Home of the Konti people, this ivory city is built of native konti stone half in and half out of the sea. Its borders touch the Silverwood, and stretch upwards towards Silver Lake, home of the infamous konti vision water. [Lore]

Time: 52nd of Spring Place: Around the harbour
Mura's nice this time of year.
The Spring blossomed through and pleasant during his stay. It was hit with the most leniency during the storm, making it sweet with serenity. All minor incidences were cleared up before he arrived with Hadrian, looking as if they cleaned the city just for them.
He didn't stick around with Hadrian or Tiki much the night before. If he can remember matter of fact, not at all. It was a blur, he can't remember where he went last night. He just simply awoke with a nasty cut on his lip and his hair in dreadful disarray.
The boy wants to stay. That was all his intentions consisted of the moment he stepped onto this glowing landscape. It was full of knowledge and filled with intelligence. It wasn't Lhavit, granted, and it will always stay in the back of Aurrealis's mind, but it would be unwise to pass up and leave such beautiful potential. The island surged with healing forces, herbs upon herbs scattered the wilderness. It was pure delight, handed directly into the essence of this one aspiring child.
There was no way he could leave. Not now at least. Too much to learn and experience. He would depart for Lhavit in due time, but staying here would be beneficial. And besides, what's an adventure without a little extra adventure?
Aurrealis was musing upon a heating rock beneath the sun's morning rays. The harbor was in the near distance where Hadrian's ship was parked - a splash of sea air drifted through his nostrils. It chilled him. He shook his sleepy legs free of their bond and headed for the pier, his backpack and all. He probably should ought to tell Hadrian that he wasn't returning for his departure. Otherwise, Hadrian would be cranky the entire morning, and Aurrealis surely wouldn't want that. |

Hadrian arrived early, of course. He could have spent more time in Mura, of course. It wasn't that. But Nyka was next, and that another step closer to Zeltiva. He was planning out the next steps in his life, and he was not afraid to put his feet on the path when it appeared under them. The ship was waiting and most of his stuff was already on board. He was here now with the last of it, and there was Aurrealis, whose things were already gone from where they were staying.
"Hello, Aurrealis," he said. The boy had kept mostly to himself on the trip from Avanthal and here on the island.
He smiled faintly, curious as to his sudden appearance. It seemed suddenly too much to expect that he had remembered the day their ship would sail out.
"You aren't coming with us, are you?" he asked, having halted to converse. "Is it the Opal Order's caught your eye or...?" |

It wasn't long before he heard Hadrian in the back of his mind. He kept asking questions that Aurrealis couldn't answer. It was persistent and drilling, he kept clawing at his left ear in attempt to rid his mind. Not before long, he knew he was going crazy. There in the dawn's sleepy rays stood Hadrian himself. At first, the boy stood there dumbfounded, stupid and confused. Is he that entirely sick that hallucinations appear? And so vivid, how strange..
Might as well reply back.
Hello Hadrian. A thin smirk spread on the man's face, again, odd and peculiarly sharp with intensity.
I don't know if I'm coming with. He lied. I never thought about having to leave. He lied again. Why do you care? Are you leaving today? As if he didn't know the answer. Coming to reality, he sees that Hadrian is clearly, in existence, standing before him.
Deep inside, Aurrealis felt a little bitter. He doesn't like to give lip to anyone, and he doesn't do it intentionally either. Blame the storm, he murmurs to himself. Blame that blasted storm.
But of course, as the child is well aware, he feels nothing or shows nothing on the outside. He want's his way, yet it does and does not pain him to do so, simultaneously. Perhaps he's probably just tired. Hungry too. |

"We are leaving today," he confirmed. "For Nyka, and from there to Zeltiva. Sea travel is uncommon these days after the storm. People are afraid."
But not Hadrian. Not Aurrealis either, he didn't think. There was a part of himself that Hadrian thought might be broken, and it seemed to be a similar part that might be broken in the boy. They were cold, distant, aloof. But they were human. The storm had even painted Hadrian in Vantha colors. Part of him had taken this for a possible sign, but here on the isle of the seeresses of Avalis, he knew that he knew nothing.
Perhaps he merely wanted to be cold, distant, and aloof with someone else.
"You are welcome to join us, of course. But if you wish to stay here, it is likely safer than most places." |

Fresh sea air poured out into the morning commotion of the harbour. It mixed with a flowery redolent coming in from the eastern fields. The ground was rough on the boy's feet. He hadn't any notion of needing to put his shoes on.
Surely in due time, Hadrian must go. It was early, and yet no time can be wasted. There was no dilly-dally for this thing called "fear". They couldn't stop for it, and there wasn't any room for it to load. People were scared at times, but many others came and went like nothing had ever happened. Aurrealis surely wasn't afraid, just disappointed in himself if he were to pass up this opportunity.
Then again, if this place was safe, what adventure would that be...
Selfish people demand selfish things for selfish reasons. Aurrealis is selfless. Just, greedy for knowledge. He tends to suck and leech off the nearest intelligent thing or town he finds. It's not entirely selfish, he'll give it back to the world, eventually. He hadn't meant to become parasitical to Hadrian and the rest of the crew. They had been kind to him. They helped him finally fly free. His journey had barely begun and yet, the child is already contemplating whether or not to go with.
It was clear that Aurrealis gained interest when Hadrian had said Nyka, for he had never heard of such a place. Then again, he hasn't heard of most of geography, but that didn't matter. It was new. It was fresh and inquisitive. Maybe it provides even MORE than what Mura can. Or maybe not.
What kinda place is that? He had said, perhaps a tad too quickly. The boy had noticeable changes since the last day of winter. His eyebrows always seemed to point inwards, his skin darkened with so much extraneous sun. The freckles on his face lightened, making his complexion resemble a scattered nighttime sky. The soles of his feet hardened and the palms of his hands callused over.
He was conflicted. He THOUGHT he had his mind set. Though, through a little logic and reasoning... |

Hadrian wasn't the best at reading people, even with his keen skills at observation and his ability to read auras. Still, he had spent some time with Aurrealis in Avanthal and on the ship, and now again he was learning a bit of what might be going on in the boy's head. He smiled faintly at the sudden interest, poorly concealed.
"Nyka is a city built on the ruins of a pre-Valterrian city, ruled by four Alvina whose orders of monks run things. There is some danger there, and an Aperture into some strange place, whether Void or Ukalas, I cannot say. I would like to see it, though, so I am glad we must stop there on our way. And Zeltiva, well, I've told you of Zeltiva. Another city built upon the ruins of the old. Several of the University's buildings survived the Valterrian, and it is not a rich city, but the scholars debate philosophy endlessly and study any number of things. The sailors bring in fish and such, traders use the port.
"We might go hungry there when winter comes. They are far from Sylira's grain and the forests and seas around them are not as bountiful as they might be. But it will be an adventure to return and see how the storm affected them."
His offer had been made. Now he just answered questions, and kept an eye on Aurrealis. It wasn't quite in his nature to hope the boy would come, but Hadrian knew he could help the boy, and so it seemed illogical he should not follow all the way to Zeltiva.
Hadrian would have given a lot to have grown up in Zeltiva. |

University. Scholars. Philosophy. Study. Things, things, what marvelous things. To think that Mura had all the answers! One minute you're trapped here, and then the next, whisked off to the next higher learning. Oh how naivety was struck to the surface. Keeping that in mind, what if then wasn't enough? And if that's a worse idea? It's closer East, at the least. Little things get passed around to minuscule islands...A new forest? New discovery. Though not bountiful, it would surely press Aurrealis's interests.
Zeltiva then, next, soon, whenever. Then Lhavit. Perhaps he should slow? It's been nearly only a season since he left Avanthal...
Aurrealis jumps slightly, re-positioning his bag. He's collected things, the contents to others remain a mystery. In due time will he share the knick-knacks he conjured up. He squints at Hadrian, and without saying a word, sets forth down the walkway towards the dock. Not before a few feet past Hadrian, he bites his lip turning around. "I need to go to the bathroom. Don't leave without me, now!" He pivots to his left and sprints to find the nearest restroom, bouncing and galloping the entire way. |

Listen to the island
The waves and wind
That is the pulse
Note it, feel it
And become one with serenity
