True Identities (Roka)

Kalila bit her bottom lip as she looked at his slightly puzzled expression, taking a deep breath to calm her nerves for what she was about to do. She looked around the room, moving to close the one window that she did have and pull the curtains over it, her hands shaking in the process. She then went and dragged a chair over to the door, sliding it under the handle so no one could come in on her and discover what was happening. She didn't look at Roka the whole time she did this, knowing she would lose what little nerve she had seemed to gain.

She walked back over to the end of her bed, opening the chest at the foot and pulling out a simple shift and placing it on the bed before she turned her back to him. "Jussst watch....but do not come closse until I get done,"she said quietly before she silently began to slip out of her clothes. She pulled her boots off before she began to undo the corset and shirt, slipping them over her head before she let her breeches puddle at her feet. She then took off the last remaining thing on her person, her brother's jade necklace that she laid carefully into the bed. Painfully self conscious that she was standing naked in front of him, she tried to let her mind go blank, focusing instead on the part of her that she tried not to tap into, the side that the valiantly tried to keep hidden from all.....including herself.

Her body shuddered once as her skin rippled, her hair receding into her head as her skin began to crack and her legs fuse together. Cream colored scales could now be seen all over her body while honey colored diamonds graced her back and arms, while her face seemed distorted and alien. Fangs now replaced her incisors while her nose had turned into two slits that flared when she breathed, her eyes while still gold, had turned into slitted pupils. She turned her body slightly to the side, her muscular coils turning her so the she could look at Roka's feet, not daring to look at the expression on his face. Her forked tongue slid out to her embarrassment, unconsciously and she looked away again, coiling her lower half tightly to her. An almost ten foot long Dhani was where a five foot woman stood, and she wasn't done changing yet. She then focused once more and her limbs fused to her upper body, and she shrank slightly in size, her skin rippling once again until a seven and a half foot viper lay curled at the foot of her bed. She laid there calmly for a few moments, her eyes taking in the various heat patterns that were about the room , her tongue picking up all of the scents before she changed herself back again.

After what seemed like forever, but in fact the whole transformation took about five minute, her skin and bones rearranged themselves to where a woman lay on her side on the floor, and she sat up slowly and reached for the shift that was on the bed, her back still to the person she was sure was going to hate her now. She pulled it over her head and sat there, pulling her knees to her chest as she waited with baited breath for the revulsion that was sure to come.

True Identities (Roka)

Postby Roka on April 26th, 2012, 2:50 pm

Roka's eyes widened in sudden surprise as the gradual transformation of his stunning flat mate over took her. The sheen of milky scales reflecting the light with each twist and turn, the familiar eyes that could not be mistaken, and the flicker of a double-edged tongue. Though he should have been frightened, for snakes were an enemy of a fox, and having encountered them on his journeys he found them as dangerous as he did curious. Still this was Kalila and that thought could not vacate his reeling thoughts, and he did not feel afraid. He remained silent through the entire transformation, enthralled more than detoured. He had never seen such a thing. Only ever had he witnessed the swirl of dotted lights as a Kelvic's body rearranged from beast to flesh and back. It was an entirely different experience.

He tried to imagine his own body contorting in such ways, for his true form would be that of beast, limbs slowly extending to rip away at tuffs of fur and features rearranging into a smoother surface. It seemed the same with most creatures of such a faction that eyes were truly windows to one's soul, even if you are not sure as to what it is you are beholding.

Roka came to her, stooping before her obvious self-conscious huddle and rested his hand on her bare leg. "Kalila" he offered her a comforting smile. "You have nothing to fear from me."

He looked down at his pale and skin covered hand "In fact, I have something I should show you as well..."

A pit dropped in his stomach, quiet wings beating about in his intestines. He rose and began to remove his own clothes. Lifting his top up over his head and tossing it aside. He looked into her curious face and chuckled. "Just watch, and try not to think of me any differently." for he found that to be his greatest fear. That she would suddenly change her attitude toward him and treat him less like himself.

He closed his eyes to inhale a calming lungful and allow the familiar sensation pull over his body in a swirling storm of crystalline light that tormented around his frame until he was engulfed with it.

As the light faded, before her sat a quizzically perked and pointed face of a raven colored fox with large orbs of yellow peering up at her. He presented her a hopeful yip of a bark and rose with swish of his fluffed and white-tipped tail and began to hesitantly stride toward her.

True Identities (Roka)

Postby Sahashkalila on April 28th, 2012, 3:55 pm

The warm, pale hand on her leg made her lift her head, looking up at his face to see a warm smile on his features. His words reassured her, let her breath just a bit easier now that her secret was out. She placed her hand on his and squeezed it gently, a small smile appearing on her face as she sat there with him. He did not condemn her for what she was, and her affection for him grew as he seemed to cope with this knew knowledge rather well.

She stared at him quizzically however as he mentioned he had something to show her, watching as he stood up and began to remove his own clothes, revealing the pale expanse of his chest. She blushed slightly, not exactly sure what was going on, but she nodded at his request, a curious expression on her face even though she was blushing. All of a sudden he was engulfed with a storm of twinkling lights, hiding his body from her view. She gasped in surprise, immediately recognizing the familiar storm as what happens when a Kelvic changed his or her form. She never would have guessed that Roka was one, since he never gave any indication that he was. Or....perhaps he did, she just did not put the clues together. It certainly explained the odd bouts of affection that he would give and the sudden absences. Her thoughts were put on hold however as the lights faded, leaving a small black fox in Roka's place.

Her eyes widened in surprise before a smile lit up her face, the animal that was Roka in front of her coming towards her hesitantly. He was beautiful, his fur black and sleek, with a smattering of white on his lean body. His eyes were still the same bright gold, and at the moment they were looking at her hopefully. She slowly extended her hand to him, inviting him to come closer to her. It was almost ironic that the people the she was closest too were Kelvics, but she supposed it was because she was part animal herself and perhaps she felt better around them, either way it was ironic.

When her hand met his silky fur she giggled, letting him come closer to her as she ran her hands over his fur. "Your ssecret.....iss much more beautiful than mine,"she said softly, petting him gently. It was starting to get late, and Kalila could feel exhaustion start to overwhelm her, both physically and mentally, and she looked over at her bed before back down at the small fox in her lap. "Perhapsss we both need a resst Roka." She then gathered him in her arms gently and stood up, going over to her bed and getting into it, setting Roka down gently to let him lay where he wanted. She then pulled the blanket over her and rolled onto her side, feeling his presence press against the small of her back and she smiled sleepily, reaching a hand back to pet him. "Ssleep well my friend,"she said softly, before her eyes fluttered closed and she drifted off into sleep.

noteI have talked about this with Roka and she is taking a break for awhile, so instead of just letting this thread die, we decided that I would edit this last post to reflect an ending so it can be turned it :)
