SUMMER 15, 512AV

After a day of searching, she had finally found it. The Withering Rose. Her stomach was starving but due to her being a snow leopard she was used to not eating a few days. It was late at night probably about three hours from midnight. She'd heard this place contained some drinks you'd want to try and there was almost always a brawl every night. She liked places that fit that description. She smirked at the thought.

She clicked her tongue and then pulled the horses reins back making the well trained beast stop. She dismounted from the bareback horse then tied the horse's bridle exceptionally well to the horse post beside another one. The other horse was a black pinto and was about the same size as her horse except a bit small, but stout and muscular.

She walked through door, leaving her horse with a pat on the neck. She heard glasses clank and hearty yet quiet laughs. The bar was full of drunken men. A mid-age woman walked by her bumping into her and not even turning around to look. She shook her head Haven't people heard of manners?!? she thought. She was greeted by a waitress that led her to an open table. A menu was given to her but she didn't sit down. She looked up at the bar to see a few seats open. Be smart, Blizzard. She sat down then looked up to see the waitress "What can I get you?" She began to flip through the menu then looked up at the rose on the table. Black. She'd heard it meant a fierce night. "I'll have a order of pork with my drink being a glass of wine." She handed the menu to the waitress that walked off. She put her head in her hands with a huff then ran a hand through her blonde locks.

A Little Drunken Mayhem (Ronar)

Postby Ronar Bolbek on June 20th, 2012, 10:43 am

The night was getting on, yet the people inside the Withering Rose carried on with the same merriment they had at the beginning of the night. Ronar again had found himself stumbling through Alvadas's streets on his own a few hours ago, and by chance had come across the Withering Rose. He had never ventured into the Rose before as it had a deep, dark feel to it. This feeling had previously turned Ronar away, but now, after he had reminded himself his taste for blood, he no longer felt pushed away by the atmosphere.
This night had been the first in a few days were Ronar had felt the need to go on a wander. Overall he was feeling more calm now, less agitated by the world around him. He was relatively more peaceful after the murder.

He had came into the Withering Rose and had been seated by the waitress. That was several hours, and three and a half glasses of wine later. Ronar was now sat, sulkily on his own staring into the red liquid in the glass he held loosely in his right hand. The Rose was all very nice and cultured, but it lacked the violence and brutality the Wolf's Cave had, and so was not quite enough for Ronar. He needed something to happen, he was bored. The liquid he was pouring down his neck was fruity and romantic and held a slight burn in his throat, which suited the atmosphere of the Rose. Something was still missing though, which Ronar again, could not put his finger on.

Looking up from the glass, Ronar watched a tall blond woman enter and be led by the waitress to an empty table. She paused, then seated herself. Ronar grinned slightly, this woman looked lost, bewildered by the city. Perhaps he should pay her a visit? The woman looked up to the waitress and placed an order. In doing so, Ronar had caught a glimpse of her teeth, sharp and pointed.

Great, another Kelvic. Why is such a creature here? Surely she should be in the Wolf's Cave with the other animals.

Swallowing down the remainder of the wine in his glass Ronar swung his legs around to the side and stood up with an attempt at an authoritative effect. However, the now four glasses of wine Ronar had drank had taken more of an effect than he had anticipated, so all he had managed to do while trying to stand up was trip over own feet and almost fall over, saving himself only by placing his hand on the seat behind him now.

You never know how drunk you are until you stand up! Now remain calm, make it look purposeful!

With this thought Ronar proceeded to fumble with his shoe, but he was fooling no one. Quite a few people were sniggering at him and the waitress was shooting him a warning glare to behave.

Composing himself once more, he raised from his kneeling position and began to walk toward the Kelvic sat a number of tables away. The only thing he could focus on was getting one foot in front of the other to keep him moving. Reaching the table on this idea, Ronar began to think of a way in which he could sit down with a reasonable elegance. The last time he was drunk in a bar and decided to talk to a stranger, he had ended up in a fight with a gang of burly men, he hoped the same would not happen again.

Pulling a spare chair from another table, much to the disapproval of the people eating there, Ronar sat at the Kelvic's table. He sat with the back of the chair to his front, spreading his legs around the side and resting his head on his arms, which were rested on the top of the back of the chair.

"How do, my good friend?"

His words were mumbled and came out in more of a slurred single word than was intended. Going along with it, Ronar extended his hand out for the girl to shake.

"You look lost girl, can I help you?"

She heard a chair or two slide and a clattered sound. Retarded drunk men. she thought to herself as she looked over to see a certifiably drunk man attempting to walk and failing miserably. She shook her head in disgust Why would anyone do such a thing? she then stopped and reminded herself that this man was drunk. She hadn't had much experience with drunkards and sure as heck didn't understand why one would want to but then again, if she did have any experience, she might could have avoided what the man did next.

Blizzard watched as he messed with his shoe which gained him another head shake of disgrace from her. Then he started fumbling towards her Nuh-uh buddy. You ain't tryin' nothin'. She looked at the waitress who looked at her with a drawn eyebrows. This is where her childish attitude would get her nowhere anytime soon. When he pulled the chair up and sat down all she could think about was getting the heck out of there. She eyed the rose again Are you kidding me? He said something but it was awfully slurred, yet she could make out parts which let her piece together what he was attempting to say.

When he extended his hand, she was amazed at how... blood. She smelt blood on his hands. Her nostrils flared as they did when she was about to take down a kill. She knew the metallic scent too well for it to be mistaken for anything else. She didn't dare shake his blood stained hand. He might've washed it, but not very well. She managed to make out another slurred phrase the man said but with this one she really didn't care.

She examined the scar on his face and then looked at her surroundings. She noticed how a few of the waitresses were agitated sorta like she did with the birds on a hunt. If he was a butcher, why were they so nervous? She looked at him with a snarl then whispered "Killer."

A Little Drunken Mayhem (Ronar)

Disgruntled at the ignorance of the stranger, Ronar pulled back his hand. He looked at it meekly before rubbing it on his trouser leg. He saw nothing wrong with his hand, he had been especially careful to wash himself after he had ended the life of that pitiful old man. then again, this was a Kelvic, and she no doubt had a higher sense of smell than was found in a normal person.

The word that came from her mouth shocked Ronar immensely though. He had a respectable job, and thus was careful with his killing. So how did this woman know? How could she tell he had killed the man just earlier in the day?

Leaning forward, as to stop others from over-hearing, Ronar whispered in a gruff manor;

"Listen child, you can't prove a thing."

Pausing for breath, Ronar focused on his diction. He wanted this Kelvic to know that she should shut up. No body could find out that he was a murderer! He pulled back a little, just enough so the woman could see his face.

"If you say a word, I swear, I will cut you up. Filthy animal!"

The vulgarity coming out of his mouth was certainly not the norm for Ronar. In fact, he was generally quite polite. It appears the wine had turned him more violent than usual.

Ronar widened his eyes in an attempt to show the Kelvic he meant this in sincerity.

"now what do you say we leave here and talk in private?"

The waitress was making her way over to the table, but Ronar could only see her from the corner of his eye. This meant could not tell if she was bringing the woman's order over, or was going to throw them out.
Raising an eye-brow, he relaxed, leaving the woman to take in what he had said, then decide what she wanted to do about it.

Blizzard could sense the man was shocked at her word and her critical yet unfazed face never moved looking at him with disgust. She did hunt and she did kill but that was only animals. What was she supposed to do? A snow leopard couldn't survive off leaves. But she did it quickly which didn't make them suffer and something about him made it seem as if he enjoyed misery. This disgusted her.

So she had guessed right. He was a killer, no not a killer; a murderer. Blizzard didn't respond lightly to threats and or insults. She looked at her nails "I do believe the only thing that's need to be cut up is you." she didn't care who heard. She then looked at him with a smirk "And I am the filthy animal? Says the man who um... you know..." she lowered her voice so only he could hear and lowered her head "kills innocent beings." She returned to her appropriate posture "I do believe I would watch what I say around someone who could so easily raise her voice just a bit so anyone she wanted could hear. Especially threats. Oh, how I don't respond so nicely to threats; and calling me a child. Another thing I do ever so hate. It appears to me as if you are the child doing your disgusting hobby and then coming in here and making a fool of yourself by getting drunk." She smiled sarcastically not showing her teeth since he had obviously already seen them.

She had a lot to say, and would speak her mind not caring what one thought. She had taken down prey three times her size. This drunkard would be no problem if it came to it. He couldn't even walk straight. The waitress quickly brought out her food saying "Take your time." then left. Blizzard had this under control she always did. "Now I'd prefer to not have any human blood staining my paws tonight but there can always be an exception. And if you must say something, why not say it here, in front of everyone? Surely you're not afraid?" she chuckled "And if it makes you feel any better, of coarse we can go outside... if you can walk the ten feet." She laughed then smelt her pork.

The waitress came back and looked at her "Do you still want that glass of wine ma'am?" Blizzard shook her head "Just water please." Her request was quickly fulfilled but by that time She had easily and quickly eaten the pork. She chugged the water quickly then grinned at the scar faced man. "It's all up to you, really. But I can guarantee you, if you try to kill me I will make it as miserable as you made all the others."

A Little Drunken Mayhem (Ronar)

Oh, so we have a fighter here. Ronar grinned arrogantly as the Kelvic spoke her part. Something that Ronar did not appreciate was being told what to do, especially by a Kelvic. His honour was at stake here. He could not let such a worthless beast talk to him like that.

In fascination, he watched her down the pork and the water.

What a shame she had turned down the wine. I would have enjoyed taking that from her.

Rising to the challenge, Ronar stood up abruptly. He had decided that he would teach this little girl where her place was. In his drunken stupor his hip caught the side of the table, bringing it up slightly, then crashing it back down. Despite the fact that it had only lifted up several inches before the fall, the plate at the Kelvic's side slid down and shattered onto the floor. Needless to say, the entire room went quite and shot Ronar a glare, telling him to leave. The waitress took a nervous step toward the table, looking as if she meant to kick the two out.

"No need, fine lady! I shall remove myself, and rid you of this.."

Ronar looked down at the Kelvic with a twinkle in his eye, winding her up.

"This mutt also. Good day, and thank you for the wine!"

Bracing himself for the walk, trying to hold some dignity, but also damning the wine he had been drinking like milk, he looked again to the Kelvic.

"Come along Dog! Let's take this outside.."

Ronar let out a chuckle then proceeded to walk in a very haphazard manner toward the door. He had better think of a plan soon or he was going to be going home with a few more bumps and bruises than intended.

The nerve of this guy! He was drunk, but this behavior was irrational. She smirked when he stood up and knocked over the plate. "Wow, you can lift a table and break a plate. So tough!" She found the more she agitated him the funnier it got. He would attempt to do something to scare her and his drunk ass would fall right back down only humoring her. I find this show entertaining actually.

When he kicked himself out for the lady she found it quite funny, but then he motioned towards her as if she was an epidemic. He didn't the realize the more he made her mad the harder she would bite, literally. "I do hope by mutt he means himself." she said jokingly gaining a few laughs around the restaurant. She went over to the waitress and dropped a gold miza in her hand. "Here is my payment. Don't worry. I shall take care of him and get him even for his no payment." She grinned with a nod which caused the woman's critical face to soften a little.

He called her a dog which she in return shook her head. She watched as he walked out the door then soon followed him. She looked back at the waitress who grinned then gave her a nod. She walked out the door then slammed it behind her. Her funny smart aleck attitude was left behind the door and she picked up her serious party killer attitude once again. She bared her fangs and walked swiftly towards the drunkard ready to taste blood if needed once more.

A Little Drunken Mayhem (Ronar)

Postby Ronar Bolbek on June 20th, 2012, 9:25 pm

Making it to the door in one peace, Ronar braced himself for what was to come next. He thrust open the door and walked a few paces away from the door. The night breeze stabbed at ronar's lungs, bringing him to realise what was going on. Taking a deep lungful of the crisp air, and ignoring the cold stabbing at his brain, Ronar gathered his thoughts.

He was outside of the Withering Rose. He had drank more than his fair share of wine. In his drunk state he had offended a Kelvic, and if he was correct, she was on her way out to talk to him now.. Or something along those lines..

Turning around, Ronar heard the clatter of the door and saw the tall blonde strut out toward him. She looked angry and Ronar got the feeling she maybe wanted to do more than talk. A plan quickly formed in his head, and left with only seconds to execute it before all hell broke loose, it was rushed a little too much.

The plan consisted of four stages; First Ronar would distract the Kelvic, directing her attention away from the primary attack.
This attack is stage two. A sharp blow to the neck. If the Kelvic were to shift into an animal, the head would be an important part of her arsenal surely. So by jabbing her neck, she would struggle to breathe, and would also be unable to bite.
The third part of the plan was where things started to get hazy. The intention was that once the target was gradually choking and coughing, Ronar would hit her with something heavy, putting her out of action.
The fourth stage was to run if he could, before the Kelvic could follow him in a chase where she would win.

Alright, let's play, you pretty little thing.

Thought Ronar to himself as he extended his left hand out.

"Come on love, we don't need to fight, we can be friends!"

This was to serve as the distraction, but Ronar soon remembered how the woman had recoiled at his hands previously, so instead he went straight to stage two of the plan.

His right hand rocketed out with the intention of setting his fingers solidly into her neck. However, the wine decided now that it would get involved, so instead of the attack going smoothly, Ronar tripped over his feet again and fell to the left of the Woman. In the midst of falling, His left arm swung out in a wild attack, hoping to catch something, anything, so he could pull the woman down to the floor also.

So much for a plan.

Ronar couldn't help think as he fell down. He must make a note not to get drunk around strangers. He disliked the lack of control he had when drunk. Here he was, throwing him self on the ground in an attempt to fight. He was pathetic indeed.

When she eyed him it looked like a million things were racing through his mind. She didn't care about anything or anyone watching her. She was set dead on either knocking this drunkard's ass out or killing him. Either or would be fine with her. As this point she had no regard for his life and her intentions were on hurting him. After calling her a dog she was going to set him in his place. As if his hangover in the morning wouldn't be enough she wanted to leave him with a few bruises and scratches so he remembered what happened, who did it, and as a few reminders to not murder people.

"No need to fight? Call me a dog, a mutt, a filthy animal, then threaten me? Oh no, we're not going to be friends! And never call me love you jackass!" She bared her teeth and when he swung it hit her on the cheekbone. It caught her off guard but she was used to getting hit while going after prey. It would be a sore bruise but little compared to what he was about to get. Twigs, branches, and even the prey itself. He pulled her down, but her balance was great enough to keep her from hitting the cobbled streets. He was on the ground and she could've easily killed him then and there, dealing the final blow. She wanted him to suffer, not kill him, just suffer a bad beating that'd leave him sore for a while.

"Get up and fight you coward!" She stepped back a bit so she could prepare for any moves that might be coming. She was sure she was going to stand her ground. her pride was on the line, and like it always, it got the best of her.

A Little Drunken Mayhem (Ronar)

Postby Ronar Bolbek on June 20th, 2012, 10:55 pm

The ground tasted.. Salty.. Surely that can't be right.

Coming to his senses on the floor, Ronar felt at his his upper lip. It twinged in pain and his hand came away slightly bloody.

No big deal. I can take it

Despite having ample opportunity to go in for the kill, the Kelvic had held of. She spoke, but her words failed to reach Ronar's ears. He was defeated, though he was loathe to admit it. Tired, drunk and out of ideas. How had it come to this? He had been so mighty earlier as he killed the old man, but now he was on the floor, bleeding and drunk.

With a sigh, Ronar pushed himself up and back, so he was half squatting but with his hands still supporting him from the floor as he realised he had not enough power left to even bring himself to stand.. He looked up again at the Kelvic standing over him with bitterness in his eyes. He could have sworn she was swaying slightly.

"You take advantage and assault drunk men like me? You filthy dog!"

There was no fight left in him now, but if he could persuade the woman to deliver a blow with enough force that it would knock him out, he would be much obliged. The wine and pain was bringing a sickly feeling now, and Ronar wanted nothing more than to sleep, to be unconscious. He looked up boldly and closed his eyes, anticipating that final punch which would put him to sleep.
