Race ~ Benshira Age ~ 21 Date of Birth ~ Summer the 45th, 491 AV Issa is rather short and slim, with narrow hips and shoulders. Her hair is long and a dark chocolate brown, nearly black and her skin is tanned from the desert sun under which she was raised. Her eyes are a deep, jewel like blue, surrounded by thick dark lashes. Her long hair is usually wound in a simple braid in order to keep it out of her face and out of her way. Each of her ears displays a single piercing, from which hangs simple silver tear drop shaped earrings. She commonly wears a simple, silvery grey ankle length tunic with short sleeves tied at the waist with a cord and a dark blue shawl wrapped around her shoulders and over her head. When dancing however she swaps her simple and modest attire for a small, vest-like top- Scoop necked and covering just below her sternum- and a long skirt that reaches to her ankles. Concept Israiha is a very emotional, strong-willed and emphatic person who puts all her heart and effort into the things she does. She is stubborn and straightforward, often calling others out for their weaknesses and delusions. Though she shares this trait with her father, Issa is a bit more tactful with her honesty and usually only displays this side of herself to her closest relations and friends. As one who values family (immediate and extended) above most other things, Issa is a bit of a worrier and concerns herself with the welfare of people she cares about. However, on the other side of her sensitive and emotional nature is a temper; When insulted, hurt or embarrassed, she is prone to lash out violently. History Israiha’s life in Yahebah was more or less normal and uneventful until around the time of her 19th birthday. She had convinced her father, a well-known traveler, to include her on his next business venture. After nearly an entire season of begging and pleading he relented and Issa soon found herself walking the streets of Ahnatep, Riverfall, Syliras and Zeltiva. She found that she loved the environment and the people and was more than depressed when she learnt that the journey was to come to an end. One night, on the way back from Syliras the small band of traders was confronted by a band of highway man and other wanted criminals. When the traders attempted to fight back they were slaughtered, and all but Issa and an older, wounded woman managed to flee. Scarred and grieving they had no idea which way they were to go and unknowingly made their way back towards Syliras. The older woman, named Syri, died of her wounds shortly before Issa was saved by a small patrolling band of Syliran Knights. The knights, taking pity on her, taught her how to defend herself with a knife as they escorted her back to Syliras. She stayed in Syliras for half a season before returning to Ekytol.

Easily my eyes. 4. How physically fit are you? Very. My life style and job ensure that. 5. How do you typically dress and what is your style? I usually wear simple, modest clothing, but when i am dancing i wear a... Skimpy... outfit. It gets me more tips... ~ Family : 1. Who are your parents and what are they like? Do you have an accent? I was raised speaking Shiber, but i began learning Common in my early teens. I also speak a bit of Arumenic, though no where near enough to carry a conversation. I have a clear, some-what high voice and when speaking Common i carry a thick Shiber accent and tend to babble of in Shiber when i am nervous, angry, confused or upset. 4. Do you have any odd mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics? No, not really. I concider myself to be a calm person. 5. Do you have (or want to get) any tattoos or piercing? Why do you have them (or will get them) ? I have my ears peirced though that is all. It would be odd to see a Benshira who didn't have any peircings! ~ Occupation : 1. What is your occupation? I am a dancer. 2. Do you like/dislike your work? Why? I love my work for the most part. The grabby spectators I could do without... 3. If you could be anything you wanted to, what would you be? A teacher maybe? 4. What occupation do you admire the most? Why? Healers. They dedicate their life’s to helping others, it's so admirable. 5. What occupation do you least like? Why? I was at home with my mother and we decided to go for a walk. On the way home we found a stray dog and after begging and begging my mother finally let me keep him. 3. What is your worst memory from childhood? When my brother fell into the well. I was terrified and sprinted all the way home to get my father. They ended up pulling him up with a rope. 4.
