Spring 51. 512 AV The Stables.
Mishani was at the stables. She had never been there before. Probably because in her young days, she was afraid of horses. The hoof stomping of the horse hooves made her a little nervous, but she decided to not freak out this time. She had to win her fear, and the walked in the stable. It was pretty warm in there. But it smelled like... Well, horse poop. but that wasn't a big bother. He was used to smell that kind of thing in the docks. Not as horrible was this smell, nor was the sight either. In the docks, there were ugly sailors. Here... Just comfortable. A soft light and cozy surroundings. Then she heard a neigh. She gulped a little, but walked forward. She took small careful steps, just like she would be afraid that she would fall through the floor. But she wouldn't run away. She looked at the horses. She knew they sensed that she was afraid, and that made them a little nervous.
Mishani was just about to sit down in a pile of hay, when she heard the hoof stamping again. She pressed herself against the wall and took a deep breath. A horse was coming towards her, but luckily it got a rider. When they passed her, the rider looked at Mishani like she would be suspicious or something. She certainly looked like one of the suspicious horse thieves, but what was she able to do at it? Soon the two were gone, and she sighed in relief. She sat down in the pile of hay and leaned her head to her hands. Why did she come here? It was the stupidest idea she ever had. "Sure sure, I have to come over my fear for horses.. " She said sarcastically to herself.
