They Move on Tracks of Never Ending Light by This Will Destroy You Concept Like her father in the Skyglow Hold, Inwe has all her life been a worshiper of the visual arts. However, instead of carving, pottery, or glassblowing, she fell in love with dance as her medium. The mind is her canvas, and her body is the paintbrush. Inwe believes that a story can be told through the language of her movements: from sharp, violent twists to slow, undulating waves from her arms. It's been said that her mother, a Snowsong and a marvelous singer, is the reason for Inwe's unorthodox art styles, though she does not need music to dance. At nineteen, Inwe was married into the Winterflame Hold to a gifted gourmand, Findecano. Of the suitors offering her parents a price to take her as a bride, he was the one Inwe favored the most. Their respective families are now eagerly awaiting children, but Inwe has a certain distaste for the idea. Instead, she has taken up an interest in spear fighting, and can often be seen training in the snow, combining dance and combat styles. Appearance Inwe's build is modest, but about average for a Vantha woman. She stands at a moderate height of 5'2, weighing around 117lbs. Her long, thick hair is nearly black, but glossy with an emerald sheen--not unlike Morwen's Lights in the night sky. When training, she often ties or otherwise braids it, but most of the time it's left to sweep over her shoulders. Her golden skin and gentle features strongly resembles her mother, who into her forties still looks young enough to be confused as Inwe's sister. Although Inwe's build is petite, she has been building tight cords of muscle in her abdomen and upper arms as she learns to wield the spear, which requires a great deal of balance. Her dancing moves, which she utilizes to compensate for the spear's weight, build some of the muscle tone in her legs. History Born to Hawken and Senaira of the Skyglow Hold, Inwe is the eldest of two siblings; her brother is called Jeriah. Like all Vantha born in Avanthal, she was already marked by Morwen before she took her first breath. The symbol of a snowflake appears on her left arm, just below her shoulder. Inwe's childhood was mostly carefree, and consisted mainly of ruining her younger brother's ice sculptures, helping him build elaborate snow forts, and collapsing them while he was still inside. They were like ice and fire, always wrestling and bickering, though always as siblings and rarely as enemies. As they grew, Inwe remained the more athletic one, active, outgoing and positive. She practiced dancing while her mother would sing. Her brother became more quiet and reserved, with a passion for carving ice sculptures to imitate their father's glassblowing. Cheva's mark. Now nearing her 26th year, Inwe and Findecano have lived comfortably in their Arvinta at the Winterflame Hold. Findecano, as well as their parents, have lately been hinting at a desire for them to have children, but Inwe has been ambiguous and avoidant about the issue. She has instead been more interested in joining Icewatch, but must first build up her skills. Skills and Lore Primary Skills

Gnosis
Single Mark - The singularly marked individual is completely at ease in the cold. The presence of Morwen's mark acts as antifreeze that warms the individual's blood and keeps her comfortable even in subzero temperatures. Exposed tissue can still freeze when faced with severe temperatures, but she is not at all prone to hypothermia if she is well protected against the weather. She may in fact even feel ‘comfortable’ in colder climates and indeed uncomfortable in warmer climates. At this stage, the Ice Reaver can control the temperature of ice, melting it or freezing it in small portions. It is not unheard of for an Ice Reaver to scoop up a pot of snow, tap their gnosis, and have a pot of ice water instead ready for cooking. Ice Reavers at this level have the ability to tell how thick a piece of ice is - such as the surface of a lake - and can determine whether it is safe or not to hold weight. At this level, Ice Reavers can tap their gnoses and shape ice that is already formed as sculptors might - loosening and causing it to shed away until the pattern they want is formed. Ice Reavers at this level cannot create ice nor manipulate large portions of ice. They cannot, for example, thaw portions of a surface of a lake, but they can take the existing ice and reshape it or melt it. They can only change the viscosity of about a standard 10 gallons of water at a time. If conditions are cold and they try to repeat this process over and over again to achieve what a higher level Ice Reaver could, they would find their manipulations refreezing behind them as they worked.
