Although Cade is muscular, his agility and way of moving mimics the panther. His skin is bronzed from constant exposure to the sun and his garb is most commonly a loincloth, sandals and a longsword smithed by his own father. Cade has a scar on his lower right abdomen created by a young vanth girl by the name of Constance. She pierced his guts in retaliation of the barbarian taking priviliage of her body. He still has the blade to this date. Character History 485av-(13th day of fall) Cade was born in Taloba. His father a Widowed Blacksmith and Myrian warrior in his older years. His mother- a young Svefra bounty hunter that caught his fancy during an aggressive encounter between the two. She willingly gave union to the old Myrian, a mystery in itself to her reasons and followed him to Taloba. Set on proving her worth to the Jagged Blade Clan, she soldiered up with the Myrian's Fang. An assassination attempt was made on her life at the height of her pregnancy. Both Corin and Cira fought off the would be attackers in a bloody onslaught that they barely survived. The intensity of the attack induced Cira's labour and moments later Cade was born in a pool of blood not just of his mother's but of the assassins that his parents had killed. The assassins were myrian ordered by Corin's younger sister to cleanse the family line of impure blood. The fact that the baby was born to bloodshed and Corin and Cira survived the attack and birthing was a miracle of its own rights. Cade's aunt did not attack again and the odd family was left alone. 494av- (Winter) Cade's father Corin dies presumably of old age. Fearing for her own safety and the safter of her ten year old child, Cira escaped Taloba and Falyndar entirely, making her way to sunberth. A fresh start and a new home for them. 495av-(10th day of Summer) Cade and his Mother Cira where on the bounty hunt for a human named Ric Tova, last seen in ravok, who owed more mizas then he was worth to the wrong people in sunberth. The only problem was Ric was a well connected man and had many informants about. Cira and Cade were not the hunters this day, but the hunted. They were ambushed at night two days ride out from ravok where the mother and son team made camp. Cira was killed by Ric with a longbow shot that struck her in the chest. Cira's body fell back into the tent where Cade had been, giving her last breath and words to her son she expired in front of the half blood myrian boy. He took up arms and laid in wait for her attackers to finish him off. Ric was the first to suffer his wrath as Cade fired his mother's crossbow, the bolt ripping through his chest. The second man Thray's life was ended as the boy charged out with his father's longsword striking him down dead. The boy went back to Ric's body, noticing there was still life. He picked up a hammer and caved the man's skull in, killing him on the first two hits, but the boy berserker did not stop, he continued tell savaging the body of Ric........ 495av-(11th day of summer) A mercanary Captain by the name of Arturus Breuner came upon the grizzly scene just as the morning sun was breaking the dark sky. Arturus could see the boy Cade painted in blood as he still pounded the pulped corpse of his victim. Arturus and his men would of just left the boy and taken the that valubles but his wife Shelia had a soft spot for the tortured child. They just recently lost their own son who was roughly the same age and size Cade was. Against his better judgement he gave into his wife's demand and took the child in as their own, though his crew warned Arturus this was a bad omen. 505av-(10th day of fall) Cade had been running with a slaver crew working their profession in and out of Avanthal, collecting unfortunate beings for the slave markets. This date Cade and his crew came upon a blind vantha girl playing beautiful music all by her lonesome, outside the winter city. They preyed upon her, taking the young girl into their custody. She put up a small fight but was no match for Cade and other slavers. This girl caught the Captain’s fancy and was to be his tell she was sold off on the market. Cade thought otherwise and murdered the Captain and the three other slavers within the crew. The barbarian took the girl, having his way with her. In his murderous ambition he actually helped the girl for her own escape, for after Cade had finished she had placed a blade into his abdomen, fleeing the small slaver camp and leaving the nightmare behind. 506av-(23rd day of fall) Cade was once again running with slavers, this time in sunberth. He found himself getting mixed up with a young talented swordsmen by the name of Rhuryc. An epic battle was played out within the tavern with the end results of Rhuryc being sold off as a slave, though Cade in victory would be licking his wounds for awhile. ((Work in progress))

The only way the ring can be removed from Cade's possession is if he loses the ring in a bet in a game of chance, gambling. This includes dice, cards, or betting on fighters in a blood sport. The ring is known to be more of a curse than not, starting on the 30th of Winter, the power awakens and "Bad Luck" tends to happen to the owner more often than it should. A slip while climbing stairs, the crack of a well cared-for weapon, or mysterious disappearance of a day's rations or a few coins, etc. The number of "Bad Luck" accidents are rare, but are only addition to the standard unluckiness of the owner. After much time passes, the Ring's power grows in both number of occurrences, and violent accidents. Changing possession relieves previous owner, and starts all over in its process for the new owner.
