Physical Description: Pirika's most striking feature is her red hair common in the Inarta (although it is not quite as vibrant as many of the other Inarta) and her height (5'10"), she weighs 120lbs and has very pale skin. She has hazel eyes with flecks of gold that are considered quite mundane by her fellow yasi. Her hair is long and normally in a plait so as to keep it out of the way while she does her bendi.
Character Concept: Pirika has a good sense of right and wrong but is happy with her life in wind reach and hopes to be picked by an eagle to become an endal. Having never left her native city she sometimes finds herself slightly baffled by what goes on outside it. She enjoys spending time listening to traders in the market picking up languages.
Character History: Pirika was abandoned on the doorstep of the communal nursery as a baby, this is a commonplace in wind reach and as such she was raised as any other dek would be. The only thing left with her was a rosewood comb with river pearls embedded in it, this was considered unusual as very few dek have access to such things. Since then she has grown up with the other dek children in the nursery. Her favourite bendi is helping in the aeries. It was there that she found a raven fledgling with a broken wing, she took it home and raised it, luckily her races love of birds meant a healer treated it for practically nothing. She has tried to bond with a wind eagle several times but has so far failed.
