The Common Room

Since I like to have my word count to stay way over my post count, I'm going to multitask in this post, I was wondering if any budding student would like to room with me this season. I need a roommate to bunk with. And if any of you people are taking courses that I am (Auristics and Zeltivan History), I'd love to do group class threads of just solos. I doubt anybody will be taking the history class, but I'm sure one of you Auristics students (if there are any) would like to do class threads with me. And finally, I am open for threads to do.

Now here is my feedback for the Seasonal Quest:

What did you most enjoy about the quest?	I especially loved how Trente turned the advice I thrusted upon him and spread it to the crowd. Unexpected and brillant.
What did you least enjoy about the quest?	I was eager to get in a fight, but by no means did that ruin the quest at all
How would you improve the quest if it was done again?	I don't think there would be a need to redo the thread since it worked out fine the first time.
Did you fell like you were able to play a part in the quest?	Yes
Did you feel Paragon posted enough, too little, or too much?	Enough
How much freedom did you feel you had within the quest?	I had all the freedom I needed
Rate the quest overall (with 1 being terrible, and 10 being fantastic)	8
Any other comments? (optional)	Personally, I think having a lore of Rak'keli would be nice, since this applies to several of us. She didn't address most of us, but we did witness her. Maybe a Lore of Witnessing Rak'keli in person, or something along those lines. But other than that, I was satisifed. And eager for the second Act

I'll comment on the feedback properly at a later date - but point taken, Idue. I've amended the rewards. Everyone can take "Witness of Rak'keli's Light", since only Elem saw her personally.

What did you most enjoy about the quest?	Receiving an unexpected Gnosis mark and being able to apply medical aid.
What did you least enjoy about the quest?	Nothing. It was all good.
How would you improve the quest if it was done again?	Nothing to improve upon. I would have liked a final wrap up post to tie all the particular PC's ends up, but perhaps that will occur in the next part.
Did you feel like you were able to play a part in the quest?	Absolutely.
Did you feel Paragon posted enough, too little, or too much?	Enough.
How much freedom did you feel you had within the quest?	Total freedom.
Rate the quest overall (with 1 being terrible, and 10 being fantastic)	9
Any other comments? (optional)	I like the feedback form and may steal the idea, with a mention to Paragon. I also need an SS thread and the particulars written so I can write in Spring properly. Have an overwhelming amount of people to save.

What did you most enjoy about the quest?	I felt the Socialization went very smoothly, not as choppy as I thought it would. Perfect environment for my character and a great introduction thread for him. Also gave me a good feel for all the players and characters in the city. As well as a taste for all of them.
What did you least enjoy about the quest?	I felt there was a fair chunk of time omitted when Faylon took his fall. Pretty much everybody got put on hold without warning.
How would you improve the quest if it was done again?	I would have Paragon wrap the thread up like he did, but also allow players to post final thoughts after the grading, as an extro to the thread.
Did you feel like you were able to play a part in the quest?	Yes, I felt everybody did. As well as leaving room for more personal expression, very good.
Did you feel Paragon posted enough, too little, or too much?	Too much. I'd like less posts more detail! And less controlling players. (Note: The part with both Trente and Faylon were agreed upon OOC) But, I felt much as if the NPCs floated in like ghosts said what they had to say then floated out without any real interactions. I would like more interactive NPCs, ones I can feel my character can actually reach out and touch. I realize this is hard in mass threads though.
How much freedom did you feel you had within the quest?	I felt there was full freedom to do anything Trente wanted.
Rate the quest overall (with 1 being terrible, and 10 being fantastic)	7. I really enjoyed it a lot, and it actually kept me interested all the way to the end! That's awesome.
Any other comments? (optional)	Paragon you did great and thank you. But, also thank you for all the PCs they were really cool and fit together so well. I especially loved to see the unexpected way everybody clicked and split up. Very cool. See you all in Aci II!

Ok, guys. Quick lecture here on magic. If you have 0 points in something magical don't start a thread off where your character can spout off everything from the wiki page. 0 means nothing, notta. it means you need a thread where your character goes and learns this stuff.

Trust me, I know how exciting it is to throw fire balls talk to ghosts or have a familiar, but you can't just jump right in like that from step one. Trust me magic means a lot more when you do it right. Do your part to keep magic in Mizahar rare and meaningful! Do a thread or three on how your characters learns the BASICS.

If you have any trouble with this, please PM me or Para we can help you figure out how to accomplish this. If the power isn't worth the time to do a basic knowledge acquisition thread, you don't want it enough

Hey all,

I've got an open thread in the Infirmary for the massive healing effort going on there. It is tagged for injured and med students, so if you would like to join in, you need to fall into one of those categories. If you are injured, you will pick your injuries and wait to be treated. If you are a med student, all hands on deck. Paragon can run Claira if he wants, but I was going to have her out of sight mostly, so if you want some hands on training and want to help, we can use you!

Give me two or three days and I'll be one of the patients. I might be able to squeeze in an initial post faster, but the rest of the roleplay will probably have to wait till Sunday as I'm away for most of Friday and Saturday.

For those of you that missed out on all the violence in the Winter Ball here is a new formal invitation to a little more rowdy social event.

On the tenth of the months the first large riot breaks out on the docks of Zeltiva as a shipment of supplies arrive from Syliras. The last one for a while...

Will you steal your share, or help make sure the food is evenly distributed? Don't leave it in the NPC's hands to stop this! They will fail without you... which could be kinda funny...
