Aeryna's vivid blue eyes swept around as she stepped into the somewhat dingy tavern. The Drunken Fish. Gazes looked up at her, curiously, and eyes followed her to an empty table near the corner. As social as she was, she figured it would be best to sit on her own for awhile and just observe.

She felt Muir, who'd been slinking along by her side, claw up her legs and curl up on her lap, whistling and chirping. She absently stroked her slim fingers over the soft fur of his head, beckoning a waiter over.

"A mug of ale," She said to the young, slim boy. He nodded, and slipped off. Aery sat back, examining the men and few women in the tavern. Most of them held ragged looks to them, dark gleams in their eyes as several glanced over at her, talking among themselves. By the time the waiter returned, two men had been punched across the face, and another three had gotten into a brawl. Thanking the boy absently and tossing him an extra copper Miza along with the payment for the ale, she smiled to herself as she took a deep drink from the mug. She had a feeling she'd like this place.

Muir, on the other hand, didn't seem to. His small ears were flat against his skull, his small fangs flashing as he growled every so often, nipping at Aeryn's fingers once or twice in his unease. Each time, the Svefra girl simply lightly tapped his nose and hushed him.

Aeryna took another drink of the ale, running her tongue over her full lower lip, smoothing her hands down over the layered scarves that were draped and tied over her hips. Her tousled hair was braided with coloured beads and feathers as usual, and she fiddled with the hem of her blouse absently. Shouts broke out as another scuffle ensued, and Aery drank deeply from her mug, watching with a grin on her lips.

Laughter followed as one of the men went crashing to the ground, and Aeryna laughed as well, shaking her head. He'd made a foolish mistake, one only truly novice brawlers made. Settling back, she swore when Muir nipped her hand once more, this time drawing blood from her fingertip. Sucking on the wound, she ushered him off her lap. "Off with you, then, if you don't like it here. Go find something to do," She scolded him half-heartedly in Fratava, and the otter quickly scampered off, unnoticed in the flickering shadows on the floor.

Leaning back, she crossed a booted foot over her knee, watching the other patrons of the tavern, listening to them argue, laugh and fight, amusement crossing her face. She was glad she'd decided to come to Sunberth, despite her welcoming to the lawless city.

Making Friends (Closed) [Aeryna Seaworth, Cade]

The berthian barbarian was one of those invovled in the 'merry making' with in the bar as he squared off to his fellow brawler assuming the martial arts forward stance, his left leg forward with toes pointing straight out and his dominant right back spaced slight more than shoulder width apart with the foot angled at thirty degrees. His torso and hips fell in line together with his feet, squaring up and facing forward. His left knee bent and his right leg straight, the barbarian shifted his majority of his weight to his front foot and therefore the rest to the rear. this allowed his front foot to be a powerful anchor from that he may pivot and pounce powerful attacks on his enemy. Cade's right hand and forearm guarded his upper body whereas his left hand was positioned a hands length in front of his face. Face forward, the barbarian held the position letting his muscles assimilate to it.

Cade's opponent came at him as they began the clashing of arms, the crumpling impacts of fists on flesh. His movements became quicker and more precise. The uneasy hesitation washed away with the laboured sweat flowing freely from him with in the slight breeze coming in through the door and off the sea.

the barbarian from the forward stance threw a left jab at his opponents face, quickly followed by a front kick from his right leg to the male human drunkard's mid-section. He then Pivoted off his left leg, his right was currently now his lead foot and his forward stance was the reverse from what he started with. His attacks didn't failed to stop as for as his right leg fell into place while his right arm came through for a strait punch to his opponents chest. His enemy countered the strait with a downward block and followed up with a strait right of his own to Cade’s face. He quickly brought his left hand up in an upward block, parrying the man's attack, followed up by his left knee pulling up and thru to the forward position making some area between him and his friend. together with his left arm still cross body from the upward block, Cade created a hammer fist and smashed it downward and to the left aiming for the spot where his enemy's neck met his shoulder. Quickly swaying back, the man avoided the attack however the half blood myrian was relentless. Attacking with a right cross strike immediately followed up by a left uppercut, Cade had his opponent rearing and off balance. Pivoting on his left foot, Cade continued the assault with a right kick that caught his opponent within the ribs briefly stunning him. Seeing this chance, Cade hurled a back hand fist, from his right, into the opponent’s temple effectively staggering the man.

A wolfish grin formed up Cade's bruised face as he took up the boxer's stance, his feet shoulder width apart and leafed to his staggered opponent. The barbarian shifted his weight to his left leg, pivoting his right foot so that his toes were pointing forward and simultaneously striking out with a right punch. The impact of his fist upon the man's face, knocked his head back and forcing him to stumble backwards still in a state of senselessness.

Cade retracted his hand instantly after the punch was landed, returning his body back to its original stance. The barbarian then pounced forward getting back in range of his staggering foe shifting his weight to his right foot, pivoting on his left while rotating his body and striking out with his left arm at a ninety degree angle, landing a vicious left hook into the rib cage of the man taking the wind out from his lungs as he could feel the man's ribs crack, but his relentlessness to cling to consciousness. The half blood myrian brought his left hand back and regaining his position. Then once again he lashed out at the defenceless man, this time with a right hook with all the same body motions just reverse from the left, impacting the man on the jaw staggering him to Cade's right, yet still standing to the barbarian's amazement.

Cade moved back into his original stance while stepping once again into range, knee bent while lowering his shoulder as he dropped the right side of his body in a semi crouch position remembering to keep his left fist up by his chin to protect his head. He rotated his hips forward, pushing on the ball of is back foot, punching his right fist up towards the man's chin in a powerful uppercut keeping his arms bent at a right angle for the most power through delivery and follow through. The drunkard's head snapped back as blood and fragments of teeth spat from his mouth gap as his hands fell limp to his sides crumpling to the ground infront of the bar and at the feet of a beautiful woman.

The barbarian raised his arms in victory to the applause to those that were watching but it was the woman that caught his attention, her eyes were very much the same as his, crystal blue hues of the ocean picked her off as svefran. He lowered his arms and wiped the blood from his face walking over the body towards the lady born of the sea. He took up a seat to her left, the barmaid quickly placing a horn of mead close to his grasp.

"You care for company....... drinking alone is a bore?" The savage asked holding the horn in his left hand waiting for an answer before he took a drink. He was still pumped from the fight and that part of the night life thrill was completed and was always best to follow up with female companionship. Was always a good order to follow.

Making Friends (Closed) [Aeryna Seaworth, Cade]

Aeryna noticed a particularly violent fight going on, and directed her attention to it, drinking deeply from her tankard. Her vivid blue eyes watched the fight over the rim of her mug, as she leaned forward in interest.

A tall man, with rippling muscles and long black hair, was mercilessly beating a smaller, more wiry man. He fought with precision, his movements quick as he moved without falter, not a single one of his hits missing.

More interested than ever, Aery set her mug down and leaned forward, her eyes fastened on the larger man. She watched the other man's fist connect with the barbarian's face, but clearly, he'd lost the advantage in the fight long ago.

Aeryna was engrossed. She could fight well enough without her cutlass, but never like that. She'd seen some rather professional brawlers in her time, but she had yet to see anything like this.

She watched as the barbarian's fist struck the other man's temple, sending him reeling. He changed positions, and he struck the man's face, his face concentrated and a roguish smirk on his lips.

The black-haired man quickly sent a vicious punch to the smaller man's side, and then he dropped into a crouch before exploding upwards with a sharp punch to beneath the jaw. The smaller man went flying, and Aery didn't so much as bat an eye as he landed at her feet, small clicks audible as shattered pieces of the man's teeth bounced across the floor.

Aeryna joined the cheering of the other patrons of the bar, grinning as she turned away from the scene to take another gulp of ale. She felt someone sit to her left, and a voice spoke up. Looking up, Aery saw none other than the barbarian she'd just been so enthralled with as he fought.

His skin had a faint sheen of sweat, and faint traces of blood lingered on his face as he looked down at her. Aeryna chuckled, grinning crookedly at him as she swirled the ale in her tankard.

"Most definitely," She agreed readily, "Company is always welcome." She watched him drink deeply from the horn, drumming her slender fingers on the bar.

"You're quite a fighter," She commented somewhat wistfully. She had to admit, she definitely admired the man's fighting. With a grin, she joked, "I'm tempted to ask for lessons from you."

Turning to face him, leaning against the bar, she cocked a brow. "I'm Aeryna," She said, offering the man one of her hands.
