Appearance:

Eyes- Blue, variedImage in vividness and brightness, but not hue. This is a result of both the Vantha and Svefra in his blood.

Marks- Vivid "X" shaped scare/tattoo carved into right shoulder blade, tinged with bright red ink, marking him a danger and enemy of the Svefra people. A clear halved black sun is seared onto the top of Trente's right hand, denoting him as a Ravok slave.

Clothes- Once fine Ravok styled clothing, age and ware have left his attractive attire in disarray, a fitting contradiction he feels is quite fitting for him. He is very reluctant to remove his shirt, or gloves, and will not if not explicitly stated.

Makeup- Though usually unadorned, for occasions he is not afraid to apply himself, or have one more experienced than himself apply theatrical makeup to showcase his peculiar eyes. Anything to grab attention.

Mannerisms- Trente has always prided himself on excellent posture. After much practice a high chin and straight back, adorned by sweeping balanced steps has become second nature. Outside of this general, nearly rigid habit he gives very little movements, or sweeps of his hand. He allows his words to speak alone, without distraction, helped only be a usual direct gaze to another's eyes when speaking. Expression tends to be unmoving, attentive, but apparently haughty.

Posture- Confident, deliberate, and graceful.

Love has existed only as an abstract in Trente's life, usually quite a pessimistic one at that. One exception strove to breech this, however. Marsha D'Talentio marks quite notable the longest relationship Trente has ever had. In a time when he pushed the boundaries of society, thought little of others emotions and performed vast digressions upon other people's personal lives, Trente found a mirror in young D'Talentio. Together they explored the pleasures and trials of hedonism, eventually falling apart as one grew ethically and the other did not. Immaturity is so fleeting in youth, and some grow faster than others. And others never grow at all.



Personality: Trente is a "doer." He is primarily focused on actions, and will disregard most anything that stops or even slows down the processes of accomplishing his actions. He judges others on their actions, not on their intentions or motivations but how he perceives the effect of their actions.

Though he thrives in environments where he can learn practical skills, he dreads any situation where he must focus on the purely theoretical, such as astronomy.

Because he doesn't value motivations and feels very much, he assumes others do not as well. For this reasons his words are not often tempered or swayed to seem kind and open like most people's. He is a straight forward person, who expects the same from others. When people react poorly to his nature he often is either oblivious of their opinion or simply disregards it as unimportant.

The only true overarching moral he holds is that after deciding he will do something than he will see it done, no matter what.

Child of Trente, and a young Ravok women, the pregnancy and birth itself was quiet excluding even the father from knowing. The mother knew her child would not be human, and instead of keeping it she, and her family, decided in her youth, that the child was better born in secrecy then sold away at a modest price into slavery. And so it was.

Four years passed, the child trained superbly by older Ravok slaves, significantly raising his price by the time his mother returned for him in regret. Unable to to enter the great city herself she spend nearly all of her saved resources, both money and skill, to use a third party to retrieve her son, and deliver him to the far shores of Ravok, where she gathered her son and smuggled him first to Nyka, then eventually to the Island of Mura, where she believed he may be safe from slavery forever.
Theme :

He grew in Mura, for several years, learned severally modest trade in the land, and learned to sooth the misunderstanding sewn in him by his early years of slavery. In this time his mother, and generous Konti oversaw his care, encouraging him to find a goal for himself in life, for the greater good, and achieve it.

This paradise was destroyed, however, when his mother fell ill. She did not die from the illness, she was saved by the impressive feats of the Konti healers there upon the White Isle. However, this shook something in the women, reminded her of the life which was slipping from her grasp, and against the advice of her Konti advisers she fled, leaving her son.

For some time the Konti deliberated over what to do with the abandoned child, and ultimately agreed upon following the women's suggestion, left behind in letter of instruction. A brave Konti took the boy, seeking out his father, Trente, along with an old letter meant for the man, and a whole heap of new responsibilities.

Hydromancy is a form of Fortune Telling which involves a multitude of practices which require the divinest to study water.
Matilis at this point can only attempt the very basics, tossing three pebbles into still water and attempting to judge messages by the shapes and quantities represented by the ripples. Usually this is accomplished through assigning a meaning to each pebble tossed, then watching it's influence on the equation before him.

Oceanus- In perfect compliment to his ever shifting Laviku marked eyes travels rippling stylized waves across his pale freckled skin. The mark shifts as naturally as current, and can be manipulated by the softest of touches, pushing across his skin like rippling water. The colorful favor moves about large sections of the child's body with ease and frequency, and offers him an even stronger connection to the ocean where he can win the hearts of creatures and understand the ocean around him within intimate familiarity.
