The unforgiving wilderness, a huge range of mountains and frozen cold. Today there was only a few clouds, perfect for following known trails or a single road to sultros or following away from sultros, depending on which one you are, for Carindir a Isur attempting to find his father, was leaving sultros but the road ahead seemed blank, he only had one clue on where his father went: Black Rock he was driven to foolish determination to find the fate of his father, and today was a perfect day to leave the mountain. But it didn't remain like that for long, the wind started picking up. He had to double his pace or he could be threatened by getting stuck in a storm, his path was cut short.
Carindir walked down the rocky trail, he was getting fatigued and the wind was picking up. He couldn't get caught in the middle of a storm, not now, he needed to make progress. But who knows what he might encounter, there is a lot of danger in these mountains. He needed to be cautious he needed to be wary. "Hey, Isur" he heard a commanding voice call out, bandits.. It was seemingly rare to see bandits foolish enough to stay in such a cold, threatening and un-scalable mountains, but he knew their camp had to be near. They wouldn't be that stupid to stray far from their camp.
"Your Gold Miza's, now." Carindir looked around at them, they seemed uneasy about the amount of weapons he had, they all looked like kids. They didn't wield their weapons properly, except for one, and he looked like the leader, there was six - No seven... but they looked pitiful he thought he could take them, if he can take the time to draw his battle-axe. "Are you deaf? Gold, and weapons. NOW!" They started shifting closer to him, ready to attack him, Carindir smirked pulling on the release key on the shield it spread out into the form of a large shield, the bandits flinched as its fans stretch out. "Catch!" He Undid the straps to his shield quickly and threw it at one side of the bandits, they caught it stumbling back and then letting it fall. He gripped onto his short sword hard and threw it at the leader, it spun at him and cut across his shoulder before flying to some god forbidding location.
He quickly grasped the hilt of his battle-axe which was strapped onto his back, and pulling releasing it and stepping into a battle-ready stance. "Who's first?" Three charged at the same time, they were staggering, they were stupid, he dodged the first slash thrown at him the blocked the next. Kicking one of the bandits in the groin, the bandit stumbled back holding his stomach and crotch. He then turned to the bandit charging at him, he locked into a struggle with him, he had to act fast or he would get stabbed in the back. He pushed on the bandits weapon with whom he was in a locked stance with, he fell over and Carindir spun around to another bandit lunging his sword, Decapitating him, Carindir watched as his head fell and the lifeless body jerking then falling to the ground, blood splattering over the ground and in Carindir's face.
He quickly turned to the bandit that he kicked in the groin, he gained his footing and was standing before him. Carindir was offering them quick deaths, if he could... He swung his battle axe at the mans neck, he dodged backwards his chin lowering in front of his neck - A foolish move as the blade of Carindir's axe didn't connect with his neck but with his jaw. He watched as his jaw fell to the ground, blood was pouring he was twitching and crying a little a bit: He was still alive.. For a long painful seconds before falling over his body still jerking and twitching on the ground laying beside his bloody jaw. It wasn't over yet though.. No.. Two down, five more to go. He could see the worry in their expressions as they stepped back fearing for their lives.
