Hey Guys!

The season change is imminent. I just wanted to make a few notes here to let you all know my thoughts. You need to start wrapping up Winter threads and start on thinking about your Spring threads. Any grandfathered threads from Fall need to be completely wrapped up soon.

I know a lot of you will be posting Placeholders for Winter to get things done you haven't had a chance to post. Remember, a lot of things you wanted to do in the winter training wise can be done in the spring. If this is a plotline for Winter, placeholders are acceptable BUT....

PLACE HOLDERS MUST HAVE REAL TITLES AND HAVE A PURPOSE LISTED IN THE THREAD. I will delete any and all 'placeholders' entitled Placeholders. I think they are tacky and get abandoned more times than they get used. So give them legitimate titles and let us know why they are there even if its just for a 'Just in case I need this for X...' type thing. I'm going to be firm about this. The Placeholder spam in every forum is hugely TACKY. I don't want to see it in Riverfall. I think this is a pretty fair request that takes very little effort on your part.

Also, this Season Change is the anniversary of the Valterrian. We go from 511 to 512. Most cultures celebrate the Valterrian with humble ceremonies marking the struggles their ancestors went through. However, this time in Riverfall its going to be different. As you may or may not know, Mura Island has sent us Konti healers and seers bearing the dire warnings that the Champion of Avalis has had a warning for the future and that a terrible thing is going to happen this season change.

Please stay tuned. This is very important and is a globally impacting event. And, unless your PC hears the warning that will be issued from Nevar Chevan and follows the instructions given, I might make you log into chat and dice for your PC's survival if you are caught out beyond where you would be considered 'Safe!".

Hadn't thought about the season change ... I can pause and then timestamp my training thread I just put up for the spring season. I was posting mainly for something to do that was beneficial for my PC

I'll do my best to get on it. I'm working through a bout of bronchitis. As for the 'globally impacting event,' it sounds like fun.

Guys if you want anything graded, I'm going to hit the Mod request threads pretty hard this weekend and empty them out so throw your threads in now. All I ask is that if you have them elsewhere, don't double post thread requests. Put them in one place only!

Hello Guys!

I have big plans for the city in the near future. I know a lot of you have been busy with midterms and other school stuff, but we need to talk about a serious situation in Riverfall. On the 84th of Winter, Konti messengers from Mura brought a dire warning that on the anniversary of the Valterrian Riverfall and the whole world will get hit with a massive Djed Storm, the same sort that did so much destruction in the times of the Valterrian. Luckily we are only having one such storm, while the ancestors suffered daily, hourly, poundings by these vicious releases of pure unpurposed djed.

Today is the last day of the season so its your LAST chance to get any threads up that will take place in Winter and your last chance to do any preparations for survival. The season change happens at Midnight tonight.
Feel free to do so. Nevar Chivan has raised extreme danger flags throughout the city that tell people to seek information in the information office. They'll be freely spreading this message from the 84th on out. Riverfall as a whole will be ordered underground with anything not etched in stone or nailed down moved. Even if your a visitor to the city, odds are you will be ordered to move and be forced into this massive effort.

Life in Riverfall, the day to day stuff, will be put on hold until after the storm. React accordingly and watch the News Around The Campfire for more detailed information.

With the season change approaching, please post in the 'slaver raid' thread now before it gets grandfathered. I hope to get at least one of you involved just so it isn't a solo. I enjoy the RP

I joined your raid.. it sounded fun. I'm going to drag Kadrath and Raiha along if they want to go. They all need some fight experience. What do you say guys? Shall we go kill slavers and rescue beautiful women?
