You can't just "hand them out". You see, the Gods can't eat our meager mortal food. The Gods survive on the souls and faith of mortals. So you need to SACRIFICE the cookies, to send their cookie souls up to heaven (or down to hell? I'm not sure which side Paragon is on ) Then they can eat the rich, nourishing chocolate chip souls...
