The Pyve of Zeltyne Nestled in the mountains near the Mirahil Pass is the fairly large Pyve of Zeltyne, named after the nearby city of Zeltiva on the other side of the pass. The Pyve, over 150 years old now, was created from the remains of a farmhouse that had been abandoned by its owners due to several years of poor harvest. Nearly twenty years after this, a Pycon by the name of Ureen had spotted it as an ideal location for the now middle-aged Pycon to end his wanderings. He saw the creation of a Pyve as a final adventure he could experience that would truly cement his name in history, and set the remainder of his life to the task. Ureen sent word to all the Pycon he had met over the years, informing them of the area he had found and his desire to populate it with his own kind. Few received the letters, as many had already left the places he had met them to continue their wanderings, and even fewer responded to his call and journeyed to the small farmhouse. It was enough, however. The six or so Pycon who had decided to end their wanderings, all at least fifteen years old and growing more aware of their short lifespans, began to renovate the decaying building, replacing what they could on the inside to make it more livable. The firm foundation of the farmhouse combined with the sturdy frame allowed the Pycon to quickly establish themselves and begin improving their lives. Ureen was the eldest and most experienced of the Pycon present, and naturally became the first Elder. He directed their efforts and helped them establish a ramshackle set of homes, composed of whatever the individual resident preferred. This led to houses styled in a multitude of fashions, branching from each Pycon's favored culture. Over the years, more Pycon stumbled across the Pyve, which Ureen and the first few Pycon had decided to name Zeltyne after the nearby city, and their population slowly grew. By the year 512 A.V., the population was around four hundred Pycon, with the current Elder being Pubiscles, a knowledgeable Pycon who has a smattering of knowledge on just about everything, though little of it is practical. The exterior of Zeltyne appears to be an abandoned farmhouse, much as it was a century ago, though a hint of activity can be seen within. The door has been sealed shut, in case it opens and heavily damages the nearby buildings, and the only ways inside are small holes in the wall which lead out into the fields surrounding the building. Inside is a hodgepodge mess of a village, the floor strewn with buildings of all shapes and sizes, while the more adventurous Pycon have homes tied to the ceiling or attached to the walls. In the center is a rather large building made of small bricks. It contains the clay storage for the village as well as the meeting place for the Elder and his advisers. There are a multitude of craftsmen and scholars in the city, each one practicing his or her trade and trying to learn what they can from life in the Pyve. Credit to Syel for this location!
