The Art of Seduction [Closed] Elvyra and Jase

Postby Jase Aldaine on March 6th, 2012, 11:26 pm

Jase strolled quietly down what he hoped was the main avenue of Avanthal. He could make out what seemed to be seven different districts, all the while taking in the stunning snowy landscape that surrounded him. It was nothing like his home city of Syliras, but it had its own unique charm that completely seduced him. He couldn't imagine what he looked like to the passerby's, no doubt he came across as a curious and lost child among the crowds that populated the city.

He briefly thought of his brothers, Arcturus and Turran, all on their own in the Capital city of Syliras. It wasn't like them to split paths, especially after so much they'd overcome together. He glanced at the log buildings and their rooftops packed with snow, and wondered how they were so resistant and sturdy with all that weight pushing down on them. He ran his nails along the icy material that decorated some of the buildings and was surprised at the lack of moisture from when he rubbed his fingers together afterwards.

His amazement had taken away that dreadful feeling of cold, but as he delved further into this new land, it slowly came creeping back. It chilled him to the very bone and Jase wondered how long it would take to find a tavern to warm up in. He picked up his pace and moved in long even strides as he searched almost desperately for a place to warm up.

Lost in the Everwinter City [Open]

Postby Elvyra on March 6th, 2012, 11:33 pm

Ecstatic to finally be on her paws and free to roam the city, Elvyra padded through the snow, a low purr rumbling in her throat, her ears perked forward. Bounding across a wide street, she yowled as a foot suddenly came down on her tail, and scrambled back, arching, her jet black fur on end as she glared furiously up at a clueless looking man.

Hissing, the young Kelvic easily shifted, and a moment later where an angry she-cat had stood bristeling, a young, naked woman was, glaring spitefully at the dark haired man. Several people stopped to glance at her, but naked Kelvics here and there throughout the city weren't all that uncommon, and it was easy to forgive them for their indecency.

With no sense of modesty, Elvyra narrowed her slitted silver eyes at him. "Watch where you're going!" She snapped, her chin angling up defiantly. "Do you know how much that hurts? What are you, blind?" Baring her pointed fangs, she crossed her arms over her abdomen. The cold air and snowflakes brushing her ivory skin was refreshing, really, though she knew soon enough the cold would become biting.

Moving forward at an ever increasing pace, he had barely noticed something soft under his boot until he heard the ear piercing screech of a cat with midnight black fur at his feet. He had taken it for a soft patch of snow covered in ice, but when he saw a cat morph into a different shape before his eyes he jerked back and stared in complete awe. Of course he had heard of Kelvics and their ability to morph into different animals, but never had he observed one from this close.

He found himself open-mouthed and glaring as the naked girl stood before him. She was barely a woman, Jase put her at about 15 to 16 years of age, though the dark look in her eyes as she gazed up at him made her look almost like an adult despite her much smaller stature. He tried to avert his eyes from staring at her nakedness, although he found it incredibly difficult to do so, considering the fact that she was so close to him. He unconsciously took a step back, locking his green eyes onto her's.

What had caught his attention first and foremost were here silver feline eyes. They seemed almost to pierce through his body and stare right into his very soul. "Watch where you're going!" she spat venomously. "Do you know how much that hurts? What are you blind?" Well so much for Avanthal's hospitality. His hand instinctively went to his back were Steelfang shimmered as the afternoon sun blazed down on it as the Kelvic girl flashed her pointed fangs. "I meant no ill, my lady, excuse me, I was simply passing by in a rush and wasn't watching the ground." he said charmingly. "If you would excuse me, I'll be on my way." He started to continue forward, but turned back abruptly and asked, "You wouldn't happen to know where the nearest tavern is located would you? I seem to have lost my way, and as you could most likely see, I'm new to this place and was wondering if you could show me around." A slight look of desperation twinkled in his eyes, but was gone almost before anyone could notice.

Elvyra noticed him falter back a step, and couldn't help the smug smirk that curved her lips. She knew that many people were uncomfortable with how carefree Kelvic were when it came to clothes, and personally, she found it to be an advantage in many situations. When his hand reached back, her lithe body tensed, and she danced back a step warily, her bright eyes never leaving his.

When he spoke, his voice was charming, even borderline seductive, and he was incredibly polite. Disgruntled, she looked away for a moment, pushing her tousled waves and curls of stark black hair out of her face.

When he spoke again, Elvyra looked back at him, her fangs flashing briefly once more. "Tavern? I know where the tavern is." She cast her vivid gaze up and down him, and snorted. It was all too clear that the man was new to Avanthal. Debating for a moment, she finally sighed, giving a small growl. "I guess I could," She shrugged her thin shoulders, moving forward. "Come on," she said, almost disdainfully. Her walk was smooth and clearly predatory, and her footsteps absolutely silent.

He followed her down the icy road, this time less caring about where his eyes drifted to. He glanced very briefly at her naked behind, thinking he would find some tail growing out of it. Some would consider Jase ignorant, but he begged to differ. Ignorance was when the individual didn't care to learn about something, but the sylirian's eyes were constantly flying all around, absorbing every detail and learning. That was what crossed the line between ignorance and curiosity in Jase's opinion.

He followed her through the streets and alleys wondering where they were going, all the while making a sketch of a map in his mind for future reference. "So, do you plan on putting on some clothes?" he asked tentatively , not wanting to offend her or her Kelvic ways. He awaited patiently for her reply, expecting some snarky response. So far, he wasn't very impressed by the Kelvics' hospitality, but hoped that one Kelvic wouldn't taint the entire reputation of the race.

"Do I look like I have any clothes with me?" She scowled, looking back at him, irritated. "Anyway, they're uncomfortable. I don't see how you wear them all day." She glanced back again, this time to examine his clothes and make a face. The chill of the north was starting to set in, but she didn't mind all that much.

Shaking her head, she stopped in front of The Red Diamond Tavern, looking back at him. "Here we are," She announced, briskly, gesturing towards the well-lit tavern, where voices and laughter were heard inside.

Jase looked up to the tavern sign with the words "The Red Diamond Tavern" painted in faded red paint. The old and cracked oaken door had taken a beating from the bitterly cold winters as he could clearly see. "Would you care for a pitcher of House wine?" Jase offered, to repay the young Kelvic for her assistance, "it's the least I can offer you for what you've done. I won't take no for an answer." he gave a flash of his brilliantly white teeth and asked in a way that was hard to refuse. "You seem to know your way around this place, and I'd be eternally grateful if you showed me around Avanthal."

He smiled again, as he noted the great fireplace with freshly cut logs that warmed up the room. It would seem that the gods had answered his prayers. All that was missing was the glass of red...

She quirked a brow, "Walking the streets is one thing, but I'm not sure how well people will react if I go in there stark naked," She told him, dryly. Normally, she wasn't one for crowded taverns and wine, but she figured she should at least try to make a friend, and he seemed very insistent that she go with him.

Shifting from foot to foot, the young Kelvic impatiently pushed her hair away from her face once more, the wind pushing it back. She was starting to feel the cold now, her bare feet going numb and the sharp wind nipping at her body like the teeth of an angry wolf.

He was a bit taken aback by what the Kelvic had said, not only for completely forgetting that she was completely nude in the cold, but the fact that he hadn't even asked her name. He felt like a complete fool for having forgotten his manners.

"Here's my offer," he mused, he removed his cloak so that all he had left underneath was his black woolen tunic, "my cloak... for your name".

Surprised, she blinked her bright silver eyes, looking at him warily. "Elvyra," She said, after a moment, her eyes flickering to his, suspiciously. She took the offered cloak with a muttered thanks, draping it over her shoulders. Being much thinner and shorter than the man, it trailed on the ground and she could easily pull it forward to cover her bare body. Holding it shut, she looked back up at him. "And you?" She asked, after a pause.
