stay with the kelvic.

”Now,” Shale said trying to get out his last commands, ”I came here in search of passageway to the Sealed Grounds. Within there are the bones of Drysalla, but that is only half of the mission. We also needs bones of the fabled hypnotist Verlyna. Go to the Sealed Grounds in my behalf. Collect the bones.” He said "Ill wait here. Recover..."

"We can escort you to the edge of the Womiyu" one of the two other people watching Shale declared. "But that is as far as we go.' He nodded, "There are dangerous things beyond and we dont really want to get tangled up where ever you are going, but first you all should rest. Eat, drink, looks like you have been through a lot up there." If the group accepted the offer or not food and drink would still be brought into the room. Perhaps they would take the time to discuss the current situation

oocFeel free to make up whatever food you'd like :) Make it typical of Alvadas and just have fun with it. Get caught up and introduced properly, for next week the ball starts rolling again
