It isn’t hard to imagine Adrian as the son of a blacksmith with his broad shoulders, and solid frame, hands rough from working the forge. His skin is dark, and rough though from years of aiding his father in forging within the grand halls of Syliras . Always he is seen with an ornamented collar around his neck, ever a sign of who he had become in this place. On his hip, hidden from the causal glance by his clothing, is a Ranuri mark, its stained chains draping across his dark skin.

Character Type: Wanderer
Freshly deprived of freedom, Adrian has been finding adjusting to the life of a slave rather hard going, his only saving grace is in having been marked with Ranuri. It has made it quite easier to bear servitude, and brought him to accept his situation as a reality of life that cannot be denied. Still though, he finds himself so lost in this new place, so unlike what he's used to, and so he is reluctant to trust anyone in the city. Friendless in this new life, he uses blacksmithing as an outlet from the loneliness and frustration that threatens to overwhelm him.
History:
Born the son of a blacksmith in Syliras, Adrian naturally took up the trade as soon as he was of age, for in Syliras everyone worked, or else they didn't eat. This suited him fine, for he'd had known no other life save for one hard at work in the forge, yet that soon changed however when a friend of his father's arrived from a distant city, and the man pressed his old friend to come back to Zeltiva to see to important business there. Adrian's father would have nothing to do with it, preferring to stay in Zeltiva with his wife, yet Adrian was curious and in private pressed his father's friend into taking him along. After much insisting, the man finally consented and Adrian was to be bound for Zeltiva.
However this was not to be as intended , for Wildlands are harsh, and after surviving numerous dangers, the caravan finally succumbed to bandits that laid siege on the desperate travelers, taking Adrian and a handful of others as slaves. As despair sank in, and fear began to rise, their treatment grew worse and worse until one night he had a strange visitor in the night, from a goddess beyond his knowledge until the moment she marked him leaving him with the words, “Fate may yet have more planned for you Adrian” she spoke before disappearing into the elements, forever changing his life as he knew it, and likely saving him as well.
As luck would have it, as they closed in on their destination a coop within the slaver band coincided with an attack from a small group of individuals, whom managed to just get him free, and a few others before retreating back to where they came. For the first time in a while, he felt free and he breathed easy, soon making his way back south with a small group of companions. This peace was not to last however as the very same slavers they had been liberated from, found them once more, and beaten with hope extinguished he found himself dragged back towards Ravok in chains.
