Oluse bounced around the clinic excitedly working away at any stray jobs that had yet to be done. He felt free at last, a long several month last, absolutely bubbling with energy and pride. His superiors had finally given him the clear to work on his own, without any supervision. This had been a huge vote of confidence for the boy, nearly unheard of at his age, and he couldn't wait to get to a one on one practice with patients without having a senior member of the crew doing all of the difficult tasks for him. Little did he know there would be more than one moment within his next session he would really wish that another person were there to answer question for him.
The door opened and Oluse hurried toward the front with an excited smile. Before bothering to look at the man he lended a wide grin and recited his greeting. "Hello there, Sir! Welcome to the Whitevine Clinic! My name is Oluse Fortis-Saro and I'll be administering for you today! Please make yourself comfortable and tell me what what you need fixed. We can go into a more private room if you'd like." He paused a moment, look up at the corner of the room a moment as he thought to himself, then quickly continued. "Oh yeah, and don't fret. I may be young but I am an experienced physician who has had both theoretical and practical training. So please feel at ease in my care."
The man was Vantha, standing at only a few inches taller than Oluse himself. Handsome enough, and in his late twenties. He gave only a blank expression at the exuberant ranting child before him as first, then gave a slow and deliberate nod. "Right." He spoke in a deep and calm voice, as if he were trying to encourage Oluse to use his inside voice. "I guess I would like to talk in private." He said quietly.
Oluse nodded eagerly and lead him off. "Of course, Sir. Please head this way. What was your name again?" As they walked he thought to look the man over. He wasn't spouting blood as far as Oluse could see, and he wasn't favoring either foot. He looked at the man's face, and though seeming a bit drowsy he didn't seem overtly sick.
"Kiorit." The Vantha answered informally, and follow Oluse into the room, closing the door behind him, and taking a seat without prompting.
