There has been someone following them and it was all the way from Kenash? "You should have told me earlier." This was no longer anything about mutual protection now that Alistair put Skram in danger as well. Whatever was chasing Alistair was driven. It made Skram wish that he already reached Endrykas because now not only they would have to contend with the dangers of the grasslands but their unknown adversary.
In great haste, Skram was back on his cart again leading his horse forward until he was beside Alistair. "This calls for hazard pay you know?" he asked jokingly while he looked around again and led them towards Endrykas. This was going to be a long journey now since "we are going to have to set up camp a whole lot sooner. To make sure that we are well defended" but without knowing against what, just how effective would it be?
Unless Alistair had something to say or ask, the entire journey would be in silence while Skram was focused on looking out for signs of trouble. Every so often he would get the cart to stop and take out his sighting lens to search but each time there would be nothing but grass and the occasional rock here and there. Uneasy he asked as the sun was setting "when you say your feeling never fails, do you mean that you find something? Are they normally dangerous of just...animals?"
