Appearance
Naeya’s appearance, like her mother’s, is that of a typical konti. Her skin is pale and her body lithe. She is small in stature, standing at 5’3” and weighing a light 102lb, and other races (particularly humans) have a tendency to guess her age as close to seventeen- or eighteen-years-old.
Straight, pale blonde hair falls just below Naeya’s small chest, often sporting bangs that frame the wide emerald-green eyes peering out from her oval face. Her hairstyle of choice is long and loose, although necessity sometimes dictates that she pull it back into a single fishtail braid.
Naeya, following in konti tradition, has delicately webbed fingers and toes and iridescent scales that wind their way around her body. These pastel blue and green scales are visible on the top of her feet and hands, around her legs, along the left side of her neck, and down the length of her back. Her konti gills are visible on her neck, and Avalis's Divination gnosis appears in the shape of a lily on her right shoulderblade.

Konti Gift
Sensing The Unsaid: Naeya is able to sense when something isn't being said. She is unable to know what this "something" is, but a strange feeling comes over her when other characters leave information out on purpose. She can choose to act or not act on this feeling. This feeling only occurs when it comes to speech - the written word is impervious to her gift.
Gnosis
Avalis's Gnosis: Divination (1 mark at birth, located on her right shoulderblade)
Marked followers of Avalis bear the first bloom of the Seer’s Lily and can delve into the Chavena at will seeking individual chavi and reading the past. Their sight at this level is rough. It can be unpredictable and hit-or-miss, but if they can indeed find the chavi they are looking for and read of its past, they have no problems coming up with answers to questions that might be presented to them. At this level, individuals cannot read the present or the future. There is also very little danger of mental illness or the seers becoming lost in the Chavena.
Note :
Naeya has never had any formal training in her Divination gnosis, since she was born and raised in Riverfall. Her mother was blessed with a Healing gnosis at birth, which meant that Naeya was unable to get much instruction from the other Konti member in her family. Her decision to leave Riverfall and travel to Mura was made largely with the intent of receiving Divination training. She often finds herself involuntarily looking into someone's past, which can be incredibly distracting and occasionally disturbing.
Religion
Naeya carries a deep sense of respect for Mizahar’s deities. As a Konti (a race born of Avalis and Laviku), she knows especially well that the gods and goddesses wield powers beyond comprehension and can affect mortal life in a wide variety of ways. She is a devout follower of the goddesses Avalis and Semele, and frequently praises Laviku. Naeya shows her reverence for her chosen deities through prayer, meditation, and offerings. She does her best to honour and uphold the names and values of these gods through her actions. If her deities were to request something of her, she would follow them faithfully and trust in their kindness and wisdom.

Imass is Naeya’s closest childhood friend. Naeya met Imass in Riverfall’s Zhongjie Warren when she was sixteen-years-old. He rescued her from a trio of bullies, and she subsequently got him in trouble with the city authorities. They’ve been great friends ever since.
The two were separated when Imass unexpectedly left Riverfall in 509 AV in an effort to deal with his dark brother. Naeya was deeply saddened by this loss, and still has an emptiness in her heart that has yet to be filled by any other companions. They correspond regularly through letters, but the written word is not the same as a kind smile and a warm hug.
Naeya checks in on Imass every so often using her Divination gnosis, as she knows his chavi well. She hopes to see him again one day, and frequently prays to Avalis to keep him safe.
