Addy listened carefully as Renol related his past few months. It was clear that he was determined to be back in fighting condition as fast as possible, but was very aware of his limitations at the same time. To this, Addy gave a smile and a grateful incline of her head. "You wouldn't be surprised how far some people push themselves to prove that they have still got it. But if you have it once, you're not going to loose it. Our eagles make the right choices, and are hardly ever wrong about whatever it is they see in their rider. Fereo wouldn't have chosen you if he had even though that you wouldn't be able to struggle through whatever the gods throw at us."

Though she spoke with a calm belief in what she was saying, the subject made Addy's stomach drop a little bit. While everything she said to Renol was indeed true, it was still fresh in her mind how close she had been to never achieving her goal of becoming an Endal, being part of that strong arm that kept their city running. Sira was a Wind Eagle, and then she was a woman. Addy knew that much about Kelvics, though her knowledge didn't push far past that; they were the animal with a human form. So Sira didn't make a mistake with her....but what did she see? How was Addy supposed to benefit Wind Reach?

It was a question that the little healer had turned over and over in her mind, wearing down the sharp edges of the subject with her constant handling of it, like a piece of glass in the ocean, when the solution washed up on shore it would be worn and overly handled, tossed and turned within her mind. Sira and Addy had discussed ideas, theories they could test to try and become a more prominent fixture in their city, but they hadn't found the solution yet. When it did appear, it would be obvious.

"I am glad to hear that you are doing well, I really am. And Keah is a sweetheart. You be nice to her, or I might hunt you down and undo all the good we have done to that leg of yours." Her smile was vicious but her eyes sparkled with the restrained laughter.

Sira had plopped herself down in Addy's lap, her snarky comments and wiggles completely ignored in retaliation until she was completely done with her small soliloquy for Renol. Passing a discrete wink to Renol, Addy flexed her fingers threateningly, though Sira couldn't see them, before digging them into the other womans sides. If this didn't make Sira instantly jump to her feet like Addy planned, she moved onto plan B and started to tickle instead, her fingers flickering up and down the kelvic's sides, searching for the intensely sensitive places that everyone had. It was just a matter of finding it.

"I don't know what game. Maybe truth or dare.... I don't think there is enough of us to properly play spin the bottle." A wry smirk at this and Addy lifted a finger to her lips, tapping thoughtfully there. "We could always race, see who is better an all that." Green eyes shot Sira a sideways look, as if asking her if this statement was correct. "I can pretend I'm crippled so that I don't have an advantage." With a giggle, she stuck her tongue out at Renol.

"I've also passed Yasi playing "Come and Find". I remember playing that when I was little... and this place is absolutely dead. Are we really required to stay here the whole shift?" Wrinkling her nose, Addy tossed a glance between the other two Endal, both of whom had been doing this longer than she. Addy had never stayed for a complete night watch, nor ever heard of anything massively important happening during one. So the sad eyes were plied, her bottom lip sticking out a little further than normal. "Pweese?"

OOCSira, you get to choose the game! And Renol just has to do whatever we want!

[The Lookout] Night Watch (Open)

Postby Sira on October 5th, 2011, 12:12 am

Sira listened to the night watch and Addy's comments on it in silence. She didn't feel the need to voice her opinion again. She had already told Renol how she felt, that he had her respect, and nothing else needed to he said as far as she was concerned. When Addy began talking about why Fereo had chosen Renol, Sira knew exactly what was going through the healers mind. Addy had often expressed her doubts in herself, and it didn't help that her own twin had shot down the very idea of Addy ever becoming an Endal. It was still a matter that, despite their mended relationship, Sira still felt some distaste toward the flight leader for.

Sira knew now why she had chosen Aidara, though it had taken quite some time to figure out. It wasn't because of their love, actually, that was something separate. Sira hose Addy the first time they laid eyes on each other, though she didn't realize it at first. Simply meeting Addy had been a terrifying experience, but Sira found herself connected to the healer in a way she had never thought would happen to her. The love that blossomed between them only strengthened that connection, but Addy still would have been her rider even if that hadn't happened. Sira glanced over at Fereo, wondering if it had been similar for him when he first saw his would be rider. Renol was an obvious choice for an endal. He was brave, determined, honorable, and perhaps a bit reckless but all qualities of a classic hero.

Aidara it was harder to see. She was filled with self doubt, but so was Sira. They both strengthened each other, but beyond that there was something else. What Sira saw in Addy was a strength and compassion unmatched by any endal she had ever seen. She wasn't just a healer of the body, but of the mind and spirit as well. She made people feel good, healed their sorrows, and always without a thought for herself. That went beyond the mark, and it was that which would be needed most. Should the wind eagles ever fail what they were tasked to do, Aidara would be needed.

"We know why we choose our endal," Sira whispered solemnly, making it difficult to hear her, "For all our sakes I hope you never have to find out."

Of course that was a bit of a downer. Luckily for them Addy knew just what to do when she jabbed Sira playfully drawing a surprised cry from the kelvic and sending her flying from Addy's lap. "Oh, you'll pay for that!" An evil grin on her face, Sira had her revenge in the form of tickling. When the two women finally stopped rolling about Addy suggested a game and Sira jumped to her feet. "Oh, truth or dare sounds amazing. I'll go first!" Sira turned to Renol, a sly grin on her face.

"Truth or dare?"

If Renol chooses truth Sira asked, "Which one of us do you think is prettier?"

If he chose dare she would say, "I dare you..." Sira glanced about, her eyes settling on Fereo before she continued telepathically, blocking the eagle out so he wouldn't hear, To pluck one of Fereo's feathers while he's not paying attention.

[The Lookout] Night Watch (Open)

Postby Renol on October 16th, 2011, 11:03 pm

OOCSorry. I’ve been a bit distracted with my Alt account trying to get the circus started again. That and I’ve been working on figuring out what to do for the truth or dare. LOL!

Renol chuckled a little bit, “I doubt I’d ever be able to find out anyway. There was one point I got Fereo his arse handed to him for inquiring too much about his past lives. Since then, it’s been hard, at times, to get information out of him. So I try as little as possible. I don’t really need to know why, anyway. I am content to know that he did and to work to make sure that the bond never breaks.”

Renol watched the two in their little struggle, laughing once more as they fought back and forth in their attempts to get the last tickle in. After a moment they stopped, settling back down into the chair. Renol was still a little unsure about the games. He was not always known to be the playful type. Though a happy person, most of the time, he never seemed to play many games. But there were times where he “let his hair down” so to speak, and night watch was so rather dull most of the time, so now was as good a time as any. So, with an arched eyebrow he looked to Sira, pondering which choice to take, both could easily lead to disaster. But, he took what he usually chose first, “Truth.” His eyes went wide at her question, sitting up in his chair,” Well that just not fair!” He slumped back down after a second, grumbling to himself but still smirking a little bit. He took a moment to “weight his options” so it would seem, though he really just wanted to figure out how to phrase things without getting into trouble, “You make too difficult a question, Sira. One cannot choose between two pictures of perfection.“ He sighed for a second, before nodding once to himself, “Well, to tell the truth, I would have to say you, Sira. But you only edge Addy out just slightly with the glow of your skin.” He winked playfully to both of them, chuckling a little once more, ” I assume it is my turn? He perked his eyebrow quizzically once for a moment, “Well, Addy, Truth or dare?”

If she chose truth he would ask “Have you ever healed someone incorrectly? Accidentally?”
If she chose dare he would venture, “I dare you to balance an arrow on the tip of your nose.” He reached over to his gear and pulled one of his flight arrows from his quiver. They weren’t sharp enough to break the skin without hard pressure, so he wouldn’t have to worry about her cutting herself with it. He just wanted to see if she could do it.

"Oooooooh, that's a difficult choice!" Clapping her hands excitedly, Addy leaned forwards towards Renol as he weighed the two options Sira had given him. Knowing the woman, Addy was worried for the man either way.

"Truth."

"Awwwww, C'mon!" Playfully throwing a light slap at Renol's shoulder, Addy leaned back into the chair again and crossed her arms over her chest. "The dare is always the best pick." And she smiled and winked at Sira, finally allowing her to talk.

"Which one of us do you think is prettier?" And Addy couldn't help but laugh out loud. The one question a man never wanted to answer when faced with the two women in question. Leaning forward again, Addy playfully primped and straightened her clothes, as if getting herself ready for an inspection. She and Renol had been friends for a while and he had seen her at both her best and her worst, making the preening either completely for show or pure cockiness.

Turning her gaze to Sira while Renol lamented on how it wasn't a fair question, Addy stuck out her tongue and poked the other woman's side. "I just want you to know that whoever wins... I still love you." And she gave the wrinkled nose, lopsided grin that didn't fail to appear when she thought she was being undeniably cute or funny.

"And you have to choose! It's Truth or Dare, Renol. You could have chosen dare! You picked your poison! Tell us!"

And he chose Sira.

"I agree, though she is far better looking without clothes on." The goofy grin was replaced by a self satisfied smirk. Addy had taken no offense to the decision. Both women were beautiful, and it didn't matter who was hotter than who because..well, they picked each other and that said enough about their attractiveness.

"Dare. Definitely Dare." Eager now that it was her turn to be tortured by Renol, Addy picked what she thought would always be the most interesting of the two choices.

"I dare you to balance an arrow on the tip of your nose."

Still grinning, Addy motioned for Sira to hand her one of the arrows in question. "Are you ready? This might be over with quickly." Taking the arrow, Addy slumped in her chair, leaning her head backwards until it reached a position that she felt comfortable holding completely still. Lifting the arrow so that she held it point down right over her face, the little healer turned her head towards Renol and then Sira, speaking to them both.

"I hope you both find me just as attractive without an eye or two." Her tone was soft a grave, but there was a twinkle in her eye and a twitch to her lips that hinted at the laughter that she was trying so hard to contain. Turning her face back towards the ceiling, Addy carefully lowered the arrow until it's razor tip was resting delicately on her nose. Making sure that the arrow was completely upright and straight she took a deep breath, closed her eyes and opened her fingers.

And the arrow immediately clattered to the floor, nicking the very tip of her nose on it's way down. There was a little red line of blood there, but it hurt no more than a paper cut. Frowning, Addy sat back up straight and scooped up the arrow.

"I hope I don't have to keep doing this until it works, because I think we'll be here all night." So instead, she dove back into the game, clearly excited to torture Sira.

"Truth or dare?" There was a mischievous twinkle in her eye as she turned to face her love.

If Sira chose truth, Addy would ask her to quantify how many men and women she slept with, pinpointing the one, dirtiest moment of her sexual escapades.

If Sira chose Dare, Addy's grin widened and she leaned back in her chair. "I dare you to take Renol and I both to go skinny dipping. In Thunderbay. On our watch."

[The Lookout] Night Watch (Open)

Postby Sira on October 21st, 2011, 12:45 am

Sira was quite pleased with Renol's answer as she examined the smooth skin on her arms and legs. Yes, she rather did have a nice glow to her skin, perhaps enough to overlook the fact that she was slowly becoming a walrus. Of course Sira wasn't even showing yet, not a noticeable amount anyway, but to the kelvic she was already the size of a whale. So being called the prettier of the two was quite an ego boost for the happy endal.

"Good choice, though don't think I didn't realize you only said that because I'm pregnant."

When Addy chose dare Sira was excited to hear what Renol would come up with. The arrow trick wasn't quite what she had been hoping for, but it was all good fun and Sira laughed away as Addy attempted to balance the projectile on the tip of her nose. When the healer sat up and Sira saw the little cut she leaned forward. "Aww, you cut yourself. Here, let me fix it." Sira kissed the tip of Addy's nose and wiped away the blood with her finger, grinning happily. "There you go, all better now." When Addy set her sights upon the kelvic Sira already knew what she was going to choose."

"Truth or dare | DARE!"

Sira shouted the word before Addy ever had a chance to get it out of her mouth and sat back, a smug look on her face as she waited to see what thing Addy might come up with for her. It was no surprise when Addy suggested skinny dipping, and Sira let out an amused laugh. Of course Addy would pick something like that. "Oh, Addy, you're gonna get us in trouble."

Sira stood and put her hands on her hips. "Well, Renol, you can either wake Fereo and meet us down there or you can ride with us. But we don't have a saddle right now so... maybe Addy can ride with you. Or I can just carry you both in my talons."

As Sira mused about how to get down to the bay she glanced out the window, noting that it was still just as boring as usual outside. Surely it would be okay to go for a swim? Nobody would even know they were gone, they were the night watch afterall. However they decided to do it, they all headed down to thunder bay. And if Renol tried to resist Sira would remind him that he agreed to the game so he didn't have a choice, she'd drag him in her talons if she had to.

"Well, let's get going then."

Sira ran out the door and out of sight, quickly stripping off her clothes and shifting before Renol got a chance to get a glimpse of her. He was going to actually have to come if he wanted to see her naked and prove what Addy said about Sira looking better with her clothes off. Once all were situated, whether Addy was hitching a ride with Renol or clinging to Sira's feathers, Sira took off and headed down to the bay shore. She set down in the sand and waited for the others to arrive and dismount before shifting. When she did, the giant eagle disappeared in a flash of swirling smoke and colors and Sira reformed in a crouched position, her arms and legs purposely concealing her finer features from the eyes of the male endal. Sira shot him an impish grin and, before the colorful smoke even cleared, she splashed off into the waves giving a nice view of her naked butt and back and dove beneath the surface, her head bobbing up a few feet away.

"Come on in, the water's great!"

Of course this meant that Sira got to watch as the other two undressed in the cool glow of Leth's light, exactly as she had planned. After she was joined in the water, Sira playfully splashed them both before grinning mischievously and turning to Renol.

"Renol! Truth or dare?"

Postby Sira on December 28th, 2011, 10:12 pm

OOCSince Renol seems to have left and hasn't responded to my PMs, I'm gonna post a wrap-up and submit for xp.

The game went on well into the night, and it was good fortune for all of them that nothing bad happened that required the watchful eyes of those who were supposed to be keeping the city secure that night. Sira, Aidara, and Renol enjoyed their swim, and it was only by some strange twist of fate that Renol did not end but being dragged to bed with them. When the sun finally rose and their replacements came in, the happy couple said goodbye to Renol and his eagle, and flew off into the morning. It was time for some much needed rest, if that's what you want to think happened when they went to bed, and at some point before they did eventually drift off to sleep Sira had one thing left to say on the nights events.

"Best.. watch.. ever!"
