Physical Description Name: Soray Race: Nuit Age: 199 Birthday: 312AV, Season of Winter Gender: Currently female
The storm has left many people dead and as such Soray has had the pick of the litter. This time choosing a femal vessel and staying with her usually choosen child-like form. The body she inhabits is young, looking around the age of 10 or 11, originally a nice bronze skinned girl with bright eyes and very healthy body. A little worn from the sometimes harsh desert life but otherwise unscathed. Upon entering the body it has showed signs of customary decay and life that is no longer there. Heavy circles under her eyes that no amount sleep could rid the body of and her tongue turning a heavy ink black. The body has stayed the same relative weight though, being a small twiggish being to begin with.

Soray has no real remembrance of her life before becoming a Nuit. Only of what followed after and what she has been told. The story of her life told to her as if one told a tale of some stranger.
“The child was diseased. Mental injuries, the mind lived in the same day. Unable to move forward with life though the body gradually left without the mind. It was painful for them—to watch their only child—the only one they could have—be riddled with such problems.
But do not think them cruel. They tried, hard. Harder than most would have, struggling to keep up with their child’s defectiveness. You can’t have expected them to cope forever though. They grew weary. Fortunately for the child they didn’t wish to give up. They took the young one to an island they had heard of in rumors. An island filled with woman of white. Pure little things with a good hand for fixing what was broken.
For the child though, all the fixing did was erase what once was. Nothing was left but a doll. Or a baby. A newborn, in fact. The parents gladly fixed that up right quick. A smart child, knowledgeable, grasping onto whatever came their way and holding tight to it. Not for long though, nearly drowned.
No one knows what the child was doing out there. All alone, not fitting for a child but out there all the same. Poor thing fell in a hole and it rained for days and days. The body got ill, almost dead when they found the child. Seemed the body’s dying wouldn’t stop though. It was too sick and it would take too long to return to the little island of white.
They found someone else. Promised to fix the poor thing up right quick. But when it woke and was returned, the child wasn’t their child…it was you.”
512AV
Currently she lives in Yahebah and has forgone a house due to the storm and the amount of time she plans on staying.
Character Concept Having died around her teen years—and still a young Nuit—but stuck with the mentality of a child Soray still holds many of those characteristics. Like a child she hates to actually work and as such she doesn't consider her job a job but 'fun'. At times she is prone to whining, especially when things do not go her way.
But that is where her innocence ends. Quiet save for when she is telling stories (aka lying) she is a forceful and manipulative individual. Gently but consistently urging things to go her way with endless patience. Courteous but also curt, she keeps things brief and to the point. Not quick to trust but she is quick to judge those by minor details. Stubborn and steadfast she will stick to any task until it is complete. Soray enjoys order and chaos as well as disorganization irks her to no end. She is not easily surprised and tends to find everything boring, which is perhaps why she enjoys fictional stories so much.
Of course nothing is a simple as it seems. Though she seems to be content, if not bordering on self-destruction as some Nuits are she clings to her only purpose in life. A purpose she otherwise seems to ignore save for being able to say she has one and inches her way towards. This purpose being also fairly simple.
To end her bloodline.
Any and all related to her family that abandoned her after giving her such a fate. Whatever her feelings are on the matter she keeps to herself, her true reasoning not quite understood, even to herself at times. Still she has vowed this and even in their reincarnation she hopes to end their lives early, wishing to find a way to stop their rebirth and destroy the soul itself. She clings to this purpose with a simple minded obsession--for in her life there is nothing else.
