oocPvP is approved if you wish. Have fun. This one should be short. We approach the end now!It took a single tap of the pointed chisel. The Obelisk glowed vividly, sparks of larges tumbling upward to the tip then as if a shower falling down, lightly tickling at the skin of all beneath it, the whole display more than visible to all in Zeltiva that happen to be setting gaze at the large structure. Anselm's auristics fluttered, though rewarded little true insight into what was happening. Then, as soon as the lights began, then condensed upon the point struck, and with grace a single shard, fist sized, fell off and landed in Leigo's young hand, given some level of dexterity. The stream of light from that point he had touched suddenly vanished, and the water presumably returned to its former state.
All together flashy, though uneventful. Anselm's auristics had reached a point, if he pushes himself further, if he keeps looking his awareness may slip beyond, and pulling it back could be a challenge. He had met plenty of mages before, aurists that look far off even at items just before them, men that never seem to be in the moment. He must choose weather to risk such a thing. |

For a second Leigo’s face widened in shock, but the very next it expressed a smug victory. Everyone knew he had no idea what was going to happen, but his actions still proved his worth. The family used to need men like him… perhaps they would again one day...
Shaking his head at momentarily insignificant thoughts, boy headed for the boat. Unless something stopped him, he would disregard both Poole and the Nuit completely until they reached where shore once more.
A thought occurred to the boy finally and as soon he got back aboard, he would split the rock in two, throwing one half to the sailor and keeping the other. Who knew… maybe Anaya could tell him more after all. |

Nothing happened. The White Obelisk had allowed a piece of itself to be taken. Anselm climbed into the boat and let himself collapse near the stern where he stared up at the tower. He was tired. He felt empty. He wanted to be somewhere else, anywhere else. He looked at Poole and said, “Perhaps we should head back now.” |
