Home of the Konti people, this ivory city is built of native konti stone half in and half out of the sea. Its borders touch the Silverwood, and stretch upwards towards Silver Lake, home of the infamous konti vision water. [Lore]

Learning a few new things, and him.(Hadrian)

We sat in my little settlement given to me by the Timandre family as my starting house. It was a small place but really comfortable. Out of every Timandre I had to be the most friendly. I let a human male into my home, not every Timandre would have also done so. He wasn't a bad looking male either, I couldn't help but smile everytime I saw him. The smile sort of just happened, I never really meant to. At this point me and Hadrian had become good friends. And today happened to be my day of birth. I turned thirty years old. Still very young for a Konti. Hadrian was still standing and I was sitting on my bed. I spoke the common language, I was alright with it. My common language was a working progress.

"You're worrying me, why won't you sit? A bit too jumpy there, Hadrian."

I was trying to play with Hadrian. Of course I knew he could take the joke. Or at least I thought he could because I never really played around with him. Even though I was the nicest of the Timandre family I was also the least talkative. So I rarely made a joke here and there and I RARELY let people other than my sister, cousins, or the rest of my family into my home. But, Hadrian was here for a reason. He agreed to teach me a thing or two about magic. Now, I took magic VERY seriously and made sure NO ONE else was around to know when I practiced.

I stand up and grab Hadrian's right hand with my left, pulled his body until it pressed against my own, and began to move my feet quickly into a dance. My face was an inch or two away from his. I wanted him to follow along, I was a very random Konti. One minute I'd be speaking and the next I'd be dancing or singing a song.

"Even though I come from the family I do, the Timandre family, I don't mind learning a thing or two from you, Hadrian."

Learning a few new things, and him.(Hadrian)

He remembered the Konti from before, of course, but he hadn't expected to see her here. Perhaps he ought to have expected it. They aged more slowly, and so she seemed hardly to have changed at all. His smile was bemused, faint and distant, but he had always had ice water in his veins, they said. Cloaked in illusion now, the changes wrought upon him by the storm were gone. He looked much as he had when they knew each other, if older.

First she wanted him to sit, and then she wanted him to dance. He froze up a bit, not the most physically demonstrative of people, and women scared him a little. Especially the beautiful ones.

But while he was perfectly happy to teach her a bit of glyphing or something, the way she said it sounded awfully condescending.

"Well, aren't I the lucky fellow?" His laugh came out a bit like a bark.
