Physical Description
Like other Symenestra, Devond has very pale skin and black claws. He stands at 6.3 feet, making a very tall symenestra. He is very thin, only weighing 124 pounds. His fangs are an inch long, and curl back in to his mouth when it is closed. His hair is black, and down to his jaw and it hugs closely to his head.
Character Concept
Devond is a reclusive person and doesn't usually associate with most of society other than a nod of the head or some other ackowledgement that they are alive. He is open to new ideas, and enjoys learning about the natural world. He is able to kill very easily, so he has little need for buying food. He is a good survivalist, though he does enjoy living in a house or an inn when possible. Though he is shy and keeps away from most people, he can have very close friends. If he thinks they are worth knowing, he will make an attempt to get to know them. Though not many people are worth anything to him.
Character History
Devond Rose was born and raised in Kalinor, in a small underground village. When he was 5 years old humans came and destroyed his home and forced him and his family to leave.His father and other people from his village taught him how to survive in the wild that was there new home.
He eventually moved into the desert with his village. The group traveled for months in search of a home, being turned down by all the local races for sanctuary. Then maonths after they arrived in the desert they found a great tree, a tree so large, they could live in it. They lived there happily for years. Devond would enjoy the company of the others from his village , and he almost felt like everything was back to normal again.
Until one night when Devond was 16, vagabonds burned the tree to the ground. He and a few others escaped, though many did not live long afterwards. He was then on his own. He traveled around by himself, occasionally moving around with other groups of symenestra. He found his way though to a large human city, where he stayed for some time.
He lived there until he was twenty and then decided that he wanted to adventure more. His calling to life he thought was to see everything there was to see in mizahar. He didn't want to stay cooped up in some small village or city all of his life. When he left, he found a zith along the way, who wasn't afraid to be around a symenestra. He thought that maybe this person was someone he could get used to.
They traveled together for months through dense jungles, exploring nature and climbing through snowy mountains trying to get to the highest peaks so they could see how beautiful the world really was. Sometimes they would go back to the desert where Devond grew up and talk and trade with the benshira. They would stay with them occasiaonally as well, though they didn't trust Devond. Eventually though they split apart, then Devond traveled alone. He then turned twenty one. He is now on the way to syliras to investigate some interisting rumors about that city.
