Well, don't worry about grading, I'm sorry that I can't give you any good advice regarding your thesis, but maybe this might help a bit? Whenever I find myself in a difficult situation where deadlines are looming and things seem to slipping a little out of control, I sit back, stop, and consider that whatever happens will be whatever happens through no fault of your own. I'm sure there must be people you can talk to regarding your thesis, they cannot blame you for what schools have done after all.

Remember, you're in the clear, and blameless. If your dad shouts, know that it is unreasonable, and don't take it to heart.

Thank you for the advice, it's actually very helpful, and is pretty much what I do as well... so it helps that I'm not actually crazy for having the same approach. Though, it's you, so it might be crazy. Hohoho. I kid.

Guh! Hugs to you, Cas dear. I've had a bum week and it's only Monday, too, so I am totally there with you. Don't stress over Miz, though. We're here for you if you need us!

Your dad can call me. It took me 5 years to graduate from undergrad and 4 with my masters. Good things take time.

We went to the province today to do some computer stuff with kids. Their school was right next to the beach, which is pretty cool. Imagine having your lunch break by the beach. And, uh, yes... that's trash all over the shore.

Anyway, majority of the kids we had to deal with have never even touched a computer before (they're around ten to twelve years old). There was this one kid... I told him to 'click' this button on the screen, and he literally placed his thumb on the laptop screen and 'clicked' it. To be fair, in our language, we have the same word for 'click' (in the context of a mouse) and 'press'... but still.

I don't feel bad for them though. So what if they have never touched computers? They live next to the beach, and it's a cove, and the greenery is awesome. Nature for the win. Now someone just has to convince them not to litter.

The rain is bad so I decided not to leave the house today... then I see people complaining about being stranded in school because the streets have turned into a river once more. Right. These guys call me a wuss for refusing to go to school when the rain is really bad, but in the end, I'm at the comfort of my home while they are climbing to higher levels. :rolleyes:
