Alright...I've never really threaded in a watery place...but Lase is half Svefra and half Akvatari, and flops about, recites poetry, and goes spelunking. I would love to thread with any of you

Hey Lase! Welcome to the Suvan! The caricatures you've sprinkled around the forum, especially Colombina's, are adorable.

I think I can handle another thread or two, if you'd like to toss one up for us. A setting conducive to sailing/swimming/fishing would be best, and I'm guessing unavoidable considering...

If you're interested, feel free to take any justifiable liberties you'd like... ie. having a harpoon shot at you because that nitwit of a Svefra on her clunky boat thought you were dinner. Or anything really, if something on my CS strikes your fancy. Or I can start it, let me know what you think.

Hey fellow sailors:

I am starting a three-part story called "The Last Voyage of the Riana Red". I intended to do it as a solo set for training purposes and maybe to make some income (if Trident is feeling particularly generous). But then it occurred to me that there might be others who would like to join for all or part of the journey.

In Part 1 (02-07 Winter starting in Alvadas), the merchant ship Riana Red sails from Alvadas to Syliras. It is a relatively uneventful journey except for a brief chase by a pirate ship. Opportunities to train a variety of skills.

In Part 2 (07-14 Winter starting in Syliras), the merchant ship Riana Red sets sail from Syliras on the return trip to Alvadas. Interactions with some interesting passengers possible. Opportunities to train a variety of skills. A pirate ship is sighted.

In Part 3 (13-18 Winter, return trip from Syliras to Alvadas), two pirate ships attack the Riana Red and in the ensuing fight gain control of the ship. Opportunities to train some skills. Opportunity to get into a fight. Opportunity to figure out how you're going to survive when the pirates kill the crew, kidnap the passengers and sink the Riana Red.

I might throw a storm in there somewhere.

Edit: I'm going to start it soon because I want to be able to finish all three threads by the end of the month. This means they will have to move along fairly briskly too.

Edit: The Riana Red will be departing from Avaldas shortly.

Also...thank you all for your work on developing the Suvan. Trident, Liandra, Lariat, Cheshire, et al. Personally, many of the locations blow me away with the creative and intriguing premises. Thanks guys!
