Personality As soft spoken as her appearance suggests, Naila is one who dislikes any form of conflict. Her voice is rarely raised for any reason, and the girl is never one to judge based on first impressions. She always tries to see the good in people, sometimes foolishly devoted to her ideal that everyone is kind on the inside, and this philosophy is what guides many of her actions. Her kindness knows no bounds, and her generosity borders on an obsession. Perhaps in part due to her own weakness, Naila does not wish to see anyone suffer in any way. One has but to ask and the girl shall give up the last of her food, or even the clothing on her back if she believed it would silence the voices of despair from within the persons soul.
No one is quite sure why, but Naila has always been stricken with a weak constitution. Prone to sickness and tired easily, Naila spends much of her time reading or writing poetry in the gardens around Mura. Her body is fragile, and sometimes even the effort of standing to walk is enough to cause her to go pale and tremble. Some impart this weakness to her gift, and others believe that the use of Divination may have caused her bad health. However, no one knows for certain, for despite all of her physical imparities Naila still posses a mind like a steal trap. She is quick to pick up on many things, and her love of reading sees to it that she has plenty of knowledge on various subjects. Always up for a good conversation, Naila welcomes open discussion on any subject, unless that subject may lead to another’s pain.
Frailty Ever since she was young Naila has suffered from many illnesses. She tires easily, and the girl often has to sit and rest after even a short stroll in the sun. However, at night when the moon is shinning Naila finds that her body seems to have a bit more energy. Perhaps it is due to the cooler temperatures or the softer light, but the girl can often be seen strolling the waters edge by moonlight.
Despite her weakness Naila still believes that she can better herself, and so she practices her small amounts of magic on a daily basis. At times she takes things a bit too far, falling into fits of coughing so heavy that blood speckles her palms. Over giving is an easy thing for frail Konti and so she must be careful with even the most menial of magic. |
