Race: Kelvic (Wolf) Age: 3, Appears to be in his early 20's Birthdate: 71st of Winter, 509 AV Zev is quiet handsom, in a scruffy, perpetually grumpy way. He is tall, just under 6" and is well built, his skin carries a dark tan and his black hair hangs over his deep green eyes in choppy, uneven, wavey locks that he cut himself. Usually he sports a five o'clock shadow, as he is constantly forgetting to shave. He sports quiet a few scars, most of them from his time as a slave and is branded on the right side of his chest, over his heart. In his animal form he is a large black wolf with green eyes and short, wiry fur. |
Character Concept
Though Zev is at first rude, blunt and mean, once you break through his rough and grumpy exterior you'll find a surprisingly nice guy, and even if you don’t, he has his reasons for being the way he is. Taciturn and gruff, Zev doesn't speak much about himself, his life with his family or his past as a slave. Once you become an important fixture in his life you will find that he is really fiercely loyal and that he isn't afraid to fight to protect the ones he loves. He gets his fierce, ruthless behavior and the belief of 'Survival of the Fittest' from his mother and his bad attitude from his more than rough around the edges father. He is not well versed in the finer points of human psychology and behaviors, so he can come off as a bit dense at times. |
Character History
Zev was born on his family’s farm just outside of Syliras. His mother, a Myrian, died during his birth and his father, a retired soldier of Kelvic descent, died of illness soon after. Shortly after his second birthday he was captured by slave traders. He was taken to Sunberth, luckily Lilaya, his elder sister, escaped. He was dragged through the streets as public humiliation and to show that he was indeed a slave, and then was sold, to a wealthy businessman. He served for two years with regular beatings and lashings, as well as other, more violent punishments for his naturally sarcastic and crude personality. Toward the end of his third year his 'master' was mysteriously murdered in the dead of the night. For a time he worked as a bar tender, and it didn't suit him in the least, but it did give him enough time to practice glaring until he gathered enough money to leave the less than lawful city. He traveled to Ahnatep where he became the pet of Kharasa and an honorary member of the East Winds House. |
