Phobias anybody?

I have a case of homophobia. I totally support gay rights, but just being near homosexual things freak me out.

I also have a fear of conspiracies against me. I'm occasionally prone to bouts of paranoia, but usually I can dispel them with logic and self-reassurance and a supportive network of friends. Without those though, I jump at shadows.

I have a terrible fear of birds. They're so creepy looking, with their bony feet and talons and beady little eyes ._. and so horribly unhygenic. Their feathers and stuff are pretty from a distance I guess, but I can't stand huge flocks or being within like ten feet of them. I will cross the street to avoid a few sparrows bathing in a puddle 0___0

I got chased by my friends cockatoo once. I cried like the little girl I was(n't). It was out for blood, I swear it.

Fear of clowns, claustrophobia, when it's really dark outside and people forget to close the curtains! Oh that freaks me out something chronic. And walking out into my garden when it's pitch black. And walking down long hallways when there's very little light.

I don't mind the dark, it's just when I can't see what's in the dark with me.. O_O

Claustrophobia is a big one for me as tight spaces are things I avoid like crazy. I use to have a fear of germs but have gotten over that for the most part though I do have good and bad days with it; I equate the fear to being the reason I enjoy cleaning so much. Clowns also happen to scare me thanks to various horror movies as a child, and being in the dark can scare me as well depending on the situation. Note it is not the actual darkness I find scary, but simply the possibility of what could be hiding in the dark(the only time my imagination seems to kick in.) Heights are also a huge problem for me as I cannot climb up a 'normal' size ladder to the top with shaking and sometimes panicking. My biggest fear however has to be, by far, 'dark' or murky water and aquatic life. If I cannot clearly see the through the water to the ground I am extremely uncomfortable around it and will not swim in it. This is much like the dark thing in that it is not water itself that scares me but instead the fact that I cannot see what lurks in the water. I will avoid any such water and if I somehow end up in it via being pushed an instant panic attack is going to happen, as it has every other time. The last fear I can think of is my dislike for intimate contact. I allow a select amount of people to physical hug me and nothing more, but should someone else do something like that I panic or break. Someone brushing against me, shaking hands, all that stuff I am perfectly fine with but hugging/holding hands or anything like that causes me to freeze up and mentally panic. It makes everything fun.

Also, centipedes and millipedes terrify me with their little legs and gross bodies.

Hm. When it comes down to it, I'm afraid of two things: sharks and rejection, haha.

And other areal stinging insects. I'll also develop temporRy phobias, like when i've watched a scry movie, i'll feel like the monsters are just waitingg that night to get me. Usually fades the next night, luckily though. I was once afraidofdogs, though, because my brother was bitten on the forehead when we both really young. And i was briefly afraid of water, i think because i fell off when innertubing, again, when i was young.

A silly one would problably be of patterns holes. Yes, that is actualy a real phobia.
