It was another cool day in Lhavit, the mild temperatures a testament to the skyglass that embraced the city. Patrols were the flavor of the day. As an Acolyte, he was not left to guard an area alone, but to travel a sort of relay from peak to peak, insuring that the actual Shinya guard posted and patrolling did not need anything. Usually he was waved off after a bit of conversation, as most Shinya were stalwart in their duties when assigned them.
After leaving his most current assignment, he found himself near the Touch of Fire. It had been some time since the Job Faire and he had assumed that his not hearing again from Madame Terras meant that his request was denied. However, assumptions were usually an exercise in self defeat, so the young Acolyte decided to investigate and hear the word No for himself.
Entering the shop, his eyes fell on a number of masterfully crafted weapons. His discipline kept his hands folded behind him, though his young eyes danced from gleaming blade to hook to hammer. He could hear the hissing of fire and water beyond the walls of the showroom, the heat wafting into the room. Soon, it was quiet and a man entered, his oversized gray arm identifying him as Isur, like Madame Terras. Perhaps it was her son? Quite a coincidence if not.
When he was greeted, he could see a squint in the man's eyes as if he could not make out Lu's face, so the young man stepped forward, dressed in his usual Acolyte attire. He bowed to the assistant, saying "Yes, I am Acolyte Gavima of the Shinya. I spoke with Madame Terras sometime ago about some meteoric plates, but have not had an opportunity to follow up. Today, I do have the time. Would you be able to assit me?"
