Ilana, Daughter of Syna
"Sunset darkest at day boy, brightest at night I could be the sun boy, or I could be the moon I'm made up from the stars boy, I'm shining so bright" ~ JBT Physical Description Name~ Ilana Race~ Ethaefal (Day), Vantha (Night) Birthday~ 19th of Spring, 512 AV. Appears to be in her early twenties. Day Phase While the sun shines Ilana is quiet beautiful. Her hair is long and fine, like silk and her skin is smooth and a pristine shade of porcelain. From the right angle a golden shimmer can be seen to play across her skin, a mere remnant of the glow she held in the time she spent with her goddess mother, Syna. Her large eyes are a light blue and her lashes are long and delicate, reminiscent of the wings of a butterfly. The horns that arch from her temples are dainty, curving gently around her head in the likeliness of an elaborate, ivory crown. She is tall and slim and her body appears to be delicate, as though carved from glass. Night Phase As the sun sets and darkness descends she claims the form of a young Vantha woman. In this form loses some of the height she held as an Ethaefal and gains some curves, as well as losing her horns her horns. Her skin, instead of being alabaster pale is now lightly tanned, despite the fact that this form has never seen the sun. Her hair, just as long as it is while the sun shines, turns black and takes on a curl and her eyes, no longer the light blue, change in color with her every mood. Winter~ Light brown hair, Forest green horns. Fall~ Deep auburn hair, Golden horns. Spring~ Dark blonde hair, Spring green horns. Summer~ Golden blonde hair, Pearlescent white horns. Character History (WIP) Ilana was 'born' in the Suvan Sea, on the third tier of Riverfall. Her long blonde hair floated on the waves as they gently moved her towards land, the crisp air chilling her exposed body. Without memory or clothes she made her way to the sandy shore, confused as to where she was and where she had come from. A deep longing filled her, for what exactly she was not sure. Upon looking up to the sky she was instantly enthralled by the sun and her sense of longing only grew. Flashes of her previous life slipped through her mind, and she felt a mild disappointment at her new body, despite her beauty she was still nothing compared to her former self. Her skin lacked the golden glow and her hair did not glimmer as though spun from gold. She was lucky enough to be found by an Akalak man who, after wrapping her in his cloak, was kind enough to escort her to Godiva's Refuge. She spent just over a week there, getting her bearings and studying the books supplied to her. |
