I'm having a busy week so far, but all of your suggestions are great and I'm looking forward to awarding a ton of points towards them. I've already randomly rolled off my grab bag list for Antar also. I'm excited to see if he likes his prize.

Hi Guys! Don't forget, there's a weekly development contest going on and we've gotten very few entries this week. I realize its a very difficult image to work with, but that was half the fun. The winner last week opted for a Grab Bag Item. This is what he's getting plus an additional 20 points... A Camp Squealer: This series of eight rods the size of tent stakes have rather significant bells perched on top of them. When carried together they are absolutely silent, but when broken apart and thrust into the ground spread evenly around a camp, they go on alert. When anything (animal, person, even djedspawn) passes their paremeter, the bells of the two rods the movement breached begin ringing loudly alerting the camp to possible intruders. To cease them ringing, on simply needs to touch them with another of the rods to 'reset' the Camp Squealer. This was a randomly rolled item off my grab bag list. Don't miss out! If you are at all creative, you can potentially win something neat too! Anyone can play. You don't need your PC to be in Riverfall.

Ok I saw this on my friends fridge the other day and, maybe I spend too much time in Riverfall, but I thought of the Akalaks.

One evening the old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside all the people. He said, “My son, the battle is between two ‘wolves’ inside us all.
One is Negative. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego.
The other is Positive. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity truth, compassion and faith.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf wins?”

Hello fellow roleplayers!

I am a new player on the website. I am currently building my character, but it is moving along well. I am working on the history portion right now (almost done). That being said, I was looking to have a flashback here in Riverfall for my character's development.

Is anyone interesting in having a flashback thread for the Rite of Trial spectacle were the upcoming Akalaks hunt a Glassbeak? Does this have to be a modded thread? Can I do a Solo style? Or how does this work? Do I need to RP events leading up to the Rite of Trial or can I jump right in?

Im willing to guest-mod adventures of any kind or just anything >.> If anyone in Riverfall has a plot but the mods dont have time PM me. I would love to guest-mod that plot for you (I also need those perk points )

I do have modding experience and I think I can come up with some pretty cool adventures and quests if someone can fling me a general idea of what they are looking for.

Hope to hear from someone soon! (Hopefully more than one person)

Hi Folks! Just some housekeeping stuff for you! The weekly contest is posted up here: http://www.mizahar.com/forums/topic22190.html Its a legend, lore, or fairytale this week. No one's offered a legend for it yet so I thought I would post a reminder. All submissions are due by Sat night or Sunday Morning at the very latest. Good Luck! Also, work has gotten very busy for me. I've been mandated to work 6 days a week upwards of 12 hrs a shift. That means my participation here will slow down quite a bit for a while, and response time will be longer. Work gave us the timeframe of 'Until we hire three more people...' so that could be one as short as three weeks or as long as three months. I will however try to keep up the development momentum until the city is 'finished' to my liking and the contests, etc, will continue on schedule. Quests will be a priority and I will be playing with my PC still.

Hi Guys! Just a brief note. Yea! We got a contest entry and its a good one. If anyone wants to still participate, its not too late. You have until late tonight/early tomorrow to post up your version of the legend/fairytale/folklore offered for the contest this week. I will have the suggestion box all caught up too. There's a lot of outstanding awards waiting in there and I'll see to it that everyone gets their proper points! You guys are doing amazing with this perks system. I also have taken the time to roll up a huge number of grab bag items for 'shits and giggles' so if you win a design contest you can opt for a grab bag item instead of points if you want. All contest grab bag items are great (or So I think) just wildly assorted in their offerings. I will, of course, try to match up the grab bag item that best suits your PC and if I can't pick I'll ask chat for a random number or something and they'll decide. Keep up the momentum! You guys are making the city fantastic. Oh, and like Syrah, if you want to suggest prize awards for the Perks Center Treasure Chest, I'll give them serious consideration and award what I put in there for you point wise. Summer Calendar! Legends/Lores/Fairytales will be the hardest for sure! But it would get boring if we had NPC's, Locations, and that was it. We want RF to be colorful, diverse, and a real community effort! Also, Syrah, I stepped in to help with your little problem. Don't smack me though. Your little wenchy PC might not come out smelling like roses like shes always used too. Kevlar has a plan for her. And well, in the way of all Akalaks, that plan involves just one thing.
