Considered one of the most mysterious cities in Mizahar, Alvadas is called The City of Illusions. It is the home of Ionu and the notorious Inverted. This city sits on one of the main crossroads through The Region of Kalea.

Sylkra was overjoyed to see Nira. But she did not have time to be joyed.

A snowball flew her and hit her in the face, and she raced after the man, who was tall, with long blonde hair. She then said "Sure!" Just to tell Nira she was not leaving. She raced behind a pole nearby, that looked to be a streetlight, and stripped off her clothes. She shifted, after making sure they were placed neatly on a bench nearby.

She raced back to Nira, before shoving her face in the white fluff, happy to see it. It puffed up her nose, and she erupted into a sneezing fit, before bursting into laughter. Or, inside, at least. She pounced back to Nira's side, ready for whatever came next. One they started building the big balls for the snowmen, Sylkra was strong and could push them for Nira, making them collect the snow.

The Art of War (Nira'lia/Open)

Postby Kuvarakh on July 7th, 2012, 12:02 am

Kuvarakh examined the work of the boys and their snowmen. Yes indeed, with just a nudge of cooperation they would be a force to be reckoned with. The dozen snowmen, divided into groups of three, answered to either one of the boys, or himself. Each "crew" had grasped the rotation of tasks necessary to accomplish the mayhem they were giddily anticipating.

One to dump a load of "powder" into the wide, five-foot-long pole of packed snow. Itself, set at an angle atop an equally packed block of snow and braced on both sides by packed "wheels". Another snowman setting a loosely packed "wadding" of snow in the same end. The third taking a small post and tamping the combination down into the tube. At a glance, the end of the tube did not appear to be hollow, but Ionu's mischief would not be denied by mere reality. Lastly, one of the first two snowmen took a fairly large ball of packed snow and set it against the end of the tube. It disappeared, rolling down into its depths.

Each crew having accomplished this series of tasks in five or six seconds, the boys looked at Kuvarakh, who grinned as he raised one arm. "Cannon crews...first salvo...FIRE!"

In the happy melee of snowballs taking place below the hill, laughter, light-hearted threats and delighted reprisals ceased in sudden distraction as four fairly loud "FWOOMP"s sounded from the hilltop. Four ten-foot-high geysers of soft snow erupted in choice locations, dumping a painless dusting of snow over the bodies of those involved in the free-for-all.

All eyes turned to the hilltop. Standing atop the low wall, stark in his black robe against the backdrop of white, Kuvarakh scanned the scene below with a predatory chuckle. He turned to the most outspoken of the three boys, the one named "Tom"...

"COLONEL THOMAS....COMMENCE FIRING!" He swung his arm down and all four "cannons" fired again.

OOCIt's ON! I will not be selecting targets specifically so if you want to thread yourself dodging "cannon" fire, it will not be contradicted.

Postby Serena Siren on July 7th, 2012, 12:31 am

Serena was forced to defend herself from the oncoming assault of snow, raising her hands to protect her face.
"My hair" she muttered under her breath, but it was all part of the fun so she managed another soft laugh. Anticipating that there would be many more onslaughts Serena decided that she best form some sort of plan in order to avoid taking too many hits.
She turned her gaze to a group of newly created snowmen some distance away, she sent each one a small injection of djed with a single simple command. 'Protect Me'
Seemingly out of nowhere the five snowmen abandoned their young creators and crossed the frosty battlefield forming a tight V-formation around Serena. A smirk found it's way to her face as she crossed her arms, these feeble minded snowmen would provide adequate protection from incoming projectiles.
"Attack anyone who targets me." she said sounding like a sergeant, stern and confident. The snowmen began pelting anyone who so much as looked in Serena's direction while holding a snowball. Not exactly what she meant but ey, the snowmen were lacking in intelligence after all. She hated to admit it but Serena was enjoying this childish game.

Snow...Bob was no longer surprised by anything in Alvadas anymore to be honest and he would not allow it to distract him. All he wanted to do was get to the temple like some of the other Speakers told him too. He knew that a lot of them did not like him too much because he joined recently as an adult unlike the norm and he did not show the same reverence they did to the city's patron god. While he could not do anything about the first, he decided that he should try doing something about the second even if he did not really mean it. "Now where am...Iahhh. I see it now" he told himself happily as he headed over towards the unmissable temple he could see not too far from him.

It was when he got really close he noticed some footprints in the snow that appeared from nowhere really. Really! It was all empty white before the first set and it did not look like the snow was tampered with. Normally he would have ignored these things but the prints were unusually big...and barefooted..."what?" Could be another rare beastie he could tame and exploit. What a chance! Bob followed it holding on to his cane excitedly when he ran into a pair of snowmen blocking his path and then he heard yell. Something that no one wanted to hear when another snowman appeared from nowhere to block off the path behind him.

"Eat snow loser!"

And Bob was literally force fed some when in the snowmen's hand a few yellow snowballs appeared. "Please don..."n't pelt him with urine snowballs. Force fed with the snowballs he wanted to pit out right away, he did not only because they tasted "lemony..." and a few kids walked out laughing. He did not want to give them the satisfaction by making a spectacle of himself. Instead he threw off his longcoat revealing his uniform hidden by it to give them the biggest fright of their life. Giving a wicked grin he asked them to "tell me why I shouldn't?" Well Bob would not do anything to them since they were having some harmless fun but that was what he was doing too. Especially when they broke down crying about the chaos in front of the temple and how they were preparing themselves to take the spot back.

"So...you boys say that any snowman I make will come to life?" They gave Bob a nod but corrected him that it was only the snowmen made at the temple that will come to life. "And there is an all out war there right now?" They nodded again and one suddenly complained that some of their snowmen were stolen somehow. The three that they had now was all they had left. "How about we take back your spot and...your snowmen?" Bob asked the boys who looked at him not knowing what was going on. He asked one more time in a louder and more excited voice while raising his hands like a giddy idiot. That got quite a reaction out of them. Why did they have to doubt him? "I'm only here to help you boys have fun. Ask me for anything you want."

Following the kids Bob found the great snowball fight. The only person he could recognize there was the konti Nira'lia. She was pretty much outgunned by another man leading an army of snowmen. Apparently the group of children near him was not liked much by the ones Bob was with. Bob started piling some snow up forming a small rectangle and then told the boys "keep adding snow on it. We'll need something to protect us from those..." what did they say again? "petchers attack." Really strong words for children. Nevertheless Bob was going to send a message too. He rolled up a snowball in his hand and then another. He put them on one another stacking snow on the bottom one before putting some sticks to make the smallest snowman he has ever seen. "See that konti there? Go to her and point at me." Then Bob went back to helping with making the fort. Hopefully they would not shoot the messenger.
