body. Na'Leigh thinks little of what her body looks like and more
about what it can do. Finding pleasure in straining her body to its
limit she revels in the magnificence of agile fingers and
toes, flexibility, and strength. Women love to be near her,
finding her appearance soothing because it makes
them feel beautiful. Men however take her more seriously than
other women because of her appearance and though
they never kiss her face or gaze into her eyes she has

was a vivid tall beauty, cascading curly hair and body. She never
bore children with her husband but bore twins with her Drykas
lover, Na'Leigh and Na'Rish. When her mother died and the truth
was revealed Na'Rish left the mountains with Gavini.

Personality/History: A warm mother, despite her advancing arthritis took
every chance to be with her children. She was an
enigmatic dancer with a great love of children. She grew
up with six siblings but by the time she was in her mid-
twenties most had died. An aggressive lover and

for them and protected their honour to his death even when his
wife became pregnant with another mans children. Though most

take one mate and she in turn. Gunesh lost his mate within a

Personality/History: Gunesh is a family body, bonding with Shinvi when he lost his mate Genavive. He bonded with Shinvi on the agreement that Shinvi would choose only one love and would only tolerate being the one love of his wife. He treated Na'Leigh and Rishi as his own fledglings.
History:
Neighla was a fiercely independent glass blower who totted her ware all across the land. However, she was also a fierce lover and mother. Unable to have children with her husband she took out her frustration by bedding countless lovers in her travels. Though she loved him no less she desperately wanted children. Though she would never admit it to herself even more desperately she wanted the excitement of a new mans touch. Though her husband was a wonderful lover the excitement had dulled in their years of marriage. While on the last leg of her journey she traveled with Givini's family. Though she never loved him they complimented each other and soon were finding their way into each others beds every night. Introducing him as a friend to her husband Givini, a merchant and traveler, stayed in Wind Reach for a time but soon realized his love for Neighla would never be reciprocated. When he discovered she was pregnant he wanted to be close to his daughters, to tell them the truth. Neighla refused and insisted that he visit them under the precedent that he was their Uncle. He agreed, and would pay biyearly visits to his growing children.
When Gunesh found out Neighla had born Givini's children he flew into a rage and turned to kill Neighla. Diving between them Shinvi tried to stop Gunesh. In his fury Gunesh killed Shinvi for betraying his family by tolerating her betrayal. Rishi, feeling betrayed by her entire family fled Wind Reach and her past to live with Givini on the plains. Na'Leigh saved her mother from Gunesh's wrath. A year later her mother died, unable to take care of herself because of the advanced form of her arthritis. In her grief, Na'Leigh went to Gunesh. Despite Givini's biyearly visits so Wind Reach to visit her she ignored his attentions. Accepting Gunesh as her last form of family she fled to him. Still raging over the betrayal he left her face scarred as a reminder of her weakness. By saving her mother she had used the distraction of her fathers death to save a guilty woman, in Wind Reach an Eagle passed judgement and sentence in one, her evasion was a sign of disrespect for Gunesh, and weakness in the face of her emotions.
Since then she has striven to show to her people she is one of them. Unknown to her they already accept her. Liaisons between different humans is normal in their culture but she projects her own dissatisfaction of who she is onto them. When her father died she was given his hunting dog, an enormous brute, named Gully, that spent most of the day curled against the warm stone of the mountain when he wasn't helping her people hunt.
When her father was alive Na'Leigh had been apprenticed to a glass blower, when he died she left, putting all her effort in caring for her mother. When her mother passed away she went back to the glass blower but he had already replaced her with a very promising lad. Though she respected the lad his talent she fought for the apprenticeship, leaving sketches each day in front of the mans door. Though her sketching abilities were limited her ideas were vast. She would spend hours of each day at his doorstep, waiting and watching for the lad to make a mistake that she could correct. Though the glassblower pitied her for her loss he wasn't sure of her capability and refused her attempts.
One evening the lad made a terrible mistake, stumbling he dropped the chest of glass creations the glassblower was planning to sell that month at the market. Dismissing the boy for his carelessness he accepted Na'Leigh's offer not knowing that it was she who had tripped the boy.
While she loves glassblowing Na'Leigh's true passion is climbing. She loves the puzzle stretched out on either side of her the secrets and darkness they hold waiting for her to find them. Whenever she is not at her mentors side she is found out on the cliffs with the hunters with Gully. Though one of the youngest in the group she is competent on the cliffs and owns an impressive hunting dog, something Wind Reach can hardly pass up.
