The Black Book: Chapter 1 [Kabrin Road]

Postby Noaru on June 4th, 2012, 10:28 pm

Day 4 Summer 512 AV

''There is no rest for the wicked, No crime committed goes without punishment and those who seek the truth, can only fool themselves with lies.

*Upon the darkness stricken land, those words resonated within the mind of one being who did not rest. Nor did he look for it to come, he hadn't only one mission but several as he ran through the darkened forest side road. The path ahead was darkened, pathed with light and along its sharp turns, along those many winding roads, he journeyed to find those truths he deeply searches for. This uncertainty he senses isn't something he's unfamiliar with, its the chains that have tried to bind him, weigh him down in order to leave his life unjust and his missions unfulfilled but this is why he runs to celebrate victory, he had broken free from uncertainty and doubt; hes now truly free.*

.....

*Quiet like the night itself, he ran through the howling darkness like the wind unrestricted by all obstacles before him and with focused eyes he could see all that he could accomplish, whats to come and what will be. This was the mindset he had developed over the five hundred years he's existed and not in a single moment has he regretted such a decision to remain in this plain of existence and explore the world before him.*

''Take into consideration of all that you have done, if your sins outweigh your righteous actions then be condemned to death!

*With the opening of his eyes, light from the rising sun overwhelmed him and all of the land. A warmth he welcomes into his soul every morning again he witnesses a new day before the unforgiving horizon. However, a new day brings forth both new horrors and wonders, things he has no control remain out of his power and he being but a mere spirit does not try to do a Gods work.*

The Black Book: Chapter 1 [Kabrin Road]

Postby Noaru on June 5th, 2012, 9:16 pm

Days such as these can never be forgotten...

*The gentle forest breeze elegantly brushed against the tree's above him, leaves then began to fall in large numbers. The leaves simply passed through his ghostly body but in that brief moment when he closed his eyes; one leaf land upon the crown of his head before falling to the ground in complete rest.*

That leaf touched me? I remember, amongst the dead; rumors of ghosts possessing humans, moving objects and becoming physically ''real'' to the point where humans can see and hurt them, if this fact is true then I've been becoming ''real'' subconsciously this whole time.

*While waltzing through the forest, he tries to remember all that he had done in order for him to become ''real''. The only thing he remembers is focusing, giving himself the desire to become ''solid'' and that's when it would happen. He waited for the next summer breeze to approach when it did he focused as a leaf approached him, it simply passed through his palm without interruption.*

What am'I missing? Is there some kind of requirement needed that I lack? What must I do?

*The thought frustrated him. The idea of him being unable to perform such a task discouraged him, he's been able to subconsciously but not willingly, he felt that he needed more motivation a need that would drive him to success; a purpose to use this power. That purpose would soon arise when he heard the voice of a young maiden, accompanied by the voices of three men.*

Bandits.......

*The only name he could give to the likes of them, who call themselves human and yet allows themselves to fall prey to their basic animal instincts.*

Bandit 1: Alright wench get moving; We'll make a good profit off of you, Konti.

Bandit 2: What's the fun in that? We should just rap * whack * GAH!?! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?

Bandit 3: Quiet, you fool our leader ordered us to not to lay a finger on her, she's an oracle and she's considered priceless due to her spiritual gifts. The leader wants her to himself such beauty should be handled with a delicate touch.

Bandit 2: Hmph, says you but all I have to say is that, if you leave her with me. I won't be able to hold myself * licks lips *

Bandit 1: Your repulsive....

*The three men were riding on horse carriage two sat in back of the carriage, where the Konti woman was held tied up with a bag over her head. The four were heading towards a cabin a travelers shelter to hide their loot from any guards that may approach. The forest became quiet as a flock of birds fled to their nests into the tree's above, it became eerily quiet as the carriage ventured deeper into the forest pathed road. *

Reena: Please, just let me go. I promise, I won't tell anyone; I swear, no one won't come after you just please don't send me back to him.

The Black Book: Chapter 1 [Kabrin Road]

Postby Noaru on June 8th, 2012, 6:22 pm

* The forest was quiet and stiff many of the animals refused to make their appearances known, many were afraid to make a sound in the distance animals that approached simply turned back in fear, something was in the forest this day; ''something'' was lurking within the forest behind the scenes unseen to those who seeks its presence but the animals knew and became fearful of the negative presence but they weren't they only ones aware of it.*

Bandit 1: The animals have become silent.

Bandit 2: I know, something fierce must be in the forest today, maybe a beast of some sort? There's no telling due to flaura cover just about anything could be around and we wouldn't know until it appears.

Bandit 3: Be careful, we could be stalked by this creature in the woods. I can't explain it but this thing that's in the forest scares the animals tremendously.

Reena: There's something old within this forest, it barely became noticed; though, it was only when you all arrived is when something changed I wonder what that change was?

Bandit 2: Be quiet with your superstitious nonsense, there's nothing but some big bad beast roaming the forest and its scaring the animals.

Bandit 3: True, we shouldn't think of the ''supernatural'' when faced with oddities but who has actually seen a ghost? I don't believe in them in the first place.

Bandit 1: .......

* The man sat quietly thinking to himself, he knew something was amidst and from what he heard Reena knew as well, suspecting she knew all along that the spirit lingered in the forest, waiting for its opportunity to rise but when it would this worried him literally filling him with fear and anticipation. The very thought of something unseen, incapable of being touched was plotting his demise thus he sat quietly while the hut came into view just ten meters away from them.*

The Black Book: Chapter 1 [Kabrin Road]

Postby Noaru on June 10th, 2012, 6:47 am

* A gentle summer breeze passed and the trees danced in unison to its touch but the forest below wasn't so tranquil; dark and ominous thoughts and desires began to develop within the minds of the three men oddly enough they were of each other. The forests absence of sound frightened them, its only source were the beating hearts of men and their worried thoughts.

''The forests crawling with the presences of ghosts and spirits, someone must be manipulating them or drawing them in but how exactly?''

* Noaru, as silent as the shadows themselves moved through the forest unseen as silent and as swift as one can become, he wasn't alone other spirits, violent ones their voices could be heard through the wind itself, they were angry their slumber was disturbed and wanted retribution , blood. He could only comprehend to what they would do to anyone they found and it was this reason he would investigate more, saving wasn't his plan as he was morally grey in most aspects.*

Reena: Okay, how about a deal I'll pay you any amount of money, anything you name it just let me go before its to late.

Bandit 2: I'll spark a deal with you~ Pfft, yeah right.

Bandit 1:.......

Bandit 3: I know.

* The two men that remained quiet were aware of their surroundings, it was as if the forest itself was alive and willing to take their lives, killing intent was aimed towards them from all directions, they felt no comfort no matter where they went, or what they thought of inside their minds all odds but only the spiritual kind were against them poised to attack.*

The Black Book: Chapter 1 [Kabrin Road]

Postby Noaru on June 11th, 2012, 7:43 am

* The summer breeze cooled as daylight began to die and night made its way across the earth, it was an unsettling feeling that would cause any mortal soul to feel discomfort and grief as the calling of night was upon them. The time of dusk was here, its eerie callings sent chills down the spines of the three men who quickly jumped from the wagon and entered the safety of the hut with their Konti prisoner.*

Can you feel them? In the darkness glaring eyes watch your every move, can you see them? The unseen makes themselves known through your fears and how do I know these things? its simple really, I'am a deaths whisper.

* None could shake the atmosphere of fear from their minds, its was simple really there were ghosts, angry ones at that closing onto their location without them noticing and one out of those many ghosts knew and simply watched in anticipation; he had long forgotten humanity being dead for over five hundred years changes ones view on life and death.

The three bandits sat together at the table, expressing faces of concern and distress. The night was closing quick upon them and they could feel the rising intensity in the air; their minds began to manifest thoughts of regret and sadness. Oh what sad thoughts they were but who wouldn't think of such thoughts when death is imminent and nearly unavoidable?.*

Bandit 2: I don't feel all to well, its this tenseness in the air that worries me.

Bandit 1: That's all, there's something else that bothers you isn't there but you refuse to say it out loud, it will be that stupid pride of yours that gets you killed.

Bandit 3: The idea of letting this woman go is getting better and better. I'm certain that we can escape with our lives as well, if the boss doesn't find us..

Reena: Thank goodness, someone who finally is able to read the atmosphere.

The Black Book: Chapter 1 [Kabrin Road]

Postby Noaru on June 11th, 2012, 8:07 am

*He opens his eyes, finding himself on the beach of his old village; he gets up and dusts the sand from his clothing as he walks, dazed slightly from the strange dream he had. The young man approaches a large and towering rock formation, places a hand onto it and disappears when he reappears he’s greeted by people with expressionless masks and dark clothing, they walk besides him as he approaches and enters the gate before him. Once inside, ten flames appear around him—glowing jade green with the silhouettes of men residing within them. The room remains silent for a brief moment as the largest of the flames speaks, asking the young man of the dreams he has been having.

A sudden intensity fills the room, screams, frantic foots steps could be heard from inside the room. The ceiling is dyed red from the blood of the people that died above them; fire, explosions, death all that was wicked was present and it began to take its toll on ceiling above. The blood then descends onto the inhabitants residing within the room as ‘’rain’’ showering them with dread and terror; unsure what to do the lesser inhabitants panicked; the blood could have belonged to their loved ones, friends or family members the very thought of this terrified them, forcing them to flee from sight never to be seen again.

Within twelve hours the scene of chaos and destruction calmed down, bringing about an eerie and unwelcoming silence upon the small in heart. There stood someone, alone --filled with malice aimed partially towards himself; unable to accept that harsh reality of having everyone die before he could do anything to save them. Those were the thoughts of this person, if one believed so, as he carried one-by-one the corpses of everyone he had ever known to a grave that he had dug for each of them during those twelve hours. The saddest ones to lay to rest were the children only four through years old, they had the potential to become fine healthy young men and woman but their lives were cut short by the lustful greed of those one hundred evil.
*

These are but echos from your past boy.

From childhoods hour I have not been as others were. I have not seen as others saw, I couldn't bring my passions from a common spring; from the same source I haven't taken my sorrow. I could not awaken my heart to joy at the same tone and all I loved, I loved alone; In my childhood, in the dawn of the most stormy life from every depth of good and ill mystery which binds me still from the torrent, to the fountain; from the red cliffs of the mountains from the sun that in its autumn tint gold from the lightning in the sky, flying by from the thunder and storm and the cloud that took that form when the rest of heaven was blue in my eyes view.

The Black Book: Chapter 1 [Kabrin Road]

Postby Noaru on June 12th, 2012, 9:43 pm

Bandit 2: I..I can't see a thing outside, its as if darkness has come to consume us.

* The bandits companion walks to his side, looking outside the window with him.*

Bandit 3: This feeling of dread and unending sadness. I guess fellas , this is our last night alive together, I can feel them outside; whatever they are it seems their here for the woman.

Bandit 1: * Sigh * Oh course, isn't that right witch!!!

Reena: There shouldn't be anyone coming for me; you all killed my friends, kidnapped me and then sold me to your ''boss'' who I escaped from and now your bringing me back to him remember?

Bandit 2: Yes we remember, you don't need to remind us that we are crocks....

* The cabin walls creaked loudly as the conversation went on, causing the inhabitants to become and listen, they heard nothing as first but then the loud returned louder then it was before. The screeching sounds resonating through the wooden walls were abnormal and frightening; one of the men screamed, another placed his back the wall and lastly the other held onto the Konti women: Reena panicked and closed her eyes, hoping--wishing that all this was just a really really REALLY bad dream of some sort.*

The ghosts are on the move but why are they behaving so violently? some has to be controlling them and they are near probably watching from afar while his ''dogs'' attack and throw his prey into a frenzy of fear.

* Noaru hid amongst the shadows and observed from a distance, waiting -- watching for the main culprit to make his appearance: in his mind he believed the one responsible for the high ghost activity couldn't be far but where could he hid and how could he control the ghosts without being seen?*

* The cabin door opens, ghosts venture into the before a tall dark figure steps into the door, it closes behind him shortly; he stands, blocking the entrance door and pulls back the hood covering his face, it was the bandit outlaws boss Raiayvu, mysteriously making his appearance for the first time before ''grunts'' let alone three of them.*

Raiayvu- Ah!, darling! its so nice to see you again but this time you won't escape because I made a new friend!

* Another figure steps from the shadows: another man donning a black cloak had entered the hut a tad bit reluctant and agitated about being called a ''friend'' of this honor-less man.*

The Black Book: Chapter 1 [Kabrin Road]

Postby Noaru on June 17th, 2012, 6:12 am

* The candle lighting the room begins to flicker, as an eerie drop in temperature accord inside the room: a ghost finally takes action after waiting for so long in the room and another then another, soon the whole room was alive with ghost activity objects from the kitchen, such as knives flew into the room fatally impaling the three bandits to the wall; more knives flew into the room, creating a kind of vortex of blades which cut and diced the inhabitants inside the room all but two living beings remained unharmed inside the room, Reena and the mysterious man remained unharmed.*

Raiayvu- You.. you traitorous swine! HOW DARE YOU BETRAY ME!?!

* The bandit leader was soon after bombarded by knives, they pierced his body with such immense ferocity that blood gushed from the wounds, covering the room with red: he falls to the floor slightly twitching, faced down onto the cold wood.*

???- Now my dear, you will come with me..

* The cloaked figure reached out his hand to touch Reena but quickly was interrupted after a knife logged itself into his neck.*

Raiayvu- T...T...T.. Take th...th..that you bastard!!

* The bandit leaders last breath, he initiated a last resort attack against his assailant but he was quickly killed by another onslaught of knifes which impaled him this time from head to toe, he dies painfully, cursing the name of his fellow bandit Soev.*

Soev- Ugh, stabbed in the neck but at least it didn't reach the jugular just a few more inches and it would have.

* Reena with her back against a wall, next to her was a table in which a dagger rest upon. The dagger slowly began to slide off the table, it lands onto her lap, allowing her to jump through the window and escape.*

Soev- WHO DID THAT?!? WHICH ONE OF YOU DAMNED GHOSTS DID THAT?!?!

* He yelled infuriated by the event at hand, he then tried to open the door: it opens but quickly closes onto him. The temperature suddenly drops again and in the corner stood Noaru where the dagger now remains lying on the floor, Noaru grins as he blinks from sight. The remaining ghosts in the room, feeling their master weakening takes advantage of the situation and proceeds to tear him apart: a fitting end for a backstabbing traitor.

Reena only but a short distance from the small hut and trips on a stone on the road: the temperature drops around her but she sees nothing, unseen to the naked eye, multiple ghost were passing the forest and past her as well. Noaru, was thanked by these ghosts who wished not to hurt the young girl and thanks to his sneaky tactics, shes was saved. These ghosts then disappeared, moving onto the next life leaving Noaru and Reena alone.

Reena could feel the spirits around her but the remaining one felt familiar, she stood and looked around, thanking her unseen rescuer; Noaru with the remaining power he has left, manifests in front of the you woman 'saying '''Your welcome'' before disappearing from sight.

Reena soon departs from the Kabrin road, taking on a lone journey in the opposite direction while Noaru wonder in the other direction, feeling a bit of accomplishment in his actions brief and short actions.*
