Hello,
I have a couple of questions with regards to
Animation. The Animation article itself seems to be very complete, but there are a couple of things it references that are not.
First, there is a red link for
Metalworking, which is a page that doesn't exist. But, there is a page for
Metalsmithing, which I assume is supposed to be the same thing. I would guess that the red Metalworking link is just an error and is supposed to point to the Metalsmithing page instead?
There is a second red link for
Machining, which is another page that doesn't exist. It seems possible that this one is supposed to refer to
Gadgeteering, but it could also be meant to be something else entirely. Gadgeteering refers to lots of clockwork things with gears, automata, hydraulics, oneumatics, clocks, siege weapons, and golems.
But I'm not sure if Gadgeteering is supposed to also apply to
ancient inventions like the wine press, printing press, treadwheels, waterwheels, cranes, windmills, spinning wheels, looms, and so forth. It seems possible that these sorts of things are what "Machining" is supposed to cover, since Gadgeteering seems more focused on gears and clockwork mechanisms.
I'm planning to have Minerva study every "building stuff" field possible, so I put skill ranks in both Gadgeteering and Machining when I saw the listings. So if it is possible, I'd like to know what the differences (if any) are between the two skills, so I can develop them appropriately.
Thank you
