Claude Is a tall man with a lanky build. His eyes are a vibrant hazel, and compliment his sharp facial structure and light brown hair. His hair color is a unique defect from his Inarta roots, but his facial stubble makes up for it, being predominantly ginger in color. Hardly musclebound, and ready to last a couple of days burning fat in a survival situation. That's the story anyways, Claude has a small beer gut; Mostly due to a recent life of luxury.

Personality

Claude is a gentle soul, fueled by an adventurous lifestyle. Curiosity often gets the better of him, but lends gratefully to his ever present desire to expand his own views. Outwardly friendly, Claude has a magnetic personality. Thieving, to Claude, is both a means of survival and a hobby. Despite having never been in Wind Reach, Claude is very similar in personality to the mass of the Inarta people. He is confident and holds a high level of personal responsibility.

Character History

Claude has spent a large portion of his life has been spent traveling, meeting new people and, when the option was available, living the life. Claude was born to a gypsy family, his parents both originally from Wind Reach, though he has never been there himself. The gypsy family itself gave him the surname Vaan, as an honor to him and his parents, that he would be protected by them as true family, for as long as they traveled together. Life on the road taught Claude the value of anonymity. Often he has traveled alone, but on a fair number of occasions he would travel with a partner or even in groups. Many people consider him a friend, though most would never meet him more than once. At one time he was saved from an angry ne'er do well by a traveling treasure seeker whom he had accompanied almost a year before.

The dangers of nature in Mizahar have often been very apparent to Claude, and he has learned the importance of observation, and caution, while traveling. Each near death experience hardened him; and from plants to disease and chasing predators, Claude has had many rough and dim times.

Traveling is Claudes ultimate means of survival. Being a thief by trade is often a hard life. The more civilized areas look down on him immensely, and in his younger years he almost lost his hands as punishment. Less civilized areas are not nearly as kind; Claude avoids such places except in times of dire need. With the ever present threat noted in wilderness, Claude tries to hunker down in any settlement he can until he feels his welcome has been worn out.

A little over the last year of Claudes life was spent in Mura. His presence was generally unwelcome, but he did manage to befriend a few Konti. The residence he lived with where kind to him, and taught him small things about magic and djed. In return he provided his skilled labor in the arts of stealth, as well as simple household chores. His time in Mura tuned him into magical wavelengths, and through this he has learned some skill in Flux. Claude is not aware of what Flux is, nor does he have any true understanding of it. Claude only knows the very basics of Djed, and can feel it moving throughout his body. He also learned some very basic glyphing, through observation, he was not taught directly any secrets of glyphing.

Before Claudes departure, He had to make sure he made one visit. Having immersed himself in Konti culture, visiting the crystal caverns was a must. Claude went without permission or supervision. The trip itself was beyond description, The caverns beauty will always wear a mark on Claudes heart.

Shepherd's Moderator Intervention

Hello new adventurer!

Welcome to Mizahar! My name is Shepherd, and I am here to assist you in completing your Character Sheet in a manner that is respectful to the Lore and overall theme of Mizahar. I have found a few areas of confusion and error, and I'm here to work with you to set things straight.

Things Needing Fixed

Flux
I don't think how Claude learned Flux is proper. Magic is extremely dangerous, but is also very difficult to learn on one's own. It requires a lot of Meditation and concentration. I just don't believe you could be come "in tune with the wavelengths" and learn it. Now if you learned it from a helpful mage that you befriended, that would be fine.

Lores
Lore of Forestry feels too vague to me. Lores are specific bits of information your character knows. Forestry is also a branch of the Skill Wilderness Survival. Perhaps make the Lore along the lines of Lore of Living Away from Civilization

Vision Water
You will need to purchase this item, after seeking out a price of it from Cachet, the mod of Mura.

Minor Notes
These things do not need to be changed, but I would recommend you looking into some adjustments.

I noticed you referenced your Character as a thief. Thieves in Mizahar often have the skill known as Larceny. Perhaps adding a few points into Larceny would help to have your character feel more fleshed out?

Please make the changes I've noted above, and send me a Private Message. Upon receiving your message, and reviewing your changes, I will remove the Intervention. Thank you for coming to Mizahar, and I hope you enjoy writing here.
