Winter 42, 511AV
Calvin’s favorite book store was right around the corner from the tavern in the residential district of Lhavit. He like to come here, because they provided free entertainment for shoppers. Calvin was in the bookstore looking for a book entitle Arsenic, Cyanide, & other poisons and toxins. Calvin wanted the book so he could start learning about poisons. He knew that herbalist made poisons from plants and mushrooms, but Calvin wanted to know more about Biology and chemistry of poisons and toxins. This was the first step of Calvin’s learning process. Research.
Calvin perused the shelf's until he found the book he was looking for. As he moved to the counter he slid the book over the counter making eye contact with the female cashier. He flashed her a smile and stared deep into her eyes. “Hello, this will be it for me.” While the cashier and Calvin’s eyes were locked she reached down and touched Calvin's hand that was resting on the book she smiled and giggled a little.
She leaned in close to Calvin and whispered “that will be ten Kinas” right into Calvin’s ear. He smiled now and pulled 10 kinas out of his pocket.
“Thanks, beautiful, can I use the back?”
She smiled again and grabbed his handed and lead him through a door behind the counter. In this back counter there was only a couch, a table and a fire place. Calvin thanked her and kissed her on the neck. She giggled and walked out the door back to her job, but she was late to let go of Calvin’s hand. Ahhh 16 such a wonderful time to be free Calvin laied down on the couch. The back room was nice it was for readers, but not many people acutely knew about it. It was warm and the couch very conferable. Calvin opened the book and began to read.
Calvin now had two poisons to extract and test

Arsenic is an element, so it exists in nature by its self, however the extraction and transportation of arsenic is extremely dangerous and isn’t recommended. The other place arsenic exists is in the stock of plants, however this arsenic is also very hard to extract but can be done with an oxidizer or an alchemist may be able to separate the element from the stock. Arsenic is poisons whether inhaled or ingested. The legal limit for ingestion is between 15 and 30 mg/kg, while the inhaled limit is 400 mg/m3/2H Scary FYIarsenic is also carcinogen meaning it causes cancer
Cyanide is a polyatomic ion that is most often paired with potassium and is poisons in that state. Potassium cyanide is actually very often exposed to us in our everyday life, so the most common place to find it is inside nuts and seeds. Extraction is similar to the extraction of arsenic with a series oxidizer or an alchemist will be able to separate the chemicals. the lethal limit for cyanide is 1.5 mg/kg. An important note of cyanide poison is that it is only poisons when dissolved and ionized.”
