Nienem Glass Race: Akvatari Age: 23 Gender: Male Languages Language 1: Common Language 2: Kontinese Language 3: N/A Character History Pre-Creation: Glass is not a particularly interesting character when it comes to his past. He was born on Abura, lived in a fairly normal life, and eventually came to Zeltiva because of what he could only describe as an...emptiness. He saw others on Abura drawing, or writing or composing their own masterpieces, putting their whole lives into it, but to him, the arts were just a means to an end. They were a way to make a bit of money and to fill the time between waking and sleeping, and little else. To this end, he chose music as his own creative discipline, hoping that even if it couldn't help him find his own purpose, it might at least evoke emotions in others. Glass also thought of stories of wandering minstrels making money with their tunes, and vaguely wondered if that was the lifestyle for him. Eventually, he decided to find a god, of music or light, or any other. If none would claim him, he reasoned, he would claim one himself, and he wasn't going to be too picky about it when the time came. The overwhelming lack of religious material on Abura led him to leave and take up residence in the harbor of Zeltiva. He is currently trying desperately to find a god who truly inspires him. Character Concept Glass is a character who, as his anagramic name implies, has no real purpose. He writes and plays music well enough to make a decent living with little to no effort, so he isn't always struggling to make ends meet. His studies at the university take up only a few hours a day, and he isn't taking any particularly challenging classes. All in all, he has surprisingly little to do, and this bothers him. He'll see others rushing about, chatting and laughing and walking with friends, and him without a single one. It makes him feel worthless, and if he ever was to get a friend, he would hang on to them with both hands.
