Akalak Question

What age range is "normal" for an Akalak's darker soul to emerge? I know they can appear early while they are infants. I also know they can appear late, making the struggle for dominance much more difficult.

It really depends on the individual. They should be well and emerged by their manhood rites to be honest. They can be born with both souls very evident. The more these two souls share the body and get along, the healthier the Akalak is. The 'dark' soul isn't evil, per say, its just less restrained and often opposite of whatever the more dominant soul is. If the dominant soul is a neat-nick, the darker one will most likely be something of a slob, etc. That's why they tend to be considered darker souls.
