Red-Headed Hostility [Kisa]

Enric shrugged his shoulders. To be honest, as long as he got his payment, he didn't care how he got it, only that he did get it. "I can preserve it just fine, that and my daughter and I will probably eat it before it has a chance to go bad. She's growing after all." Not to mention neither of them were particularly well nourished. No, Enric had been sacrificing a lot for Loralynn. She was, though still thin and currently ill, she was much better than when Enric first found the girl and took her in.

And Enric's personality shifted once again when Kisa mentioned Loralynn. Even though her words were cute, kind, and would be what any proud parent would want to hear, it struck Enric slightly different. "Come with me, Endal." His voice was quiet now, as he looked behind him, he saw that Loralynn hadn't moved beyond shifting to get more comfortable. His voice, even if it was calm, it was eerie, dark, monotonous to the point where he almost seemed to be turned into the undead (Nuits weren't known to show emotion). Enric then opened the door to his home and motioned with his head for Kisa to follow him.

The market, it would take some time to walk there, plenty of time to talk about something he was very particular about. And to be honest, he was only concerned. The chilled air bit at his pale cheeks almost instantly, turning them into faint pinkish blushings. "Alright Endal, I know you are your kind tend to take any advice or demands from the lower classes as an insult, but I have a command to give you right now." Enric stopped his walking and turned to face Kisa, he wanted to make sure their eyes connected when he said this. "Loralynn is easily influenced in her young age and curiosity. I don't want you around her." Enric could only stare at Kisa for a long moment before pulling his gaze back and begin walking once more. "It's not you, but who Wind Reach says you are, and how you are forced to act. Personally, I don't know if I like you or trust you, but I can tell you, that I don't want to find out if I should. And I'm not going to risk my daughter on such a gamble. If you are going to hang around until your work is finished, that is fine. You can do that, but you do not talk to the girl."

Enric sighed heavily after this short monologue. He was only vaguely aware of how many times, and how drastically, he had changed in front of the Endal. Dangerous, that's what it was. Still, he hated doing that, as if chewing out some monster. True, he had a generalized resentment for them, but they were still his people. It was a strange thing about him, how he both hated and loved them, and wanted to trust them, but couldn't. "We're going to the market to find a saddle, worn, torn, and salvageable.'

Red-Headed Hostility [Kisa]

Postby Kisa [Intrind] on February 27th, 2012, 1:22 am

Kisa's first response would have been to argue and fight with this lowly man commanding her around. She was not one to be pushed around or told what to do. Very few people on this mountain had the right to order her around and that was the was she liked it. She flashed Enric a fiery look that said she would do exactly what she wanted to wether he liked it or not.

"I have no interest in having anything to do with your daughter, she serves no purpose to me. A nice please would have been suffice. Also, I will be avoiding your daughter, and as much as possible, you because I choose to. Not because I give a damn about you orders." Of course she would never admit it but Kisa admired the man's passionate protection of his daughter, wether or not it was misdirected towards her. Kisa was confident and thought highly of herself, but that did not mean she directly honored the caste system, she thought her equality with others was directly measured by their ability to stand up for herself. As far as she was concerned, Enric was her equal. She needed his work and he needed her pay. Not that she would ever admit that to him. "So next time lets avoid the bickering and disrespect and we will both get what we want."

Kisa's hand was on her hip, resting against the bare skin there. Like many women of her kind, her top fully revealed her midriff. Being a hunter and a trained fighter, Kisa's stomach was flat and defined. She did not appear boyish or thick in appearance, she had managed to keep her curvy figure throughout all her intense work-outs. The varied braids and feathers woven into her fiery red hair added a very feminine, although still fierce, look to her.

"Do you need any measurements or a look at Intrind before we find this gear? I know sizes aren't universal especially when it comes to Eagles."
