He has long, brown hair with light brown roots that blends together with a soft golden hue. His eyes betray his true heritage, the brown iris' being very large with very little whites able to be seen; the eyes of an eagle. Vor is of moderate build, defined yet far from massive. Around six feet tall and weighing 180 lbs, his stature is not overly impressive and Vor doesn't carry himself as such. Despite this, Vor is stronger than his appearance may otherwise dictate; another trait owed to his bestial side. His eyes are constantly moving, watching, observing everything around him. When he moves, it is deliberate, planned and bares the grace of a bird soaring through the sky. When taking his alternate form, Vor becomes a large, dark brown raptor with broad wings. Over three feet from the tip of his beak to the tips of his tail feathers, he sports a wingspan of just shy of eight feet. He weighs 16 lbs as an eagle with feathers colored primarily brown, with gold on the back of his crown and nape, and some grey on his wings and tail. His bill is dark at the tip, fading to a lighter horn color, with a yellow cere. Although not nearly as large as the Giant Eagles of Windreach, Vor's eagle form is one of the larger natural specimens of its breed. Character History Vor was born to a falcon Kelvic father and a white fox Kelvic mother. The two lived among the Drykas as part of the Diamond Clan. They complimented each other; his father, skilled hunter in the air and his mother even more so on the ground. His father, Vykav Windstrider, was a respected hunter of his pavilion. When his mother became pregnant, his parents, both followers of Zulrav asked the God to bless their child. Their prayers were answered when Vor was born with a unique birthmark on his shoulder. The mark resembled a hurricane, actively swirling upon the flesh. A Stormwarden at birth, Vor was prized even more by his parents as they saw him as being a gift form Zulrav. In a very short time, his parents realized that Vor possessed natural talents inherited from the both yet he was quite different from the two physically. While his mother was a white fox and his father a falcon, Vor's first transformation revealed him to be just as unique. His rapid aging brought Vor's maturation to occur quite expediently. Within just over a month, Vor evaded his parents long enough to approach a small cliff along the Suvan Coast of Cyphrus. Unable to control the strange feelings that drove him there, Vor looked out over the water and felt almost as comforted by the view as he did in his mother's arms. It was then that Vor was filled with an unexplainable feeling of joy, ecstasy and release as the transformation overcame him. In but an instant, a magical force consumed his body and gave him wings, feathers, a beak, Vor was transformed into the shape of an eagle, a golden eagle of a somewhat significant size. Stretching his wings for the first time, Vor took to the air. With the wind rushing past him, Vor quickly began to understand that the wind was his friend. He could hear words and voices carried by the wind. The air blowing past him felt as comfortable as talking to an old friend. He opened his beak and a shrill cry echoed forth. With each cry he found himself gaining a slight boost of speed, a gust of wind at just the right moment, the smell of prey on the horizon; he was at home in the sky as he was on land. Soaring overhead, Vor allowed himself to vanish into the beauty of flight. In the short time following his birth, his parents introduced him to the joy of the hunt. He witnessed his mother taking down countless small game throughout the grasslands with his father hovering overhead offering his keen sight. As an eagle, Vor quickly began to understand his own talents. He learned early on of his taste for rabbits. His first one, Vor saw it from almost a mile away; the rabbits movement was quick yet noticeable to the enhanced vision that Vor found himself in possession of. With the aid of his friend, the wind, Vor attained an unnatural speed as he closed in on his prey. Positioning himself into a dive, Vor plummeted toward his target; his claws open. In a blink of an eye he struck; the rabbit pierced by his talons and lifted into the air. The meal held the greatest taste ever experienced before and after that moment. While Vor''s relationship with his parents was more than positive, in a short amount of time, he realized that he was unable to bond with either one of them. This inability to create those mystical ties experienced by the Kelvic upon others caused him to quickly, within a couple of years, realize that his purpose in life did not reside with his parents. By the time he was four years of age, Vor accepted the fact that he had to seek out his true purpose elsewhere. Bidding farewell to his parents, Vor took the air and let the winds guide him where they would. It was the winds that brought him to Riverfall. A vastly different people, a different culture, it was a new world filled with new experiences and great potential that drove Vor toward discovery. Driven by the need for companionship and new experiences, Vor decided that Riverfall was the perfect location for both.

Abilities Shapeshifting - As a Kelvic, Vor possesses the ability to shift his form from a human to that of a large golden eagle and back again. In this form, Vor has the full flight ability of an eagle and while in the air, can carry up to his own weight of 16lbs. His piercing talons can grip with a force 12 times greater than even the strongest normal human. As an eagle, Vor can reach a speed of around 200 mph, with the right winds, while soaring toward a target with folded wings. Heightened Senses - As a Kelvic, Vor's senses as an eagle transfer to his human form. He sees in color like a human yet his eyes see sharpness at least four times greater that of a human with perfect vision. His vision is so great that he could identify a rabbit from a mile away. As an eagle flying at an altitude of 1000 feet over open land, he could spot prey over an area of almost 3 square miles from a fixed position. Claimed Territory Vor claims a vast swath of land as his territory; roughly 60 square miles of the Cyphrus region with Riverfall being his central habitation. Understandable, Vor can't possible defend this entire territory continuously. Thus, while laying the loose claim to the larger territory, he regularly defends the lands immediately surrounding Riverfall from potential competition and threats or to simply show off a bit of male dominance. Vor maintains a small cave set high into the cliffs near Riverfall. Abandoned when he found it, Vor now uses it as a place to get away from things; a place to think and listen to the wind. As is the case with many Kelvic relationships, his father and mother, their bond strong and their time together great, fell in love. They complimented each other; his father a strong, skilled hunter and his mother even more so. His father, Vykav Windstrider, a Stormwarden of Zulrav, was a well-respected member of his pavilion. When his mother became pregnant, his parents asked Zulrav to bless the child. Their prayers were answered when Vor was born with a unique birthmark on his shoulder. The mark resembled a hurricane, actively swirling upon the flesh. A Stormwarden at birth, Vor was prized even more by his parents as they saw him as being a gift form Zulrav. On the day of Vor's birth, Zulrav's marked the occasion with a raging storm that erupted around his family's pavillion. Great winds, booming thunder and sky-shattering lightning whipped, ripped and tore its way across the grasslands as Zulrav celebrated the birth of another Stormwarden. At first, his parents were unaware of Vor's kelvic nature. This aspect of his birth was likely overshadowed by the unique, swirling, hurricane-shaped image covering his right shoulder. Immediately, Vor's parents recognized the significance of the child's birth and his father gave him the name of his own father, Vor Windstrider, also a Stormwarden. The first Vor, a priest of Zulrav, died in a Zith attack on his pavillion. Vor stood against the Zith, unleashing the fury of Zulrav while taking out dozens of the foul creatures before he fell to overwhelming numbers. His sacrifice gave the pavillion the chance to fallback, regroup and ultimately fight off the Zith. Honoring his father's sacrifice and the significance of his son being born with Zulrav's mark, Vykav gave his son the name, Vor. Vor's Kelvic nature became apparent in a very short amount of time due to his rapid aging. Following his first transformation into an eagle, Vor discovered his affinity for the wind. During his initial flight, amidst the joy and exhilaration of it all, he had some difficult becoming accustomed to using his wings to carry him. His new form, while feeling as natural as being human, caused a moment of confusion which sent him into a deadfall while he struggled to regain control over his body. At just the right moment, with just the right amount of lift, a strong updraft caught hold and helped Vor right himself. It was then that he began to understand the bond she shared with the wind. From there, he began to grow that bond, communicating and befriending the wind as if it were a sentient being.

On one hand, I am a man of the grasslands; born on the plains, welcomed into the world by thunder and lightning. I am a bit rough around the edges; loose, wild hair and a little unshaven on the face. Slightly tanned, I pride myself in keeping a lithe, defined shape though marred by a few scars. The other me, a great bird of prey; king of the skies, bares my nobility. Lustrous golden brown feathers, expansive wings and a sharp, predatory face with large, observant eyes, they are both me. 2. Describe yourself as others typically see you. - Others see me as something of an oddity; a darkly clothed man always on on the fringe; never quite fitting in with others. I watch people; my eyes taking in everything around me. To many, this is somewhat unnerving as not everyone appreciates being looked at so closely. 3. What is your favorite body feature? - As a human, my hair is my favorite body feature. As an eagle, my wings are my favorite feature; able to carry me through the sky as if I were the wind itself. 4. How physically fit are you? - Thanks to my winged half, I remain rather fit. Long flights and taking down prey brings with it not only a wealth of scars but also strength and agility. 5. How do you typically dress and what is your style? - I dress very simply due to the need to quickly shed clothing before transformation from human to eagle. Do you treat animals like family? - I treat other animals like prey or potential mates. Thus in some cases, I guess the answer would be yes, I would likely treat some animals like family. If you could live anywhere in Mizahar where would that be? - I haven't been anywhere but the region of Cyphrus so I don't know how to answer this. 4. I speak Common rather fluently; picked up from a couple of years of traveling about the Cyphrus Region. I also speak basic Pavi learned from my family and from interactions with the Drykas. Finally, I understand and can communicate with raptors and similar birds of prey. I use the Common language with a soft, quiet voice with a slight accent. 4. Do you have any odd mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics? - I tend to watch people a lot which is somewhat unnerving to some. I have often been accused of staring. 5. Do you have (or want to get) any tattoos or piercing? Why do you have them (or will get them) ? - I don't have any tattoos or piercings. I don't know if I will get any in the future. Occupations : 1. Why not? - While I want to be close to people, it isn't always easy. I am not fond of overly restrictive rules which tends to keep me involuntarily distanced from others. 2. It was a short-lived relationship as I didn't see her as a bondmate and moved on soon after. 5. Have you ever had sex? If so, describe the first time. - Yes. It was with the same girl whom I shared my first kiss with. Though passionate and exciting, there was something that didn't feel quite right likely due to her not being my bondmate.
