The Stub Development Request Thread

I have nOticed that the wikis on the races are a little incomplete or give the wrong idea. A good example is that I actually went to the help desk to ask for a less submissive kelvic to like a slaver. The response was that is how kelvins are supposed to be RPed. only submissive to their bondmate as in. The wiki didn't clear that up very well.
hey, i wont be able to come on miz much at all over the summer. i have no access to wifi unless i go to a cafe with it, and i can't go on miz on grandmas comp (moms rules, not lack of comp abilities). so yeah sorry about that.

This is from the kelvic lore under Psychology underlined for your convenience:

Their entire existence was crafted with a powerful deep-seated need to serve loyally and faithfully. The Kelvics tend to spend most of their lives looking for leadership. They often pair up with normal humans or other races and take a submissive yet highly protective and obedient role.

I thought that's pretty clear. The lore is definitely incomplete, but some are already complete and kelvics are one of them. Please read the lore more carefully before claiming otherwise :)

The Stub Development Request Thread

Hello,

I have a couple of questions with regards to Animation. The Animation article itself seems to be very complete, but there are a couple of things it references that are not.

First, there is a red link for Metalworking, which is a page that doesn't exist. But, there is a page for Metalsmithing, which I assume is supposed to be the same thing. I would guess that the red Metalworking link is just an error and is supposed to point to the Metalsmithing page instead?

There is a second red link for Machining, which is another page that doesn't exist. It seems possible that this one is supposed to refer to Gadgeteering, but it could also be meant to be something else entirely. Gadgeteering refers to lots of clockwork things with gears, automata, hydraulics, oneumatics, clocks, siege weapons, and golems.

But I'm not sure if Gadgeteering is supposed to also apply to ancient inventions like the wine press, printing press, treadwheels, waterwheels, cranes, windmills, spinning wheels, looms, and so forth. It seems possible that these sorts of things are what "Machining" is supposed to cover, since Gadgeteering seems more focused on gears and clockwork mechanisms.

I'm planning to have Minerva study every "building stuff" field possible, so I put skill ranks in both Gadgeteering and Machining when I saw the listings. So if it is possible, I'd like to know what the differences (if any) are between the two skills, so I can develop them appropriately.

Thank you

Pascids are fantastic! Looking forward to the Gordios!

This PC has the Blight gnosis. As such, you as a player need to be aware of what that consists of. Wrenmae has an invisible aura that amplifies sickness and disease. Wounds may become infected, small sneezes may become coughing, and a slight fever may become more serious. A nuit's body will also break down faster in the presence of the Blight. These effects may not be immediate, but within the few days following your encounter, the symptoms will manifest. Some sooner than others. I cannot control your character, so creativity will be left up to you. Best wishes and stay healthy!

I would just like for Acrobatics to be updated a little, more specific on the abilities between levels.

Let me refer you to this awesome article written by Victor Lark (if you haven't noticed already). It's still pending Founder Approval, but if you need a currently unofficial clarification/elaboration into the Acrobatics skill it's probably your best bet.

Gordios is a red link from the familiar list. While the concept is in the Fyrden wiki, the full detail would be superior naturally. I'm not sure who was writing familiar species up, but here's a nudge. Thank you. :D

Seeing as how Rhaus is one of the main deities my character worships. I would love to see somethings about him on his wiki. By extension I also wish to see his Gnosis made but that is secondary considering the god himself is not created.

Anyway yeah, Rhaus stub has been requested.

I would love to see Tyveth's lore be completed as my character is a worshiper.

I wouldn't mind exploring it IC either or help with ideas.

Thanks

When you have time, I'd love to see the Shroud's hierarchy and organization fleshed out. I'm still the only Blight guy walking around so no rush.
