[Spring, 512, A.V.] 30th- Ethan and Tiki have a heart to heart talk aboard the ship taking them to Nyka. The young and wild Kelvic questions Ethan about what it means to be a kelvic and what makes them so different from humans. NOTESDidn't go as planned. Ended at a fine point but still short for most threads. Needs to be graded. [Summer, 512, A.V.] 10th- The young Kelvic goes out to hunt for some bones. eager to get away from the tabel Kendall and Hadrian set every night. NOTESThis will be another emotional thread. the main problem is his feeling that he is becoming Hadrian's pet. It isn't too rational since Hadrian is kind, patient and understanding. never making him do anything he doesn't want to do. But it is burned into Ethan's mind. He becomes irrational when he suspects he is close to bonding again or is treated like a slave. Ethan is disgusted by how loyal and obedient he has become to Hadrian. It's still hard for the Kelvic to understand that these aren't the signs of servitude as he is used to. It's just the respect and love he feels for Hadrian. He will fly back to the ship and talk to Hadrian. getting it all off his chest and perhaps yelling at him. Not angry at him but furious as the prospect of being a slave again. TRAVELDon't know when Ethan came to Zelvita from Sunberth but I'm pretty sure it happens around 30th-40th. Doesn't matter as of yet. Can check it on Hadrian's CS. 46th- Hadrian and Ethan are at the docks looking out upon the strange pillars of white and black stone. Jutting out hideously from the bay. They talk of many things and eventually stumble on the topic of a Kelvic Hadrian thinks Ethan should meet. NOTESThis is where Zerren gets introduced as a possible Kelvic companion to Ethan. The thread isn't going anywhere specific but could do with morphing or reimancy or something in the magical arts. 48th- Ethan comes home to find, yet another Kelvic hadrian had taken an intrest to. Unlike the others, Ethan gives Zerren a shot and tries his best to enjoy himself. Just a meet up thread with nothing as a main goal. 50th- The first assignment of Ethan's new position amongst the Wave Guard. A citizen army, more or less volunteer guards of the city. With little equipment and less organization. Despite this it was appealing to the Kelvic. His abilities at flight and long range sight made him perfect for scouting the coastal and mountain regions surrounding Zelvita. Also it symbolized his perminent status as a citizen. Hadrian had decided to stay in Zelvita. Take a job at the university. Ethan thought he might as well do the same. His job is to head to Mihril Pass and join a couple of his comrades to watch for travelers. Search any that came and turn back any undesirables. NOTESThe main point of this thread is to start a string of threads where Ethan is faces with social and intellectual racism. Since the city is so enlightened it won't be blunt hatred. More or less it will a constant doubt of his abilities and intelligence. A superiority more subtle but nonetheless terrible.
