Good idea. Though, honestly, Eorar's a bit shy at the moment and is hiding who he is behind a human morph, so Leigo probably wouldn't be able to tell anything more than he smell unnaturally like a fish. But then, everything in Zeltiva smells like fish.

Right, 3 things:

- I'm back, so give me a few days to catch up and get everything moving swiftly again.

- Thank you for giving our new AS a warm welcome. He is an amazing guy, so we're lucky to have him, and I hope you all agree when you see what he can do!

- Please direct all future Zeltivan grading requests to this handy dandy thread. I will move anything in future from my office to this thread - we are going to pool requests here so we can work on them more easily :) Season wage/xp requests are now done here too!

High God Para and I have been working on a few more open plots that are storm related for spring, including one new area of the city which will be pretty cool. Our plates are still pretty clear so before our fountain of enthusiasm fills them up I wanted to take a chance to ask all of you!

Is there ANYTHING in particular you want to see in Zeltiva has a result of the storm? Not just places but people ideas politics threads magical influences, anything!

And, are there any storm related or recovering from storm related quests you would all be interested in High God Para and I developing for you guys?

Please keep in mind all of these quests should be open to the people, so any players who want to can join in. The storm effected us all, and we must rebuilt together. This is why I want you all to have a say in how we do it.

I'm just wondering how effected the kitchens of the University might have been effected building wise besides the food rationing.

the Kitchens themselves are structurally sound, all being on the lower level. So no need to worry about those. But yes the food rationing is quite an issue indeed, especially after the forty second or so.

If you mean during the storm itself, wind racing through the place would dampen and extinguish all of the candles, and at the height of the storm might be enough to toss some things around even inside, but nothing heavy. Glass and even ceramics however could be dangerous so hunkering down int he kitchen during the storm, not a good idea.

We're all caught up on grading guys - thank you so much for your patience!

I will try and make the final Winter Ball post over the next few days, I'm sorry for being so out of kilter. I'm aware I have modded threads to reply to as well, so I will gradually work my way through those.

The Winter Ball is over - thank you SO MUCH to all who participated and stuck with it, I hope you had as much fun as I had. It's very possible I've missed something with the XP since there was so much to grade, so let me know if you think I missed something. I'd really appreciate it if you could fill this in for me, just post your responses here. It will help me make Act II even more fun! Thanks.

[Zeltiva OOC] The Common Room

Postby Avari on March 13th, 2012, 6:11 pm

Thanks for running the Winter Ball plot, Paragon. It was quite fun, and I admit I was on pins and needles waiting to see how things would turn out. Congratulations to Elem Bree for getting a gnosis mark from Rak'keli out of it! I'm looking forward to Act 2, which should be even more interesting in the aftermath of the Djed storm.

Here's my feedback form:

What did you most enjoy about the quest? Finding out about the crisis in the Archives Building
What did you least enjoy about the quest? Socializing at the Winter Ball
How would you improve the quest if it was done again? Not sure. Paragon modded some of the PCs (Faylon, Trente) more than I expected, but I doubt the players minded. I kind of wish the ball hadn't been so university-oriented and had simply been a city-wide celebration or festival, as I had a hard time justifying my character's presence there and thus only decided to join the quest at the last minute. Making the ball a university event made it feel like it was aimed primarily toward student PCs, which admittedly does describe most of the PCs in Zeltiva, but not all.
Did you feel like you were able to play a part in the quest? Yes
Did you feel Paragon posted enough, too little, or too much? Enough
How much freedom did you feel you had within the quest? Plenty
Rate the quest overall (with 1 being terrible, and 10 being fantastic) 8
Any other comments? (optional) I hope Avari gets to meet the thief and learn how he broke into one of the most heavily guarded buildings in Zeltiva. :)

[Zeltiva OOC] The Common Room

Postby Faylon Kwanda on March 13th, 2012, 8:40 pm

What did you most enjoy about the quest? Pretty much everything to be honest. As a character I don't have Faylon interact with many pc's so it was nice to get him talking a bit. Especially with Idue. I enjoyed that.

What did you least enjoy about the quest? Nothing really comes to mind as my least favorite aspect of this quest.

How would you improve the quest if it was done again? I don't think I would. This quest played out like the first part of a mystery and not a hack and slash fest which is how I believe it is intended. I like the mystery aspect of the quest. It definately keeps you intrigued.

Did you feel like you were able to play a part in the quest? Yes.

Did you feel Paragon posted enough, too little, or too much? Enough.

How much freedom did you feel you had within the quest? A lot. I feel I was pretty much able to do everything that I wanted.

Rate the quest overall (with 1 being terrible, and 10 being fantastic): 7. I'm a fan of a lot ofaction but on that note I enjoyed this quest more than I was expecting and I do believe I could be brought around to becoming more of a fan of mystery if the rest are like this.

Any other comments? Thanks for healing me all spiffy. You can't even tell Faylon got shanked. Hahahah.
